I don't know if he saw the field of play (probably not), but Hass had no receptions today. Of course why should he play, given that the Seahawks are such a good team and all, nearly beating the Patriots, losing by a mere 48-10.

This has to be the cruelest joke played on a white man with true skills.

"coach" Mor(on)should be fired. This guy has been a team killer from the time he was making calls from inside ConVick's ass in Atlanta.

The collapse of the majority black Seahawks has been been a good a thing to watch. These are the ruins left behind by Holmgren and carried forward by his apprentice and fellow caste-master Mora. It could not happen to a better guy, IMO. Seattle is one of the worst teams in the NFL. Good riddance!

Mora's stupidity really stands out, even among all those other moronic NFL coaches. He is stubborn to a fault and makes idiotic decisions. For instance, he rushed the aging, totally ineffective Julius Jones back from a serious rib injury, screwing over young Justin Forsett, who looked great when Jones was injured. As soon as Jones came back, Moron handed him his starting job, and he predictably contined to be awful running the ball.

Moron comes by his "brilliance" naturally. No one can forget the stellar job his Dad did with the Saints. No playoff victories, and consistently one of the blackest teams in the league.

Just read the post-game reports from the Seattle media. Hass dislocated his left shoulder early in the game on special teams. He had the shoulder "strapped down" and continued to play. This could be the reason he never played as a WR. Moron said he will probably need surgery after the season is over.

More bad news about Mike Hass. It's a shame a starting caliber White WR gets hurt playing special teams. His whole story sickens me. I doubt that he'll ever see any significant NFL playing time.

Mike Hass seems to never catch a break. I feel bad form him. I hope he heals and gets one more chance. Hopefully a white head coach will do that for him. Next year.

Well, Hass goes on IR for the last game of the season. I believe this means he is paid as if he was still on the team for the last game, so gets another game check, if I understand IR rules correctly. Its so unfortunate that he was injured as perhaps in the last game the Seahawks would try experimenting a bit and throwing to him. I hope he can finally smash down the anti-white WR barriers in place and make a team for the whole year in 2010 and actually get used as a WR.

If Hass were black he would have been screaming to play him a long time ago. There is no way a black Biletnikoff winner who accomplished what Hass did in college wouldn't be playing.

The fact that he never even got "a chance" to showcase his skills is what is sickening. You can't be a failure- if you never get a shot to prove yourself. He certainly wasn't a failure in college- in fact he won the award for the best receiver in the entire FBS. He isn't fast (relative to starting NFL WRs), but he is very agile (great 3-cone and lateral agility numbers) and there are a fair number of far less productive college receivers in the league who are as slow or slower than him getting playing time (all black though).

There is only one Biletnikoff award winner a year for college's best receiver- and the day a winner of that award isn't even given ONCE CHANCE with a resume like that- shows how low the United States has sunk with quotas, AA policies and stereotypes.

BTW, Freddie Barnes of Bowling Green was a Biletnikoff finalist from a weaker conference than Hass. He didn't win the award, but just broke the FBS record for catches in a season and was second in the nation in receiving yards. Barnes looks like a good Flanker or Slot WR prospect (his YPC is too low for a Split End) and is estimated to run the 40 in about 4.6 (Hass ran a 4.59 at the combine). So this guy puts up similar numbers to Hass when you look at the entire stat line (maybe slightly better, but in a weaker conference) and is the same size as Hass and runs a virtually identical 40. When Barnes gets his shot or is drafted higher (btw, he faced less elite FBS corners than Hass did in his conference) we will have yet more proof it's all about skin colour. I'm not an expert at breaking down WRs (much better at RBs), but to the best of my knowledge, both Hass and Barnes could make good slot WRs or solid STARTING Flankers. They should both at least get a shot with college resumes like they have.

Yeah, right, ok, whatever:

Former Seahawks wide receiver Nate Burleson signs with Detroit, good news for Mike Hass

With several holes to fill on a 5-11 team, the Seattle Seahawks figure to be pretty active during the free agency period.

Add wide receiver up as a top priority.

Wide receiver Nate Burleson has signed a five-year contract worth $25 million ($11 million guaranteed) with Detroit, as reported Thursday night by the Seattle Times.

Allowing Burleson to get away is not at all a surprise. He missed nearly all of the 2008 season and his best year in Seattle came in 2009 when he caught 63 passes for 812 yards and three touchdowns. How that type of production earns one a $25 million contract is a mystery. But that's for Detroit fans to unravel.

For Seattle, the question now is who is going to start opposite T.J. Houshmandzadeh?

With Deion Branch less than reliable and rookie Deion Butler still unproven, the answer could be floating around in the free agent pool.

Anquan Boldin and Brandon Marshall are just a couple of the big name wide receivers that Seattle could try to sign.

Burleson's departure leaves Seattle with seven wide receivers. Among them is former Oregon State star Mike Hass.

For now, Hass is the team's No. 5 wide receiver behind Houshmandzadeh, Branch, Butler and Ben Obomanu.

According to a source close to Hass, the hiring of Pete Carroll as Seattle's coach certainly didn't hurt the wide receivers chances of making the team in 2010.

Carroll has long been known to have an affinity for Hass, whom he coached against in the Pacific-10 Conference while at USC.

Don, I know we've been disappointed with regards to Hass year after year, but with Burleson leaving, Branch almost sure to be cut, and Butler not showing much as a rookie, could this finally be the big break for Hass? And if the article is correct that Carroll is positive on Hass from his OSU days, let's hope he makes the team this year. (crossing fingers)

In the racist NFL, you need this sort of thing sometimes, where all the stars align perfectly for a deserving white player to eventually get his chance.

What could happen is they pick up another over rated receiver like Benn and give him an opportunity to start. Hopefully Hass sticks as at least a number 3 receiver.

The Seahawks are also mentioned quite a bit when it comes to where Brandon Marshall may end up. There's nothing in Pete Carroll's resume as either a college or NFL coach that makes me in any way optimistic that this season will be any different than all the rest for Mike.

Im hoping Hass left an impression on Carroll from his playing days at Oregon State. I just hope he finally gets his shot.

I also heard Holmgren might make a move to get Seneca Wallace, Holmgren is such a hack.

Don, that's so much truth in so few sentences.

for anyone who followed USC whilst Carroll was there, they saw an absolute dearth of White athletes at the skill positions (sans quarterback). this lack of recruiting White kids even occurred when the best athlete at USC's football camps was White. a poignant example of this is Devon Wylie, who is currently starring at Fresno State.

you can see video proof here.

i wish all the best for Mike Hass, but Carroll's track record isn't indicative of positive things to come, nor is the media's assertions that Brandon Marshall is headed to Seattle.

i love the game offootball, but i'm coming to hate the NFL.

Mike Hass was the USC killer. Miss Petey should well remember how Hass blazed past his all-black secondaries with ease...creating some of the most dazzling displays of body control, route running, hands, and football speed/quickness in NCAA history. Na, the caste memory holes are deep these days. Do-nothing has-beens like smurfette Deon Branch are a much better option.

As always, best of luck to Mike this season...based on his first 5 seasons in the Racist Utopia known as the NFL, he'll certainly need it.Edited by: Thrashen

Wow the Seahawks are going out of their way to screw Hass.

Seahawks sign Ruvell Martin
Posted by Michael David Smith on March 15, 2010 4:07 PM ET
The Seattle Seahawks have signed free agent wide receiver Ruvell Martin.

The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports that Martin signed a one-year deal with the Seahawks.

Martin played eight games for the Rams in 2009 but caught only six passes for 99 yards. His best season came in 2006, when he caught 21 passes for 358 yards for the Packers.

Seahawks General Manager John Schneider worked in the Packers' front office during Martin's three seasons in Green Bay from 2006 to 2008.
