It's the same story time after friggin time. I was just wondering why the Eagles don't try Chris Maragos at safety. The Eagles have the worst free safety in the league and here we have this ST beast in Maragos sitting there watching this slop. Maragos is MUCH faster than Nate Allen. He runs a 4.4 40 and is a second faster in every drill than Allen. He isn't quite as tall, so maybe that's it?

Maragos is a natural ball hawk his senior year as a badger he led team and I think conference with 8picks. Always been a fan of his seeing as how he hails from a town nearby and his outstanding work ethic. Its amazing he's still in the league. As for why Allen is starting? Hepasses the eye tests the gay coaches and gms love.

Jordy should easily surpass his best in receiving yardage this season. He is less than 200 yards away with four games to go.

My only complaint is that he was screwed over the first few seasons in the league. He didn't become a starter until season 4, and that year he started 9 games. A guy whose possibly the best receiver in the league rides the pine for the first several years of his career.

If you use these examples to DE-LEGITIMIZE the sports mafia establishment you will be effective, but if you approach this like the usual Contard way of quibbling details you merely enshrine the caste masters as authority. Mock them

Sports Illustrated Article on Jordy

http://www.si.com/nfl/2014/12/05/jordy-nelson-green-bay-packers

This is the article mentioned in an earlier post. Pretty nice article actually. I was just mentioning to a friend the other day after the Atlanta game that those corners subconsciously blow Nelson off because of the skin behind the facemask. That was allluded to within the first paragraph.

Jordy seems like a real down to earth guy.

The corners dont blow him off! Thats the whole point that Orlando Scandrick made when he called into that show. The other team is EXTRA focused on Jordy! He is THE weapon that teams want to stop. The only reason he is always open is because he is WAY better than any defensive back.

Negros dont underestimate him they try even harder to shut him down, because no negro wants to lose to a White man. Im sick of the bs media trying to convince the average moron that d-backs are "underestimating" him. Why not just be honest and admit he cant be covered?

Jordy makes it look easy. Since the eighties, probably sooner, the number of blacks at the wide receiver position has always been synthetic. There are more Jordy Nelsons, Wes Welkers, Riley Coopers, Julian Edelmans, Danny Amendolas’, Austin Collies, Blair Whites, Chris Hogans, Keith Pooles, Patrick Jeffers’ out there. Hundreds.

Early reports are that Jordy has a torn ACL. He went down without being contacted. Devastating if confirmed.

The early report may be fake. Let's hope for the best. From a fantasy site:

Be on the lookout for FAKE information being passed along and retweeted regarding the Jordy Nelson injury. Someone on Twitter was impersonating NFL.com's Ian Rapoport with a fake account and posted that the Packers were concerned about structural damage to his knee. That info is FAKE. The truth is there is no news at the moment on Nelson. Just be careful. Ian Rapoport's real Twitter account is @RapSheet

Hoping for the best...sick to my stomach right now...saw the play happen. He landed & twisted a little funny...as he was turning he went down. He limped off the field...then the sidelines he was ticked!

They showed him walking off the field pretty normal. I hope that is a good sign.

Latest:

Bad news for Jordy Nelson. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport just confirmed that Green Bay WR Jordy Nelson has suffered a torn ACL.

From Rapoport: The initial diagnosis on #Packers WR Jordy Nelson is a torn ACL, source said. Horrible news. Awaiting MRI results to confirm.

Be sure to read what Rapoport says here. "Initial diagnosis". The MRI has the final say. But clearly, this looks awful right now. It's possible we won't have official word on the MRI until tonight or even tomorrow. I don't know the doctor who made the diagnosis but Rapoport is a reliable reporter and I'm going to assume the Green Bay physician is a top doctor. Sideline exams are reliable for NFL medical staff and the MRI almost always confirms. If Rapoport's source is good, expect to hear confirmation soon.

As far as how the Green Bay offense reacts without Jordy Nelson, here's our Jason Wood with a quick first take: "Randall Cobb becomes part of the elite tier (if you didn't new him that way already) and Davante Adams is the big winner as he becomes a top 20 WR almost by default. Also gives Janis a new lease on life after a tough preseason. Rodgers remains elite, although the gap between Luck and Aaron widens a smidge."

Horrendous news, and if true, this is the worst injury suffered by a white star during a pre-season game since Jason Sehorn in 1998.

I read that the field he was playing on was in terrible shape for the game. Jordy is a top 3 WR (and the game’s best deep threat) and was poised for another huge campaign on a team vying for another SB title. He is arguably the most dominant white offensive player in the NFL (only Gronk is comparable) and the one silver lining to losing him for the season is that Jeff Janis and Jared Abberderis could make the squad and contribute until Nelson returns.

Let's hope it's merely a bad sprain, but it doesn't look good...

Really bad news about Jordy. I hope that Jared A. and Janis both make the team and have an impact.

So no official word yet on the severity of the injury, and I realize this is a serious injury no matter how you slice it. In trying to be as optimistic as possible, if it is in fact a tear, is there a chance at all he could return to action by week 8-10-12ish?

Sure hope so. Deflating news about his knee injury.. Janis should benefit the most with a true chance at number three spot. As others have said I hope Abbrederis can stick around!

Hopefully this will allow Janis his due opportunity. If Abbrederis can get healthy, I'd like to see him, too.

Would be awesome if GB signed Welker, but he's now seen as a "liability", which is ridiculous. How many straight seasons with 100+, 1000+, and 2 seasons with Peyton and he gets concussed, and now written off.

:blank: Welker is all but blackballed from the league. Same can be said for Collie. :blank:

Jordy Nelson, the former college walk-on from rural Kansas turned 3-time 1,00-yard receiver, pro-bowler, and Superbowl Champion, turned 31 yesterday. Nelson is the most dangerous deep threat at WR in the NFL, so with his remaining 4-5 years of football, let's hope he comes back stronger than ever from his knee injury in 2016...

The Packers official website has plenty of clips of Jordy even one called in German for you Krauts. Its a breath of fresh air to see how he changes the game as compared to last year when the "natural athletes" couldn't get free even if Abe Lincoln was calling the plays.

With 3 games remaining, Nelson is currently leading the NFL in TD catches with 12. Ironically, #87 will need exactly 87 more yards to achieve his 4th 1,000-yard campaign. It would also be nice to see him snag another TD or two and hold off Antonio Brown and lead the NFL in TD catches this season...
