JJ Watt signed a $100,000,000 contract extension. The deal is the highest ever for a defensive player. $52,000,000 is guaranteed (holy cow). He's now locked up for the next 8 years.

J.J. was wearing a mic during the Titans game, he's a funny guy. But just watch the highlight video of his play in general. He is truly amazing. It's too bad all of the other "J.J. Watts" out there aren't recruited, and don't have the money or desire to go through the hardship of walking on to a D1 school.

Enjoy!

I had to read it twice to believe my eyes on nfl.com. The caption under Watt's "Wired Up" game session video had these words on the front page of nfl.com:

"J.J. Watt was wired for sound during his dominant performance against the Titans. The results: Another perspective on the most dominant defensive player of this generation."

Are you kidding me? Jordy making the cover of SI and being called the NFL best deep threat and now this, all in the same week?

Egads maties!!!!

This could be a dream. If it is, don't wake me up.

Walk-on J. J. Watt was named the number one player in the NFL in the top 100 countdown. Considering that it's determined solely by the votes of the players, and blacks are notorious for voting for their own, it's very impressive. He's the first defensive player to even crack the top ten in the past four years. Aaron Rodgers finished second and Tom Brady third.

How do I know Watt won? Surfed to the NFL Network, which was having a show about it, hosted by a white female while the other three on-air employees were black males. The Caste System has spread to virtually the entire media. What are the odds that all three non-hosts would be black? Hmm, 1/8 x 1/8 x 1/8, the odds are 1 in 512 that all three would be black given their percentage of the U.S. population. Taking into account how few of them try to speak English correctly even after four hundred years of living in America, the odds are actually much higher than that.

Glad that J. J. is a beast, but it changes nothing as far as the Caste System and the rapid phasing out of White men in a nation that was always acknowledged as a White country up until 45 years ago.

I've been watching NFL games for over 35 years and J. J. Watt is the greatest defensive player I have ever seen and has the best all-around game, bar none.I remember Wade Phillips saying very early on the Watt had Hall Of Fame level talent and how he was resoundingly mocked by just about every major sports media outlet across the nation for saying that.Who's laughing now ???

I saw a commercial with JJ Watt sitting in a locker room and being verbally abused by some guy with a guitar.

I'm sick of seeing white men demeaned in commercials. Male negroes are never demeaned in commercials.

White men should refuse to do commercials such as this.

I didn’t find the commercial to be offensive, as it essentially represented Watt listening to music (a white, country artist, “Zac Brown Bandâ€￾) in the locker room and getting excited prior to taking the field. I get what you’re saying when the musician squirts water in his face, which is demeaning...

JJ Watt and Rob Gronkowski (probably the two best football players in the NFL) are white athletes that are universally portrayed as masculine. In numerous commercials since his ascendancy to greatness, Watt has been depicted chopping wood, making sacks, flexing, screaming, and uttering humorous lines about his size/strength/dominance, etc.

The commercial seems offensive at first, but it's actually showing how the band's music gets Watt psyched up for a game.

Watt, like Gronk and Peyton Manning and a few others (Howie Long, Jordan Spieth so far) has the sense of self-worth not to let himself be portrayed as a buffoon or otherwise in negative ways in advertisements.

J.J. Watt named DPOY for second straight year

6469.jpg

Associated Press named Texans LE J.J. Watt its 2015 Defensive Player of the Year.

It’s the third time in four seasons Watt's won Defensive Player of the year. Watt’s stats declined in 2015, but he still led the league with 17.5 sacks, 29 TFLs, and finished as PFF’s highest graded 3-4 end. He received 37 votes, followed by Rams DT Aaron Donald (7), Panthers MLB Luke Kuechly (4) and CB Josh Norman (2).
Watt joins Giants LB Lawrence Taylor as the only three-time DPOY winner.

Amazing. It could be argued that Watt is already the most dominate defensive player of all time. J.J. will have plenty of chances in the next 5 years or so to grab his record setting 4th DPOY award. When he achieves that it would be nearly impossible for anyone to argue his all-time greatness.

Pft is trying to make the statement that Watt gets a free pass for his supposed antics because he is white. What antics might you ask? Basically having a chip on his shoulder because he was labeled a two star recruit and he proved them all wrong.

The Nordic Beast is one of the greatest players of all time. He's better than any black football player. His excellence is contrary to the leftist narrative of black athletic supremacy.

So the leftist media seeks to diminish his luster through alternate means. They can't attack him for his play on the field. They're going to chip away at him any way they can. And they'll never give up and they'll never stop until they're removed from power.

One of the things they're trying to get rid of is positive role models for young whites.

Congrats to The Nordic Beast, who despite an injury-plagued season (groin, hand), was still the most dominant defender in the league. Sure, he didn't score multiple TD's as he did during last season's legendary campaign, but nobody expected him (or anybody else) to ever replicate 2014-2015. I will say that fame and notoriety really do seem to have changed JJ Watt. He went from an "awe shucks" type (despite being an instant superstar) to having an bit of arrogance/edge to his personality. I saw an ESPN piece featuring Watt this past season and he was signing his own praises a little too much for my liking. Oh well, better an ultra-confident white player than the opposite...

My hope is that Bill O'Brien finally wises up and begins to mold his offense after New England, where he had much success. I'd love to see Watt win the Superbowl one day.

I agree I don't like arrogance, even from White players, but it's still better than the usual alternative of aw shucks. The DWF really are starting to turn on him though .He's developing this image as a bully. And about O'Brien hopefully he drafts Hackenberg and builds something around him

Unbelievable:

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports J.J. Watt re-injured his surgically-repaired back and will be out "an extended period of time," possibly the rest of the season. Watt had back surgery over the offseason, but made it back in time for Week 1 when some thought he'd miss 2-3 games. It's fair to wonder if he pushed himself too hard to get back and did more harm than good. Either way, this is a massive loss for the Texans as a team. Easily the most dominant defensive player in the game, Houston will now have to turn to some replacement-level player. Back injuries are never good, and Watt turned 27 last spring. He even started talking about retirement back in April.

Damn more bad news for a pretty mediocre season thus far.

Two major back injuries, two surgeries. I hope he heals well enough to return to football.

JJ Watt announces his retirement after the conclusion of the 2022 season.

A shame his body broke down as much as it did. He was an absolute force and is having a fantastic year this year as well.

Sad news but he's smart to go out after a very nice season. He was a pleasure to watch during his heyday, as dominant a defensive player as the league has ever seen.

2 more games for JJ. Crazy it’s already time to hang the cleats up.
