one shouldn't be fooled by drogba's header in the champions league final, because the best headers in the world are whites
that's why it's such a shame that bayern munchen let drogba score this goal
amongst the best headers there are players who are very tall like peter crough, van buyten, andy carroll ect ect
but also players of normal height like gabriel heinze, huntelaar, falcao (who's not white but not black either)
mexico, ironically (because most mexicans are very short), had some very good headers like guillermo franco (who is argentinean and of scandinavian origin) or borghetti:

i remember that guillermo franco totally dominated the french black defenders in the aerial balls during the 2010 world cup

I wasn't sure where to put this - a great field goal by Sergio Ramos in Philadelphia:

great acrobatic goal by jean pierre papin for the french national team:

with, ofcourse, the legendary thierry roland as a commentator with larqué  (roland died this year)

papin scored so many goals like this one that in france scoring in an acrobatic way was called a "papinade" in reference to him

he is a legendary olypique de marseille player, from the time when they were dominating french football:
http://youtu.be/OgTMXQ2mtfA

he is by far the best french striker from the modern era (because before there was just fontaine) he is miles ahead of thiery henry, even though henry beat his record for the most goals scored in champions league by a french player
papin had a goal per match average of 0.68, henry 0.46

he was top scorer of the french league 5 times in a row, and top scorer of champions league 3 times in a row
he won the golden ball in 1991

i have a DVD about him, where they say how powerfull and quick he was
unlike henry, he was small in height and he never did athletics, but he was a lot faster than henry, the kind of speed that is usefull in soccer (because the penalty area is small so there is no point in being quick at 100 metres, unless ofcourse you take athletes like henry to turn them into soccer players like we do in france now, and in england i suspect)
you could see on his face how explosive he was
he was small but he was a good header and could jump very high, unlike henry who was worthless on the aerial balls, like most black players

he's from the north of france and his name is another way to write "pepin" which is a germanic name that the frank's king sometimes had: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pepin_the_Short

his headed pass for waddle when marseille beat ac milan in champions league:

legendary goal for marseile, when they had a great team, very different from the senegalese players they have now
they also had francescoli and many other stars

a great volley: http://youtu.be/T65Bme7Ic2Y

he was also known for his very powerfull and precise shot: http://youtu.be/S21uxXCxcLI (just after the goal you get to see a younger arsene wenger, who was coaching monaco)

aguinaga's goal against brazil:

thanks to this goal ecuador led 1-0in brazil in the 2002 world cup qualifiers
with anything other than a victory, brazil wouldn't have qualified for the 2002 world cup
eventually the won 3-2, qualified for the 2002 world cup and won it

what a huge upset it would have been...

incredible goal by schevchenko against juventus, scored in 2001:

one of the most beautiful goals ever scored in milan
the goal is beautiful, and it was scored against buffon (one of the best keepers in the world) and against juventus' defence, said to be one of the strongest of that time

there was a little controversy because this goal looked so incredible that it was thought to be unintentional

the way shevshenko rotates his torso makes it look like he wanted to cross
but it's how shevshenko shoots
you'll find the exact same way of shooting in this video a 1 minute and in the replay: http://youtu.be/RdeUvpU8D8k

schevchenko said that he saw that buffon was a little bit outside of his goal and that he decided to shoot instead of crossing because there was nobody to cross the ball to
http://ricerca.repubblica.it/repubb...12/10/sheva-bravo-ed-onesto-ho-tirato-li.html

it's incredible by the way how fast top players make decisions like this during matches
messi in barcelona plays with players that he knows very well and he doesn't even need to look around to know where they are
(i won't even compare it with what balotelli did against spain at the last euro champs :icon_lol:)

messi scores free-kicks now:

this one yesterday against paraguay in qualifying match for the 2014 world cup:

he hit the post on another free-kick too

and this one a week ago against real madrid in the "supercup":

http://youtu.be/zoLlW1tdIos

casillas was blamed for placing his wall badly

but ronaldo still has the most spectacular shots: http://youtu.be/K33bxlq37SY

beckham's free kick against greece for the beauty of the goal and the pressure:

A classic moment when England captain David Beckham scores with a sensational 30-yard free kick, three minutes into injury-time.

Because Germany only drew with Finland, the goal means England automatically qualified for the2002 World Cup finals.

Here's a compilation of a few goals scored by Keith Weller (plus some dribbling sequences) during his time with Leicester City in the 1970s...

That just wasn't entertaining. What they needed back then was Africans and Brazilians.

There are five goals in the following package but what I wish to show everyone is the lead up to Manchester City's equaliser. At about 1:33 Francis Lee drags the ball back, almost stopping it dead before smoothly rolling it between two defenders to find Rodney Marsh. Marsh passes it to Mike Summerbee, who scores with a very well-placed shot.

COVENTRY CITY vs MANCHESTER CITY - First Division, 14th October, 1972:

No blacks, no Brazilians, no Argentines, no "Kick It Out" bull**** - just top-class football featuring White, British players.

What a contrast between the Manchester City of 1972 and the Manchester City of 2012, eh?

It's a shame what happened. I would have liked to see London back in '72. That city doesn't even exist now.

I am watching Southampton play and they just had 2 black substitutes go in , one a Brazilian and one a Zambian.

I put the match on just a couple of minutes before this goal. I thought the most impressive thing was the way Van Persie controls it so beautifully - it was the kind of touch you dream of. Yet the commentator barely mentioned it. He just kept going on about the pass, which while good would not normally (at least 9 times out of 10) have been controlled by the forward running onto it, so for my money it was the control that deserved most praise.
