Scorpion kick

I can't tell if that guy is white or mestizo, but it is a good goal.

my favourite goal from luis figo
it's not the most important of his career, but this goal shows why he was one of the best in the world from 1997 to 2001

i don't know if he is still part of the players that could be in the english team for the euro champs this year, but this incredible goal against manchester city should help him to be called

That first touch to control the ball was sensational.

I wonder if ESPN showed that on their plays of the day.

Aleksandr Kerzhakov masterpiece goal in a recent Russian Premier League match:

Excellent strike and before that he manages to confuse the defenders.

He is doing quite well and has helped reinvigorate Zenit's season - they are now almost certain to win the title, as they have an 11-point lead over CSKA Moscow.

Arshavin has been a starter in most matches, but the St. Petersburg team are well-stocked in midfield (Denisov, Zyrianov, Bystrov, Huszti, etc.), so he does not always play the full 90 minutes.

Most importantly he seems to be in a good mood (has rediscovered his joy for the game) and once again appears to possess confidence in his own abilities.

I hope that he will stay with them during the 2012/2013 Champions League season.

Top goals in England 1973. Some incredible passing in these. Also, a great nostalgic look at the way England was and should be. The goal at 3:15 is a great one.

you mean at 1.15 min

incredible how fast things have changed

Europe - great goals package, mate. Those were the days, eh? All-White teams (with a couple of unfortunate exceptions, such as John Charles playing for West Ham in the 1960s), dodgy pitches, proper footballs, classy commentary.

Compare it to the garbage on offer today...

ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI (Borussia Dortmund) vs Bayern Munich - Bundesliga, 11th April 2012:

Check out the replay...

Great choice, Rebajlo! Lewandowski is in top shape, as just a week ago he scored a hat-trick against Bayern Munich to help Dortmund win the DFB-Pokal. Polish fans have every reason to be full of hope for the upcoming European Championship.

I have recently been watching Premier League highlights. These strikes will be among the candidates for goal of the season:

Wayne Rooney (England) bicycle kick:

Papiss Demba Cissé (Senegal) curling effort:

the thing with papiss cisse's goal is that he shot with the outside of his foot , which is strange
he should have shot with the inside of his foot like in this goal from shevshenko:

it was an incredible match by the way, and check out mile acimovic's goal at the end of the video

so his goal seems lucky, but that's also what makes it beautiful

cristiano ronaldo's top 10 goals from this season:

usually i think that the acrobatic goals like this one are over rated, but this one is really tough to score:

by negredo, spanish international

and this one by messi that i already posted but got deleted:

Does this put to rest the "White men can't jump" idea? Huntelaar has some of the best heading skills I've seen: he scores despite getting crashed into by that Black klutz Chris Smalling.
