A couple of days ago one of the Bee Gees died. While I was never a huge fan the band had maybe the biggest selling hit of the 70's with Staying Alive. I recall that dominating the top 40 radio charts for the 70's whenever a historic countdown would be played. Here is the story about Robin Gibb.....http://www.cbc.ca/video/#/News/TV_Shows/The_National/1233408557/ID=2237212813
WIR, you are correct. The Bee Gees prior to their second coming during the disco era, they laid down some great tunes. Aged rocker Alice Cooper, commented once, If I could really write music, the Bee Gees had already did it. The Bee Gees had several great tunes. The Nights on Broadway, Staying Alive, Night Fever, Don't Throw you life away(tribute to youngest brother Andy Gibb who died of an overdose) How deep is your love. They were a great Pop band. RIP Robin.

The Brothers Gibb were/are very talented fellas. I'm no fan of (most all) pop or disco, but those gentlemen pen'd and sang some good songs. BTW, their poor mother (Barbara, age 91) is still alive and had to bury 3 of her 4 boys (she also has a daughter).

FYI, here's 1 of my favorites (when I was a snot nosed tyke in the 70s).

As Dixie said, these fellows composed quality songs. This may come as a shock to everyone, but I'm not a fan of disco or pop either - yet I can definitely listen to a lot of their material...

The following is probably my favourite Bee Gees track:

One of my favorite Elvis songs...written by a teenage Mylon Lefevre (....of the legendary Southern Gospel group the "Singing Lefevres"). Mylon later went on to be a pioneer in Christian Rock.

That's an awesome song from a great French music group, a true masterpiece of art in my opinion. The video is awesome too, a bunch of white kids, just like our new generation should be in an ideal Europe, USA, Canada and Australia.
Good call there are no Negroes, non white Arabs, non white Latinos or any other inferior kind of subhumans.

Jerusalem, the unofficial anthem of England

And did those feet in ancient time.
Walk upon England's mountains green:
And was the holy Lamb of God,
On England's pleasant pastures seen!

And did the Countenance Divine,
Shine forth upon our clouded hills?
And was Jerusalem builded here,
Among these dark Satanic Mills?

Bring me my Bow of burning gold;
Bring me my Arrows of desire:
Bring me my Spear: O clouds unfold!
Bring me my Chariot of fire!

I will not cease from Mental Fight,
Nor shall my Sword sleep in my hand:
Till we have built Jerusalem,
In England's green & pleasant Land

Zeus -

Well, it's not exactly the proverbial rocket science, is it? Simply click on the "Insert Video" icon (fifth from the right) and paste in the video's link.

Here's an example just for you:

The "English" Premier League season is about to kick off so let's inject some much-needed Englishness into proceedings with a bit of Anglo-Saxon folk metal:
