Broncos let go of Wilson and now Cushenberry. They currently have 11 white starters in addition to Moss, Henningsen, and Sanders rotating in on defense.
looks like the Bronco's are allowing more of the TRUE upsiders to start on the field, things are really looking up for this team, wonder if they'll make it to the playoff's

Is there any hope that the Broncos will choose a white QB with Russell Wilson's release from Bronco's, or would that break the ESG mould that all NFL teams have to fit into or get fined a lot?
They already have Jarrett Stidham on the roster, who Sean Payton likes a lot. They may still draft one though.

I've been hearing Bo Nix to Denver because of the Drew Brees comp. It's pretty lazy but I get the idea behind it. I don't think JJ is falling to Denver unless they trade up, lots of speculation that McCarthy will be off the board at pick 5 via trade with the Chargers and it's unlikely they'd hand a division rival that pick. So Bo Nix or Penix are both possibilities, hopefully the former.

Broncos could end up being a good team for us this year! If we get a white QB, Riley Moss plays, maybe some TEs, other front 7 guys retain starting positions, and if I recall there’s that former chargers slot guy at WR.

Great signing for the broncos. Barton is severely underrated. I don’t think they miss a beat losing Jewell while at the same time the Panthers gain a very good starter. A rare win-win in the Caste NFL.

Now I'm just waiting for Stidham to become the starting QB and this team will be a forum favourite!

Great example of doublespeak here: "Despite fielding Alex Singleton and Josey Jewell as their starting linebackers for the past couple of years, the Denver Broncos have had a significant need to bolster their linebacker room for a long time. Drew Sanders is a young option who is still learning the ropes of playing the position after transitioning from playing the edge. However, his positional future is still up in the air after some remarks from George Paton at the NFL Scouting Combine about him ending up as an edge."

So even though Jewell and Singleton were an amazing dynamic duo of tackling machines unparalleled in the league, the Broncos had a "significant need to bolster" the position even while Jewell and Singleton were starting and dominating. Ok, whatever, nothing to see here, move along. . .

Ah the perpetual myth that any position with too many goys, can magically improve with more affleticism and dat upside.

Some possible good news as Sanders has a chance to play as early as Week 5 if his rehab goes well:

Broncos placed LB Drew Sanders (Achilles) on the active/PUP list.
The report comes from NBC Houston’s Aaron Wilson, who notes the Broncos also moved S Caden Stearns (patellar tendon) and S Delarrin Turner-Yell (ACL) to the active/PUP list. Sanders ruptured his Achilles tendon in late April. Initial reports suggested the team was hopeful he could return before the 2024 season ends. His move to the active/PUP list, rather than the reserve/PUP list, is a positive step in this regard. Should he remain on the active/PUP list entering the regular season, he will be eligible to return against the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 5.
