Good for BC they should be all over underrated prospects like McStravik! Also get back to basics and play a white QB. This program had success with Flutie andRyan they'd be smart to replicate the past!

Northwestern picks up a very intriguing prospect in 3-star 6'5", 225lb "Superback", Eric Eshoo.

"Eshoo is the first superback in Northwestern's class. He played last season at 200 pounds but has since added 25 pounds to his 6-foot-5 frame. He runs a 4.6 40-yard dash. He chose Northwestern over fellow finalist Illinois, the only other BCS program on his 11-school offer list."

Only two BCS programs wanted a high character, intelligent, very athletic 3-star prospect that is 6'5", 225lbs with a 4.6/40? Simply amazing.

One position that continues to flex it's muscles is at Tight End...Even the recruiting services cannot turn a blind-eye to all of the talent! With Gronk & co. handling business in the NFL...at least this position still looks bright for the future!

Consensus is the TOP 3 TE's are (#1)Isaac Nauta 6'-4" 240 (Florida State commit/thread made of him already)...who at Summer Camps has the look of a future college star & even the NFL!

And.... (#2) Kaden Smith 6'-5" 233 (Stanford Commit over Alabama)...check out his video Dunking a 16 lb shot-put!

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...den-smith-effortlessly-dunk-16-pound-shot-put

#3...Jake Hausmann...to Ohio State

Others to watch...
Luke Farrell...uncommitted
Charlie Woerner...uncommitted
Gabe Angel...to Ole Miss
Landon Rice...to Auburn
Miller Forristall...to Alabama
Mark Birmingham...to Duke
Cary Angeline...(6'-7") ..(Penn State? or Notre Dame ?)

According to 24/7 sports.com...10 of the Top 17 TE Prospects for Class of 16' are white

BTW...Thanks for all of the research...interesting to see just how many quality RB's get purged at the HS level due to their melanin deficiency. Years ago RB-Mark Harris from Florida committed to Wake Forest...his Dad found out first-hand the uphill climb his son faced during the recruiting process!

Jamison Chapman

Jamison Chapman (Dillon, SC) posted the top overall Sparq score (110.49) at the Charlotte Nike Combine on May 9th. while not blessed with break-away top-end speed (4.63 in the 40), he has good short area quickness (4.20 in the shuttle) and is explosive (41.7-inch vertical leap).

Jamison%20Chapman_zpsq5cid2gp.jpg

on the football field, Chapman was part of a two-back rotation that helped lead Dillon to its third-straight State Championship, going undefeated (14-0) for the first time in school history. he was the team's most versatile running back, rushing for 892 yards (7.2 per-carry avg.) and 13 touchdowns and catching 17 balls for 223 yards (13.7 avg.) and 3 more touchdowns. he didn't have a single fumble on the year.

he has no offers.

Caden Voges

6vzMnLab.jpeg

unless it is a misprint, dual-threat quarterback Caden Voges (Sacramento High, CA) ran the fastest time in the 40 at the Opening Combine in Oakland on May 17th.

according to their website, he ran a sizzling 4.25!!! wow!

known more for his passing ability, Voges (5-foot-11, 162 pounds) has thrown for over 8,000 yards and more than 100 touchdowns over his last two seasons. as a sophomore in 2013, he threw for 4,351 yards and 48 touchdowns (with 24 interceptions) which was tops for any sophomore in the nation. he followed that up last year as a junior with 4,294 yards and 56 touchdowns with only 11 interceptions. those numbers were good for #8 nationwide.

he's also ran for 898 yards and 17 touchdowns over the two seasons, but clearly prefers to throw the ball based on his highlights, which you can see here: https://tape.preps.com/h/ca/sacrame...voges/sophomore-year-2013-25-clips/129241385/

and just to showcase his all-around athletic ability, he batted over .500 on the year for his high school baseball team.

if that speed is accurate, it will be interesting to see if a position change is in order at the next level for the undersized-but-incredibly effective Voges.

of course, he currently has no offers and is ranked as a 0-star prospect.

********************************

i'm guessing the reason why so many of these young White athletes aren't getting offered, is because they lack "dat upside."

after all, "clearly" the baby-faced Voges,

doesn't have any physical maturation left ... meanwhile, affletes like the 30-year-old-looking Tre Bryant (3-star running back at 5-foot-9.5, 198-pounds, 4.53 in the 40; 11 FBS offers as of today),

The outright discrimination is obvious. It seems now that even at all of these corporate sponsored camp the white kids just get ignored because they are white - no matter what they do, how they prove they are better athletes it is all ignore. It's beyond pathetic and has just become downright disturbing and discriminatory.

What's weird is Sac High is a school that is about %5 white. I wonder if he attends it deliberately for a reason....

Great pick up for Nebraska.

Nebraska also got a verbal from the reigning Colorado Defensive Player of the Year today. That would be rangy and versatile LB/S JoJo Domann, who chose Nebraska over offers from Arizona State, Virginia, North Carolina, and Kansas State among others. From watching his highlights, Domann is a great athlete who can cover well in space and is a ball hawk. Nebraska wants him as a defensive athlete (not just an LB or a S) from what I've managed to get so far, which means that they trust him to do a variety of things, like playing coverage as a safety, running with RBs and TEs as a nickelback out in space or coming up to play the run as an LB on early downs. He's 6'1 208 lbs right now, and might grow a little more yet. Even the scouting services have called him a fluid athlete with great ball instincts. How many white players do you see with a defensive athlete tag?? This kid is going to be a player for the Cornhuskers!!!

http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-JoJo-Domann-163528

As an aside, I've seen a lot of white DL and LBs already committed this year.

OLB Xander Gagnon just committed to Duke the other day as well.

I noticed Northwestern and Texas Tech have a few white defensive commits already as well.

I'd just like to highlight a few more white friendly classes so far this cycle. I don't know if they'll stay, but as of right now, they're great.

Stanford currently has 10 commits, 7 of which are white! This includes RB Beau Bisharat, top TE Kaden Smith, and a top QB in KJ Costello. Shaw continues the successful formula of recruiting white guys to the Cardinal.

Wisconsin currently has 13 commits, 9 of which are white, including 6 out of the current 8 committed defensive players!!

Nebraska currently has 13 commits, 7 of which are white, including a couple of defenders and a good QB.

Arkansas currently has 10 commits, 5 of which are white, including at DT and a DE very good for an SEC school.

Vanderbilt currently has 6 commits, 4 of which are white, including an RB and a Safety.

Obviously these can change, but good to see some schools still wanting our guys.

You beat me to the punch on this Domann kid. He should really have four stars, but we know why he does not. Great highlight tape. Does "fluidity" count as having "upside"? I get so confused sometimes by these terms ;-)

A more recent site said he's up to 210lbs now. If he has another great year this year, he may see his 4th star.

I think Northwestern has like 14/16 Whites and West Virginia's is pretty decent too, especially considering their recent and not-so-recent history. Boston College looking good as well. So, there'll be a few teams to watch and cheer on.

I personally know Jamison and his family well. Jamison has now received 2 D-1 offers one from Wofford and Garnder Webb. He recently attended East Carolina football camp and showed out. He got clocked at a 4.46 40 an 3.99 in the Pro shuttle and also repped 225 17 times. ECU has been in contact with him as well as 8 other D-1 programs

Well, two of the three "Katy Trio" (ILB Paddy Fisher and S Travis Whillock) chose Northwestern yesterday. The third one, S Collin Wilder, chose Houston. Pretty bizarre choice by Collin to choose Houston over Northwestern. Their goal was to play together on the same team in college like they did at Katy high school.

Outside of Houston's QB, the rest of the team is pure coal. Northwestern had no Safety commit yet before his friend Whillock chose them and Collin could have been their second commit at that position and potentially play alongside one of his best friends. Instead he chose Houston, that already had another Safety commit as well as three CB's, one or two of which could be moved over to Safety as well.

He also had offers from Boston College, Wisconsin, Duke and some others. The only thing I can think of is that he wanted to stay close to home. I hope that decision was worth it. Sometimes White's are their own worst enemy.

Houston actually screwed over John O'Korn last year and replaced him with a black quarterback. Houston hired Ohio states qb coach who worked with three black quarterbacks last year and gives me no hope of starting a white qb during his tenure in Houston.

Northwestern on the other hand is an interesting team to watch. it looks like they are following the stanford recruiting methodology by recruiting actual student athletes.

OLB from Norfolk, Nebraska accepts scholarship offer from Wyoming.

Check out this kid's measurables:
6'4" 235lbs, 4.55/40

http://sports.yahoo.com/wyoming/football/recruiting/player-David-Engelhaupt-167009

Pretty incredible combination of size and speed. Not rated by Rivals, of course. I mean, who would want an OLB with those credentials?

It's amazing that not only traditional powerhouse schools like USC, Notre Dame and Nebraska (since he's in their backyard) have no interest in a prospect like this but that even new FBS schools like Old Dominion will pick the remaining bones of the limited supply of black talent and let prospects like this kid fade away into oblivion when he (and many other players like him) could help them become a force to be reckoned with.

3-star Safety, Drew Jensen, commits to BYU:

http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/recruiting/player-Drew-Jensen-166020

There's also a 4-star Safety from Utah, Maxwell Tooley, that BYU is offering. I'm hoping he either picks BYU or Colorado. Outside of that, there's only a handful of other somewhat major schools vying for his services, all from the West. If he were black the list would be as long as my leg:

Heretic, are those kids Mormon? It bugs me to see the white Mormon kids become draft eligible at 25/26 rather than 21/22.

I'm not sure. I didn't see anything mentioning that. There's probably a good chance they are. Sometimes the paper will say whether they are going on a two year mission before they start school. I don't know if it's mandatory, but I'll guess that it is. I agree, it often adds up to another lost chance for us. However, Sorensen took a two year mission before starting school and he's a backup on the Chiefs...at least for now.

After doing a number of previews you can't tell me there aren't about 40FBS teams that could use any of the athletes above!! Even our athletes with incredible resumes, size, speed, etc get Ignored.
