The more I watch him Wake Forest recruit, Cade Carney may be a stud. He does not have great straight line speed but his agility and power are on par with Christian McCaffrey. One to watch for in a few years. Lets hope he does not get the Lucas Caparelli treatment ( kicked off the team for an email ) or Mike Companaro who played well at rb but was moved to wr.

Justin Rice a large rb who ran for over 2,000 yards last season in a tough league in California is going to Fresno State. Rivals lists him as a linebacker but I just read an article where the coaches have given him the option of playing offense or defense. He has chosen offense though he does face some tough competition. Maybe another Gerhart in the waiting?

One of Stanford's 2016 WR commits, Paxton Segina, is discussed in an interview between a Stanford sports reporter and his high school football coach. Here's an excerpt:

CSR: Despite some video game type statistics, Stanford was the only reported BCS offer for Paxton. Why do you think his recruitment flew so under the radar with some of the bigger schools in Texas?

Sanders: Not sure. I don’t understand the recruiting process at times, why certain guys are five-stars, etc. etc. I just know Paxton couldn’t be stopped 1-on-1 at any time all season. He made a bunch of great catches and is one of the best players I’ve ever coached.

Well, we at CF sure know why...it's just another example in the Caste-world of a White player being discounted because of his race.

I am pretty sure the coach has an idea as to why Segina was not heavily recruited - just does not want to disrupt the caste system by calling it out.

Not expecting much deviation with the NFL Draft as long as the H.S. Recruiting service rankings continues to put out their list.....

A few more DB prospects in 16' than in years past...however the WR crop had a down year...the two positions were nearly reversed in 15'

Class of 16' Recap:
DB's
Brady Breeze....Oregon
Andrew Pryts...Stanford
Seth Currens....Wisconsin
Max Tooley....BYU
Drew Jensen....BYU
Collin Wilder...Houston
Austin Quillen...Vanderbilt
Ty Sponsellor(OLB)...Cincinnati
Dillon Stoner(CB?)...Oklahoma State
Lukas McKenzie...Fresno State
Ben Sukut...Arkansas State
Braxton Gunter...Utah State
Travis Whillock...Northwestern
Mike Palmer...Boston College
Josh Moran...(walk-on) Georgia
Lukas Masterson....Wake Forest

CB Josh Manchigiah ...South Dakota State

Of the few WR's that are in in the Class of 16'.... they are trending taller
6'-5" Charlie Woerner....Georgia
6'-4" Paxton Segina...Stanford
6'-3" Ben Skowronek...Northwestern
6'-4" Matt Laris....Cal
6'-2" Drew Blackman...Virginia
6'-2" Drew Hmielewski...Minnesota

How many of these potential athletes are currently playing baseball or soccer instead??

Of that list above...WHO will step it up & be the next Eric Weddle or Harrison Smith?? Or is there a Walk-on Jordy Nelson-style under-the-radar-athlete lurking on the fringes outside of these recruiting services?? (BTW Nelson was originally a DB going to college) Maybe a Craig Dahl or Reed Doughty from a smaller school?

Wes Welker seemed to have helped pave the way in the slot position...Edelman & co are doing a great job carrying the torch....could Daniel Braverman be next? However in the Class of 16' there is not sub 6'-0 WR in the Top 150 list...just the taller one's 6'-2"+

Nelson is paving the way (& Hartline) as taller vertical threats & Janis can too; when given the opportunity...hopefully Moritz Boehringer will step up next! Eric Decker & Riley Cooper are "tweeners"....eventually they will all need replacing

Oklahoma State brought in a large array of low-IQ, poor impulse control, street bruthas. This was very dark even for an OSU program that hasn't been White-friendly, and they went out of their way to target multiple blacks that were only being recruited by mid majors and FCS schools. They didn't do the same for White athletes.

3 out of 22 are White (Matt Kegel, Tyler Brown and Dillon Stoner). It won't be long before their offense is unable to keep them afloat and they proceed to decline.

Wouldnt call him large at 205 lbs, but it would be cool to see a white guy with long blonde hair running the ball. Haven't seen mamy of them.

Dillon Stoner is listed at WR on the Oklahoma State website. Seems he was never really was rated at CB, given he was listed as the #1 WR prospect in Oklahoma. Wish he would be given the chance at corner, but a #1 WR prospect in Oklahoma he looks set to do some damage.

Better yet when will we see the next John Lynch, arguably one of the best and hard hitting safeties ever?
