I can't help but think about this line...

I wonder if Carolina won't try and make him more of Woodhead type back or even transition him to a slot receiver which IMO he would be the best in the league with his wiggle and vision. Many old time running backs transitioned over to wide receiver and had productive careers at receiver.
Exactly what I was thinking my friend!!! It also doesn’t help that the whole opposing defense keys on him without a decent qb.

I’m extremely down on CMC’s injury status. Unfortunately he seems to have been bitten by the injury bug. I don’t think anything will change in Carolina... that team is a caste hell-hole and sinking fast.

McCaffrey and JJ Watt both started to get injured after getting celebrity girlfriends. For whatever reason, there seems to be a correlation. Maybe nose not to the grindstone like in the past.

McCaffrey needs to get out of Carolina FAST and get a fresh start somewhere. Buffalo is my obvious choice.

I would even guess the sex is mediocre with the Instawench probably obsessed about getting her hair mussed up. Anyway the Jewish guy in the Rocky clips is dead on with his assessment of being p-whipped. I give Rodgers credit his "celebrity" women are probably grateful while the other guys mentioned probably have less frame than a burnt out shell of a house when it comes to their escort girlfriends.

I love that clip! And Mickey calling the autograph groupies a couple of "chicken asses". Hilarious. It brings some humor to what is a very low point in the season with the prominent White RB out and maybe on the way down. I hope not, but like it's been stated he doesn't have the size and frame of a John Riggins. He needs to get out of Carolina and never look back.

A shame about Christian. When he gets healthy he needs to go to a team with a good quarterback. Passing and running games complement each other, and one opens up the other. The same thing is holding back Josh Allen in Buffalo - their lack of a running game is hurting him as a QB.

Buffalo really wood be a fantastic place for CMac to end up at. He has never had a good quarterback to help keep the defenses from stacking the line and box. Josh Allen is one
of the top 5 quarterbacks in the NFL. He is also young so he will be in his prime for another 6 yo 8 years. With that and the cold weather, defenses would have a very hard time
trying to stop a two pronged attack with a balanced ration of runs and passes. We are all probably dreaming but why not dream? Cmac deserves better.

McCaffrey is signed through the '25 season after getting a four-year $64 million extension of his rookie contract so it's not like he can pick a team to go to any time soon. Carolina would have to release him, trade him, or renegotiate his contract to make it of shorter duration for that to happen.

I highly doubt the Panthers are looking at Cam Newton as anything other than a very short-term fix after Sam Darnold was injured (and unfortunately tailed off after a very promising start). If they did, they would have signed him earlier when New England cut him and no other team wanted him for months.

Be interesting to see if Rhule stays put and tries to bulk up Carolina. Or if he's tempted back to the college ranks.

Buffalo has been my prediction for a best-case scenario. Carolina is in a total-rebuild (if you can call it that) mode.

If I were Christian, I would even take less money to play in Buffalo with Allen. The offense would literally be unstoppable.

I agree. Especially with the cold weather and playing outside. Advantage Cmac to the extreme! Also he will be extra motivated to be on a playoff team if they can make
this trade happen!

I agree with you Warhawk. Take a paycut and become a legend with a likely Super Bowl win. Rhule will probably try and phase him out anyways. Gronk and Christian to the Bills would be a dream come true for all of us castefootballers!

You have no idea how excited I would be to have both McCaffrey and Gronk in Buffalo.

On another note, wonder if JJ Watt is regretting his decision to go with Arizona rather than Buffalo?

Wishing CMAC all the best this season. Praying the injury bug does not strike again. If he is healthy all season, we could be in for something historic. I think Mayfield will keep defenses honest so they don’t key on McCaffrey each play.

Agreed. I hope he focused more on flexibility in his training rather than strength. Mayfield will keep defenses honest. Panthers should be the 2nd best team in the NFC South behind the Bucs.

It's an awful situation that all our eggs are basically in one basket with him at RB. When he went down last year, I was done with football.

Cmac looks refreshed. It had to be killing him to sit on the bench with all the nagging injuries last season. He has the eye of the tiger and I really hope Baker Mayfield wins the starting job. McCaffrey has been on so many
awful teams with all of the pressure on him. This can really open up the field more for alot of big plays. Like Bucky said here is to a healthy and a record breaking season that leads to the nfl playoffs for a change.

Christian has looked very good so far this year despite terrible play calling and lackluster passing game to keep defenses honest.

Concerning to see him on the DNP with a thigh injury today… he has definitely gotten bit by the injury bug.

McCaffrey looked pretty good again today. Although he is strong for his size, there's only so much he can do inside the tackles if he doesn't get a little room to squirt through. Most of the day he was bottled up by no less than 3 OL and at least 1 LB. No one, no matter how good they are going to escape that for any significant yardage, thus he had only 27 yards rushing today on 8 attempts. He did however, finish with 81 yards receiving yards and TD giving him 108 all-purpose yards, and miraculously stayed injury free, I hope.

It is a testament to his greatness that he performs the way he does within the dumpster fire that is Carolina.

I do worry about his health given he has terrible o-line blocking, horrible play-calling and lackluster quarterback play… the defense keys on him alone because Carolina has nothing else. Like you said, he is met by LB and DL in the backfield every carry and the obtuse head coach refuses to get him on the perimeter and in space, choosing instead to run him up the gut each time.

It is almost like Rhule is trying to get him hurt so he can shift the blame for the failure to yield a competitive team in another CMC injury.

McCaffrey is being run into the ground and needs to get out of there. He would be amazing for the Bills and be an immediate upgrade over the RBs they have now.
