Time for another exciting college football season. This year I will post games if there is a three white starter differential for major conferences, and four for smaller ones.

For Thursdays games,

Wisconsin 14, UNLV 5
Memphis 6, Miss St 2
North Texas 7, FIU 2.

I'll have Saturday's games up tomorrow.

Besides the Wisconsin-UNLV tilt, the other two games are only slightly more watchable than Grambling vs. Southern.

Thanks for posting these, referendum! I know a bunch of us look forward to these threads! The Dixie Destroyer family and my wife and I will be watching the first two caste matchups from the relative comfort of the Colonel_Reb living room! Needless to say, I'm looking forward to Saturday!

I'd like to see Jarrett Lee have a good day for LSU, but I want them to lose because of the defense. I'm hoping for a lot of bad things to happen to SEC teams this weekend.

You could probably add Nebraska against Tennessee-Chattanooga, I'm guessing the Husker's 14 white starters is way more than the Mocs will put out.

I'm curious how many points Nebraska will put up on them?

I'm really interested in seeing how Taylor Martinez looks in this game. He was unbelievably awesome last season until he hurt his ankle, and then was amazingly bad, Rex Burkhead looked better at QB and he was just doing wildcat! And it will be a pleasure to watch Burkhead torch T-C's doubtless "affletic" defense.

I'm looking forward to this game as well. What I am interested in seeing is the QB matchup. For TCU, Casey Pachall is the new starter. He is an anomoly in the recruiting world in that he was too visible for the folks at Rivals, et al, to ignore as an outstanding WHITE dual-threat QB. I am really hoping that he outperforms "dynamic" Robert Griffin, who will be thrust upon us as the new Cam Newton if Baylor does even reasonably well this year:

FRIDAY

TCU AT BAYLOR
When: 8 p.m., ESPN
Broadcasters: Joe Tessitore play-by-play, Rod Gilmore analyst
The line: TCU by 6
Why you should watch: TCU routed Baylor 45-10 in last season's meeting in Fort Worth, but don't be shocked if this game unfolds different. Horned Frogs QB Andy Dalton is gone. In his place is sophomore Casey Pachall, a four-star recruit in 2009 who has attempted nine career passes. Pachall is a skilled dual-threat quarterback, but TCU will miss Dalton's steady hand, at least in the early part of the season. Baylor has the edge at quarterback with the dynamic Robert Griffin. He'll get a second chance at TCU's stout defense, which held him to 185 yards of total offense last season, his lowest total of the year.

I just popped over to Yahoo sports to see what the casteon Rivals folks had to say about games this weekend and this is the lead picture. Surprising to see that the only afflete pictured is fittingly from the Criminoles:

It's pretty obvious that WIsconsin is going to maul most of their opponents this year. Their OLine might be the best in the country.
But Russell Wilson will still be treated as the conquering hero, arriving to lead the Badgers to the promised land.

Exactly, even tonight before the game, the whole time was spent talking about Wilson.

If the Badgers win anything this year, it will be all about Wilson and their two RBs. If the Badgers lose, it will be because Wilson isn't getting enough support, if they win, it's because Wilson is the savior. From the way I see it, Russell Wilson will never ever be at fault for the Badgers.

I'm currently watching the Lopers of Nebraska-Kearney annihilate Wayne State. UNK had 350 rushing yards in the first half.

Why am I watching this DII game?

Well, in addition to the amazing Rustin Dring, UNK features a great "Whatever happened to...?" story. After spending two years riding the bench at Northern Arizona, Shad Bride transferred to UNK and he's now back at his natural position of runningback. He just ran for half a dozen yards up the middle. Regular visitors to the high school forum for the past few years will recognize Bride's name and recall his story.
I hope the Lopers tear up D2 this year.

I'm watching the Wisconsin game, and I think my grandmother could get a fifty yard run with this offensive line the badgers have. The all white Wisconsin line is killing the coal black defense of UNLV.

I don't like how Wilson was basically a free agent and able to choose where he wanted to transfer too. He has one year at Wisconsin and he is out. Hopefully he is just a one year anomaly at the QB position in Madison.

Also, I hope Borland bounces back and has a good year.

Senior WR Aaron Plugrad had 3 catches for 53 yards and 2 touchdowns last night for Arizona State. I know he has sub 11 100 meter speed but Ive never seen him play. Maybe a dark horse candidate for the NFL draft.

Also Georgia Tech and Colgate transfer Preston Lyons had 2 carries for 22 yards last night. I dont know what happened to b back Lucas Cox last year but he was supposed to get a good amount of carries for the Yellow Jackets. It seems like Georgia Tech does use a few white ball carriers every few years but they never get a lot of reps.

Lucas Cox is currently trying to make the Falcons as a FB. Isn't that weird? When Dwyer got drafted and he played the B-Back spot, he's considered an RB, but when Cox got signed the following year and played B-Back, he gets turned into a battering ram. Whenever a black guy plays B-Back, it's suddenly an RB position, but when it's a white guy, it's back to the lumbering FB spot. Also, Preston Lyons doesn't start anymore either.

Also, for those of you wondering how Rutger's rushing game faired without Martinek getting a single carry last night against a NC Central Eagles squad, Rutgers carried the ball 41 times for 137 yards, or a blistering 3.3 per carry. Also, "freshman phenom" Savon Huggins, had 10 carries for 32 yards, or 3.2 ypc. Martinek was still involved though from his new FB spot, he had 2 catches for 13 yards.

Well, I'm sure that the DWFs will place the blame on the lack of rushing production at the feet of Martinek, saying that he is just a terrible battering ram and should never be seen outside of the WSTD position. But all is not lost. Rutgers can always move one of those useless white LBs to fullback to get the necessary size. Also, I heard in another thread that Jimmy Chitwood's favorite player, Jatushun Beachum, is available......

Watching the TCU-Baylor game.

I see ESPN has replaced one sideline skirt with another. I guess their previous eye candy got too famous to do brain dead interviews with illiterate affletes. I doubt this one is much better.

Add: How disgusting is it watching all these white "Baptists" cheer for this gang of tribals that they think is "their" team?

TCU's secondary is awful. They might have to start double covering these Baylor recievers. Other than Carderer and Brock nobody on TCU'S defense is looking good.

Riddlewire, I agree with you about team fannery in any location and among any group of Whites. It is worth mentioning that most Baylor students aren't Baptist these days. That goes for half of the faculty and a lot of their fans too. To a lot of people (me included), Baylor is Baptist in name only and presents a very watered down, liberalized version of Christianity to its students. Same way with most other school that are still commonly thought of as being Baptist. Most haven't really been Baptist schools for decades, as the state conventions don't control their governing boards anymore.

This is reminiscent of when you posted about your interest in last year's Bowl Game between Texas A&M and LSU.. and Jordan Jefferson literally had the game of his life! Was is it really a Caste match-up, though, as A&M had "superhuman" - Von Miller - and they obviously have been recruiting like "entrance into the SEC" counted on it...

Likewise, I would not consider last night's game to be a Caste match-up. Aaron Schobel aside, TCU generally recruits "big black guys" for their d-line (for much of yesterday's game, they did absolutely nothing), and we witnessed the zero ball-skill blacks at "their corner position." Especially as the game was going on into the 2nd and 3rd quarters, there were "plays" that could/should have been made.

And, in both instances, the QBs for "our" team were either raw (Ryan Tannehill) or more of an unknown (Pachall). Baylor held the experience advantage here. This loss confirms that Andy Dalton was indeed an above-average college QB that possessed some intangibles, although it may be difficult for him to show it now that he's on the lowly Bungles. No offense meant, FootballDad.

And, to referendum, maybe the first couple weeks of the season should start with just "regular" Week 1 and Week 2 threads? Then, by week 3, when teams' are more seasoned, we could have explicit "Caste matchup" threads. Right now, if we think we can count on unseasoned teams to bring us joy, we are likely setting ourselves up for more pain.

I've watched four college and two high school football games so far.

It wouldn't surprise me if 50% of all the plays this season have been the Inverted Veer. I think every football team in the country must have installed it this Fall.

I hate the spread and all its forms. It's a cancer that is destroying the game of football.
