He still runs it too much and hogs the ball. I know he can break it at any time, but he needs to start getting it to Burkhead more out of the option and the coaches need to use Burkhead out of the "I" more. He isn't going to last half of the season in the Big Ten if he keeps taking some of the punishment at the end of those runs. The three true frosh running backs are all taking reps away from Burkhead, too. Burkhead looked great on that long run he had earlier, quick as always, but looked faster too, more explosive and reading his blocks better than before as well.
