The scam contract is a joke. His production had dropped every year since his rookie season. As others have noted he owns a losing record, has a strong defense propping him up and is an average passing quarterback. Don had a great comparison to Daunte Culpepper who is essentially the same type of player but was actually had pretty good passing ability considering his best years were before all the rule changes transformed the passing game. One scam gets injured running the ball and destroys his knee, he will be a mediocre passing Qb. He isn't a great QB even with two good legs.

Again there is no comparison by the idiotic sports writer to Culpepper to compare with. Just letting the typical afflete babble on about himself.
It gets old hearing about the zone option as a key piece of an offense because the past few seasons show that it doesn't work. It's no surprise scams numbers have dipped since he came into the league because NFL defenses have gotten better each year with figuring out the offense. The sports media is either to dumb or to scared to make that
connection as it doesn't fit the narrative.
