One of the biggest issues I have with this site is that we spend way to much time promoting black athletes, and not enough time promoting our own guys. The black QB thread has has over 700 replies, while the white QB thread has only over 200.
Our message should be about getting the public to be aware of our guys.

I don't think any of us here are promoting black athletes. This thread is essentially for criticizing black QBs as the NFL makes a push to darken the last white position in the NFL. No where else on the internet are you going to find a site that openly criticizes black athletes who get unfairly propped up primarily due to skin color. The members here criticize black athletes in every sub forum - pointing out the hypocrisy and blind affiliation from the media and dwfs of melanin and athleticism being synonymous.

Maybe all the threads for white athletes don't get the same response but we have so many threads dedicated to white athletes on this forum - look at high school recruiting/College FB team write-ups/NFL Team previews/Draft coverage off the top of my head. Those are the forums I am most involved in. Our other members do great work covering NBA/NCAA Basketball, Baseball, Boxing as well. Not to mention the team forums which cover specific white athletes as well.

I agree with Leonardfan in that threads like this are essential. Nowhere in this thread are black athletes "promoted". Threads like this are absolutely necessary to illustrate the subtle (to DWFs) effort to blacken the QB position.

Virtually all of the "top" black QBs being shoved down our throats in college football are a joke. As are most of the NFL offerings. Yet they are still propped up. Primary example being Geno "the retard" Smiff. Oh, and Jameez is going to be a mega-bust, even with his supposed IQ.

Its true he is a rushing threat and in terms of black qb's he's one of the best , but that's like being the skinniest kid at fat camp . The panthers did win their division 2 years in a row but last year they did it with a losing record and newton was only responsible for 5 of their wins . The year before that the panthers had the second best defense in the league in yards and points anchored by luke kuechley. Newton just had to sit back and game manage. The panthers won in of spite of him not because of him. I think they'd be much better off with a real quarterback . I just hope that kuechly goes to another team now that Carolina spent so much money on newton . I'm sick of seeing newton receive all the credit for Luke's hard work

It gets old hearing about the zone option as a key piece of an offense because the past few seasons show that it doesn't work. It's no surprise scams numbers have dipped since he came into the league because NFL defenses have gotten better each year with figuring out the offense. The sports media is either to dumb or to scared to make that

As a Dolphins non-DWF, I was very happy the Jets drafted Geno. I remember calling up some of my Jet fan friends when they drafted this turd in order to rub it in. I'm also happy that Mariota was drafted by the Titans, which would ensure the Jets of at least one more year of terrible quarterbacking by Smiff. Not that our team is any better from a caste standpoint, but to see a black quarterback from a division rival fail, where as our quarterback (a REAL quarterback) continues to improve year after year is always nice to see.
