Huge catch by McCaffrey for a very important first down.

Mitchell is a fine running back, but as we feared and lamented prior - he is splitting carries evenly with the superior McCaffrey.

Really Shanahan outcoaches himself: he takes CMC out of the game just as he is heating up.

Is this to appease the blacks on the team?

Edit: McCaffrey taking it easy with what appears to be a tight calf.

As I mentioned the other day about NFL coaches, very poor clock management by both teams. They need to look at some games pre-Caste System to see how and why the two minute warning at the end of each half used to mean something.

Mitchell foolishly runs out of bounds rather than staying in bounds to run more time off the clock.

What was Armstead doing there on Dak?? He had him dead to rights and sloppy tackling let this game continue.

The relentless pimping for any black coordinator on a good team to get a head coaching job. Something you rarely hear about successful White coordinators.

And more idiotic clock management by the Cowboys, throwing dink and dunk passes from inside their own 10 with less than a minute left. You throw the ball well down the field every play, if one gets picked so what, they're never going to score a TD with short sideline passes.

At any rate, both of today's games turned out well, the first one was a win-win and the 49ers continue to march toward the Super Bowl.

Prescott chokes again. Elliot is done, that offensive line continues to age. Quinn will probably leave to become a head coach. Cowboys window might be closed.

Definitely glad for the outcome. This was easily the best game of the weekend. I'm hoping CMAC is going to be all right for next weekend.

If you look at the sidelines it seems like a lot of coordinator’s are very diverse. The head coach needs some common sense advice from his team.

To a divisional championship has to be the story of the year!!! What a poised individual.

It's bad enough when you see clown plays like the SF RB not knowing to stay in bounds; to me it's even more annoying when coaching staffs are just as dumb. In the first half, the 49ers had 4th and long with something like 2:45 left on the clock and their timeouts left. Instead of punting as quickly as possible they let almost the entire play clock tick away. If they had punted quickly they could have used their timeouts (at least two of them) before the two minute warning and also used the two minute warning as an additional timeout (or let the Cowboys run two or three plays and not use any timeouts before the two minute warning). By not doing so their timeouts came on the other side of the two minute warning, making it less likely they would score if they got the ball back. Greg Olson to his credit was all over it in the booth. It's just basic stuff like that disappearing down the memory hole of a dumbed down NFL that aggravates me.

I hear ya my friend!! I listened to a podcast I think it was trey wingo who went to school with Steve young. In that podcast Brady described how easy it was to play in the nfl now as opposed to the 90’s. I’m in a few whiskey sours deep so I’ll end it at that.
