#3 Purdue is hosting Maryland on FS1. Purdue started 4 Whites plus the big Asian.
Purdue just keeps on winning. They are now 19-1 and still ranked 3rd in the nation. Keep it going guys. They
are one of the funnest teams to watch both talent wise and visually wise.

a player whose name i haven’t seen mentioned is Brandin Podziemski, currently playing for Santa Clara.

a sophomore with a super silly haircut and silky smooth shooting stroke, “Podz” was a highly thought of 4-star recruit coming out of high school in Wisconsin. (he was both the Wisconsin Mr. Basketball and Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior after averaging over 36 ppg, 10 rpg, 5 apg, and 4 steals en route to becoming the first-ever kid to go over 2,000 points in just three varsity seasons in the state.) but he signed with Illinois and was promptly buried at the end of the bench.

now after transferring, the 6-foot-5 shooting guard has emerged as an all-around playmaker for the Broncos.

despite being a “below the rim athlete,” Podz is among the West Coast Conference’s top scorers (over 18 ppg), top rebounders (over 8 rpg), passers (over 3 apg), and defenders (2 steals per contest). his bread is buttered by his perimeter excellence, however; he shoots over 40% from deep.

a lot of Santa Clara’s games come on late at night, but he’s worth staying up to see.

incidentally, Parker Braun plays for the Broncos. if that name seems familiar, it’s because the 6-foot-10 shot blocker is the brother of former KU player Christian Braun.

i think this interaction between PJ Hall and Devion Smith is an example of that “White supremacy” i’ve been hearing so much about ...

(Ben Middlebrooks provides more evidence of the “White privilege” oppression, as well.)

I was wondering what happened to him! Glad the move out west is working out for him! Also nice to see another Braun!

The blacks should be thankful that “white men can’t jump” otherwise they’d really be in trouble.

PJ Hall is really coming on of late. Tyson Hunter averaging a double double on the season. 15/10 is not too shabby!

Great optics!

I was watching Xavier vs UConn earlier. Very pleasant game to watch.

Just turned over to Wisconsin vs Maryland. Essegian already has 9pts!

Bummer I was way off on this hiring. Thought Will Ryan was a great hire for UW Green Bay. Things didn’t get close to working out for him. He did bring in some promising pale faced recruits past two seasons. But expect another roster shake up.

Both Purdue and Arizona won tonight. Purdue is the Number 1 Ranked Team in the NCAA and hopefully
the Arizona Wildcats who are ranked number 6 will now move back up to the top 5! To

To have 2 White Friendly Teams in the Top 5 is Awesome! March Madness will be here before you know it!

some cats we haven’t talked about much (or at all) this year had BIG days today:

Marquette sophomore point guard Tyler Kolek had a MONSTER game as the Golden Eagles dismantled DePaul, nearly ending up with a triple double. Kolek finished with 24 points (9-14 shooting), 9 rebounds, and 10 assists. he also chipped in 3 steals. the only blemish on his day was 4 turnovers over his 36 minutes.

**************

Oklahoma had a HUGE upset today over #2 Alabama, thanks in large part to the contributions of Tanner Groves. the super senior had game-highs of 12 rebounds and 3 blocks, while also scoring a hyper-efficient 14 points (on 5-7 shooting).

additionally, the Bama all-Black Tide will likely be having whitemares as they sleep tonight after getting dunked on repeatedly by long and bouncy OU reserve junior Sam Godwin. dude put more black faces on a poster than a police lineup.

**************

speaking of upsets, West Virginia knocked off #15 Auburn behind an offensive explosion from senior shooting guard Erik Stevenson. the only White player “good enough” to play for head coach Bob Huggins, Stevenson is WVU’s leading scorer on the season. today he went OFF! Stevenson scored a career-high 31 points (10 of 17 shooting), including 7 threes in 38 minutes. he was also second on the team with both 6 rebounds and 3 assists.

**************

Ryan Kalkbrenner is rounding back into shape after returning from injury, and his play was a large part of why Creighton knocked off #13 Xavier today. the big man played big, finishing with a game-high 5 blocks and chipping in 8 rebounds and an ultra-efficient 17 points (on 8-9 shooting). big guard Baylor Sheierman also played well for the Bluejays, totaling 14 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists but with 4 turnovers.

for the Musketeers, their big guys played well, especially Zach Freemantle (18 points on 8-11 shooting). shooting guard Adam Kunkel chipped in with a team-high 7 rebounds and 13 points (on 6-9 shooting), but it wasn’t enough to get the win.

Good updates. Stevenson and Godwin were 2 White athletes I was unaware of. Nice to know, especially as March Madness approaches.

if you’re staying up late, you might want to turn on espn ... Arizona’s Toubelis is lighting up the joint. he’s got 27 points (10-14 shooting) IN THE FIRST HALF! dude has been unguardable in the contest with Oregon. (i’m confident white lightning is excited, for sure.)

**************

anyone else enjoy watching Caitlin Clark play for the Iowa Lady Hawkeyes? she’s a monster.

It was an epic game. Tubelis is NBA Ready if he leaves for the NBA Draft his stock has to be pretty high. Not sure if he will come back for his senior year or leave now. He is just flat out dominant.

Purdue won easy and Gonzage has a nice lead with about 7 minutes left. Most of our teams we like are playing great with March Madness
right around the corner.

Paul Mulcahy scored all 17 of his points in the second half as Rutgers surged to beat Michigan State in Madison Square Garden today 61-55. It was satisfying to see him demanding the ball in his hands.

Cam Spencer added 7 and 5 for Rutgers despite cold shooting. He's been a great up-transfer starter for Rutgers this season, coming from Loyola University in Maryland to average 13 ppg. (I guess the scouts missed him in high school) Rutgers also plays two white bigs off the bench in limited minutes.

Virginia Tech got 22-5-2 from Sean Pedulla, 14-4-4 from Grant Basile, and 10-4-2 from Hunter Cattoor today as the Hokies beat #6 Virginia at home to keep their tourney hopes alive.

LOTS of strong performances today from our guys. i don’t have time to share them tonight, but i’ll get a recap up tomorrow (of the stuff that isnt already posted about by others) if real life doesn’t interfere.

by the way, Erik Stevenson is in the midst of another offensive explosion for West Virginia this evening ... already has 31 points.

Fantastic comeback win for #18 Saint Mary's to knock off #12 Gonzaga in overtime. The announcers were amazingly-complimentary to star freshman point guard Aidan Mahaney, who finished with 18 points after starting the first half cold. The color guy even declared he'd be playing in the NBA someday! The Gaels played five whites for most of their rotations, whereas the Zags played only the indefatigable Drew Timme for most of theirs. Saint Mary's is now 10-0 in the WCC; Gonzaga at 8-2 is in danger of missing a conference title for the first time in a decade.

#1 Purdue lost a hard fought battle with #21 Indiana, and the Hoosiers’ only two gym rats proves pivotal. Trey Galloway(11 points on 4-8 shooting) and Miller Kopp (6 points on 2-3 shooting) played mistake-free offensively and lockdown defensively (5 steals and only 1 turnover between them). neither are superstars, but both players are the kind of solid performers that help you win big games.

for Purdue, Edey was a monster: 33 points (on 15-19 shooting), 18 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 blocks in 32 minutes. he did have 5 turnovers. at this point, he has to be a lock for national PoY.

***************

Tubelis continues to dominate for Arizona, with game-highs of 18 points (6-10 shooting) and 8 rebounds. he’s so good, that it’s become routine for him to do stuff like this.

***************

Virginia Tech’s 3 White starters all played outstanding basketball in their upset win over #6 Virginia. Pedulla led the way with a game-high 22 (6-13 shooting), with Basile chipping in 14 (6-10 shooting) and Cattoor adding 10 (3-10). each had 4 or more rebounds, as well.

**************

Jaime Jaquez skinned the Cougars of Washington State, going for game-highs of 24 points (9-17 shooting) and 15 rebounds in a win.

**************

in an ugly, low scoring affair, Tyler Kolek led #13Marquette to a win. he finished with a team-high of 13 points (4-10 shooting) and a game-high 8 assists. he did have 3 turnovers, however.

************

in his second-consecutive game without his front court mate playing alongside him, Jack Nunge carried #16 Xavier. the stretch four scored a game-high 21, including a game-high 4 (out of 5) three-pointers. he also chipped in a game-high 6 assists and 1 block with only 2 turnovers.

**************

#20 Clemson dropped a close one to #24 Miami, but it wasn’t because of the Tigers all-White frontline. the trio of Hall, Tyson, and Schieffelin went a combined 14-22 from the floor for 35 points, 17 rebounds, 4 assists, a steal, and 2 blocks with only 4 combined turnovers in 82 minutes. unfortunately for their cause, their much-more-hyped blackcourt mates laid an egg.

***************

Erik Stevenson set a career-high in scoring last week then topped it last night. he scored 34 (13-23 shooting) but only played 10 minutes in the second half, as WVU routed Oklahoma.

*************

Ryan Kalkbrenner is back to himself. he was quietly efficient and dominating in Creighton’s win: 16 points (7-11 shooting), 5 rebounds, 3 blocks, and only 1 turnover in 38 minutes.

**************

Grant Nelson put on quite a show, albeit in another NDSU loss. the 6-foot-11 point forward filled the stat sheet with 27 points (on a superbly efficient 10-13 shooting) and a whopping 15 rebounds!

*************

Matthew Mayer is a guy i’ve talked about quite a bit in the past, but the former Baylor super-sub has now transferred to Illinois where he is probably their mvp. he kept the Illini in it against Iowa in the first half yesterday, and his defense was on display the entire game despite the loss to the Hawkeyes. at 6-foot-9, he routinely runs the point for them and usually guards the other team’s best player. over his last 3 games, he’s gone for 26, 16, and 21 while playing lockdown defense and hauling in more than his share of rebounds. he could play on my team anytime.
