2019 NFL Week 8

Vitale given proper credit for his battering ram abilities on the 1yard touchdown run by the Packer afflete.

Dean Lowry was ranked 93rd out of 114 edge rushers per PFF. How the hell do the measure that? Its certainly not the eye test!

Fantastic route adjustment by Travis Kelce on the touchdown pass by Matt Moore.

Highlights of Kupp’s 220-yard day. Wow, what a player. It was cool that the game was played on “Cuck Island” (England), which hopefully inspired a few white British kids in their future athletic pursuits...

Thrashen, everytime you post a video, when I attempt to play it, I get "Video unavailable!" Are other CFers getting this?

On mine when I get this I just click on "watch on youtube" and you get the video.

NBCs FNIA never fails with their weekly scoop of BS on the day of football...

According to Dungy, Winston got it back on track this week... he threw 300 yards, 2 tds, but ol tony forgot to mention Winston also threw 2 ints and fumbled three times!!

According to Chris Simms, not Gardner Minshew but Fournette is the Jags mvp... Fournette ran 19 times for 79 yards. Sounds like a solid day, until you notice that 66 of those yards came on 1 carry.... so minus the big run, mvp managed 13 yards on 18 touches.... sure enough, you can break down every game similarly. Fournette is easily the most overrated RB in the league.

Ol boy Rodney felt the need to point out some phantom mistake made by Matt Milano, that led to a 20 yard run... fair enough, but it would have also been nice to mention Milano’s 13 tackles, 3 for loss, just for the sake of appearing objective...

Later, the entire panel then agreed Cam will get his job back and ‘right this ship’ ....

We all know these ‘experts’ are given marching orders, but they never used to make it so obvious..

Even though Scam has lost his last 9 starts, somehow they are confident he will right the ship. Most likely, just the opposite will happen.

Looking more and more like Nagy is the problem in Chicago...

Dungy still grinding the ax with the Pats: claims offense doing “just enough”... ok tony, maybe they should bring in Shaun King...

Damn horrible news jj watt headed to IR with torn pecs...

Am I the only that noticed this but Daniel Sorensen reintegrated the cornerback position in the NFL as he was listed as a starting cornerback during the pregame introductions.

Finally The Bengals have decided to end Erickson's racial apprenticeship and throw him the damn ball. Very explosive athlete and he's had massive break out weeks back to back.

don’t get too carried away ... of Erickson’s 6 catches (and 7 targets) and 97 yards, 3 catches (on 3 targets) and 81 yards came on the final Bengals possession of the game.

perhaps, if the Bungles truly thought of Erickson as a legitimate target, they should start looking his way before the game was virtually over. the results from the last couple of weeks certainly suggest that they should.

i noticed that, as well. his coverage on the incredible catch by Kumerow was certainly superb. perhaps Sorenson should play corner full time, because he can actually tackle and the “real” affletes for the Chefs certainly aren’t world beaters.

It's great to see that Nagy is starting to feel the heat. I have read alot of comments complaining about the play calling/the offensive system. Trubisky put them in position to win today.

Where’s the rushing attempts? Trubisky had over 400 yards rushing/3TDs last season.... he has 5 rush attempts this season... Nagy is handcuffing him..

Love how black qbs get their own special playbook and their own special plays, but White qbs have to adhere to coach’s philosophy....

I agree with pretty much all of that. Fat Bastard has put together an innovative offense - I begrudgingly admit that. Nagy was the KC Off Coord prior to the Bears job - it's pretty obvious Nagy has ridden the coat tails of Reid to land a job he cannot handle. Nagy's offense is predictable and uncreative - he uses Cohen way too much and still refuses to utilize Shaheen more in the offense.

Rodgers had an incredible throw for a TD. Lancaster had the fumble recovery to setup the score.

All the NFL statistical leaders (passing, rushing, receiving, sacks, kicking, punting) are white for Week 8:

http://www.nfl.com/stats/weeklyleaders

Kicking and punting don’t really count since they are all white every week. And yes, McCaffrey is actually third, but as far as I’m concerned, without the bullsh*t holding call that wiped out his big 40 yard run, he would’ve easily been #1.

It seems to me that unlike past years where we would have a big week by white players followed by one or more week of duds, this year, there are great performances every week. We have a good enough number of white players spread out across the league, both offense and defense, that we are virtually guaranteed something good happening each week.

This one shows the season leaders at all of the positions. Keep in mind that some players have played 7 games and some have played 8 games.
Cooper Kupp is 2nd in the NFL in Receiving Yards. Christian McCaffrey is 4th in rushing but has 1 less game played in than the 1 & 2 guys.
Jared Goff is leading the NFL in passing yards and all 5 top guys are having great years! Blake Martinez is leading the NFL in tackles and 3 of the top 5 guys are white.

Heckuva game by Kupp. They did shut him down a bit early though. I'm interested to see what occurs next week. I wonder if they'll go away from throwing the ball to him. When I was a HS boy and played my coach always said "we're going to find a play that works and keep doing it until they stop us. Then we'll do something else." We know throwing the football to Kupp is a good thing. But we don't know if they'll keep doing it these days.

It's a shame Thielen has missed a few games. We could have had 2 of our guys possibly in the NFL Top 5 Receiving List. For the numbers we have that is pretty impressive.

I'll take it though JC! Erickson is having the best season in his career. He's up to 343yds and 25catches for a healthy 13.7ypc. If he keeps this up he should be in the 700-800yd range by season's end. Now here's to hoping he finds the end zone in next week's game!

What a game by Aaron Rodgers. Suddenly he's back to his old self with Davante Adams on the shelf..

Was really impressed by Matt Moore. Went out there toe to toe with a HOF QB and almost pulled out the victory.

Yea it's almost like Alabama when they trotted Mac Jones out and he was just as good as the melanin infused starter.
