2019 NFL Week 8

Kupp’s terrific day appears to be over, as the Rams have only targeted him once over their last four possessions. the resulting total over those four drives? zero points and only four first downs.
 
To give credit where credit is due, on the Bengals side we had 2 of our guys play good. T.Eiffert with 5 catches for 60 yards and A.Erickson with 6-97 yards. I know the
Bengals are having an awful year but these guys can play. Too bad they didn't get the ball to them more.

I blinked and Zach Zenner became a Cardinal with a 13 yard reception today and only 1 damn carry for a goose egg.
 
Glad to see the Jags win. Need to keep pace with the lucky rather than good Colts. The Titans look like they are going to win as well. Minshew is the best rookie QB followed by Daniel Jones after this week.

We've seen this movie before. A white player has a great first half. In the second half he gets ignored...

"Jets look terrible again as Sam Darnold concerns grow" That's an early headline of an article already in the NYPost. They're concerned about Darnold, but they have nothing to say about the Swiss cheese OLine in front of him. As soon as he get's the ball, the DLinemen are on him. Not a second to look anywhere and it's the White QBs fault.
 
Panthers, Kyle Allen throws his first INT. SF 21-3.
Carolina defense looks horrible, except for Kuechly INT.
If this turns out ugly, look for Cam to be back as the starting QB. Whitey only allowed one mistake.

Darnold is far from the problem. They have no team around him. Gase did some solid things in Miami when he got some control over player personnel.

Another stupid call by a ref for holding takes away a huge run by McCaffrey. You really can't make this stuff up. Unbeliveable!

I hope Scam does come back and the season goes down the toilet. He is clearly done - the offense does not gel with him on the field so it would cause alot of tension with the fans/organization.

This is another movie we've seen before. A white player has a long gain. It gets called back by a ref on a questionable call...

If we didn't know already that the league is full-on caste, if sCam is given the reins over Allen after this one game then no one can deny the shortest leashes on the face of the Earth are given to White players.

….terrible game so far for the Panthers. Penalties, dropped kick off return pinning Carolina on the nine yard line, and one receiver tripped over his own feet or turf monster. I'll have to say on that holding call, the camera stayed on the black offensive lineman for quite awhile.

Right BFU. Never mind all the bone headed mistakes black players have made in this game already.
 
Edelman scores and the camera immediately pans to Joe Schobert (the only white defender). He was wearing long sleeves, so they zoomed in on his face so closely that you couldn’t even see his face mask.

Granted, it was his fault (a rare occurrence), but this “blame-the-only-white-player” routine seemingly happens every game, particularly those in prime time.
 
I have to say, NE’s defense through the first half of the season is the best unit I’ve seen in my lifetime.

I’m really glad they traded Micheal “Malcontent” Bennett this week, which should allow John Simon to play more snaps. Winovich is a slightly undersized rookie who will hopefully get more PT as the season progresses.
 
I see Burkhead is playing. Hopefully, he can remain injury-free and establish a prominent role in the 2nd half of the season.
