Here is my official draft watch list for our guys. The total list is about 100 players or so. As we have all noticed here the NFL does not go above the 25% mark in drafting white athletes so undoubtedly several of these guys will go undrafted. I reviewed 4 different website positional draft rankings and the Shrine Game/Senior Bowl rosters as well as through some players in I remembered reading about over the course of the season. I am sure I missed some especially on the OL/TE.

Overall it is not a bad looking class - really solid QB depth, sleepers at RB (although they are already being ignored), TE and the OL are both strong with quality and depth. Due to the past few years it is hard to get really excited for the WR position as we have seen white players drafted and discarded without being given any sort of chance. It is a quality group of players. On defense we could see a decent number of guys get drafted - DE looks to be pretty strong. My guess is only half of the LBs I have listed get drafted and we will get the BS excuse that the NFL doesn't value LBs like they used to. Their are alot of great LBs in this class who would improve several teams pathetic LB corps in the NFL. I feel we may actually see a few DBs drafted - Johnson is my big sleeper this year - long and rangy - hopefully he garners a combine invite. I didn't count Rapp as white since he is half-chinese.

Excellent and comprehensive list Leo fan.

I too have S Chris Johnson as a sleeper pick. Liked what I saw in his short stint in an all star game.

I have two other sleeper picks. Bowling Green WR Scott Miller who I posted about above and BC KR/PR/WR Michael Walker.

See below a recent interview with Walker, a player currently not on the radar but I believe in targeted draft picks and if a team needs an explosive return man they should look no further than Walker. That is what many late draft round picks should be about.

If the NFL holds true, then only about 50 to 60 of the players on Leonardfans's list will be drafted.

What happened to Cody Thompson? I remember watching highlights of him on CF two or three years ago and he looked super fast. Then he had a serious injury of some kind. What about this past season, why has he slipped so much as far as being an NFL prospect?

Thanks Bucky, Deceptive Speed and Shadowlight. It's always helpful to get input from others.

Shadowlight I totally agree with you on Miller and Walker. I recall you mentioning them here before.

As for Greg Gaines - he should be a 1st/2nd round pick. His poly sumo teammate was something like the 12th overall pick last year and had a wasted season due to injury. The DL to OL conversion has been something going on for quite awhile. I do hope Gaines ends up carving out a Kyle Williams like career. I actually wouldn't mind seeing him line up next to Harrison Phillips in Buffalo. While on the topic of Buffalo - lots of quality white OL, TE and WRs for them to draft and help out Josh Allen.

He suffered a leg injury - i think it was a clean break of his fibula? in 2017. He came back last year slowly but showed improvement as the year went on. He performed well at the Shrine Game so hopefully that will boost his stock.

Andy Isabella is alot like J. Edelman. The kid has some serious wheels. Amazing speed, coordination and he can cut on a dime. That to go along with great hands. The
kid catches everything anywhere near him. I'm excited to see what kind of time he can run at the nfl combine. Hope he can get in the low 4.4's and have a 35 + inch vertical.

word is Isabella ran multiple 4.2s at the senior Bowl. for him, running a 4.4 would be a disappointment. personally, i expect him to be the fastest wideout at the Combine and possibly the fastest athlete overall.

Michael Walker reminds me of Alex Erickson and I see his career going in a similar route. Undrafted, earns spot as a return man, eventually gets a chance to play WR and sticks around. They’re very similar in size, I believe Michael Walker is more explosive though and he is an incredibly consistent return man and probably the most experienced return man in the draft.

Also I’m hoping Lehigh RB/FB Dom Bragalone gets a look in the NFL. He played in one of the all-star games but I’m not sure which one. He had 4324 career rushing yards while only having 757 yards in 2018. He also had over 500 career receiving yards and scored 52 touchdowns throughout his career. If anyone remembers back in high school he recorded the second most rushing yards in a season in history with 4704 (he was 52 yards behind the best season ever).

I’m really really hoping Isabella outruns Marquise Brown from Oklahoma. Brown has been hyped up so much as the next Tyreek Hill, the guy is maybe 165 pounds if he’s lucky and he’s very fast but he just runs straight down the field, unlike Isabella’s ability to run anything. He will likely be selected in the first round but I’d take Isabella before him any day of the week. This stuff happens every year, John Ross 2.0?? Brown is essentially the black version of Scott Miller but Miller is getting completely ignored in the draft process.
If Isabella can outrun him it would stir up a lot of talk about who’s the top slot receiver in the draft.

Another unheralded DB is San Diego State's Parker Baldwin, who's been mentioned before on the site. he will Probably get ignored but may make a camp.

Baldwin won a state title in the 200-meters in Arkansas as a high school junior (he was the only White athlete in the Final). with his speed, big frame, and terrific open-field tackling ability and ballhawking skills, i wouldn’t be surprised if he is selected by a team and then bulked up a bit to become a hybrid safety/linebacker type to help combat more of these base-3-wide offenses that the NFL is moving toward. at the bare minimum, he’s a longtime WSTD.

Here's a very complimentary article/scouting report from the ABC TV affiliate in the Dallas area for Andy Isabella. So it's not from some random DWF site. Seems the writer wants the Cowboys to replace Beasley with Isabella and suggests 2nd round is possible. But did author Patrick Conn do the required research on Andy?

https://www.wfaa.com/article/sports...ella/287-800f04b5-3c40-43ad-85c7-56489747b744

Despite having smaller hands, Isabella catches the ball at a very high rate. He is also a guy that can test a defensive vertically. If the ball is near him, more often than not he will bring it in. Due to lack of size, his catch radius is much smaller and he will have a hard time catching in traffic if he doesn’t create a throwing window during the route.

Isabella doesn’t have another gear, but he is still quick and quite shifty. Alongside Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup, he could add yet another receiver who can stretch a defense. This would help the Cowboys offensively in trying to beat defenses underneath, like how they utilized Beasly, as this is where Isabella excels, along with giving a team a third down chain-moving target.

Should the Cowboys look to take a wide receiver on day two, Andy Isabella should be on their radar. The only issue is that you would probably need to take him with the 58th pick as he is likely a top 75 player in this draft.

DraftTek has a total of 49 whites getting drafted in their 7 round mock. So yup, right there.

Another racial stereotype of white players. They never have a "second gear."

Fantastic research as always LF. Since I don’t really follow college football anymore, this is my go to draft list. It prepares me better than anything the random “draft guru” cucks put out to the masses. Thank you.

I would love to see Buffalo draft Hockenson and Sills for Josh Allen. He needs as many weapons as possible to improve that offense. Though I would not be surprised if Hockeson was targeted by Patriots as the successor for Gronk.

I want the Bills to get either Risner or Jonah Williams on the OL. The Bills could really use this draft to build up every facet of their offense as it is all terrible.

Thank you. It’s funny because over the years there are more and more new self annointed draft experts yet they all spew out the same nonsense.

even in the caste NFL, it surprises me that so little attention is being paid to Bowling Green’s Scottie Miller. i thought the “talent” (sic) “scouts” covet speed, and he can fly (he ran a 10.51 100-meters in high school, if memory serves).

he isn’t just a speed guy, either. he can get open and catch the ball. in his three years of playing time at wideout, he accounted for nearly 3,000 receiving yards and 23 touchdowns, leading his team in receiving each year. he had over 1,100 yards and 9 tds on 71 catches as a senior for a less-than-stellar football team.

the knock on him is that he’s “too small,” (listed at 5-10, 160), yet his darker-hues competition doesn’t seem to have that same knock. *cough* tyreek hill *cough* not surprisingly, he wasn’t highly recruited out of high school, despite his blazing speed (track offers to several Big Ten schools) and high production. i seem to be detecting a pattern here ... what could the common factor be ...

check out his senior year (you might want to mute it):

Hill has the worst case of "heightening" I have seen in recent years. His press bio has him listed at 5'10" but he was measured at the combines at 5'8" and 1/8th, but his girth is a legitimate 185 which is decent for that height and still not too skinny for 5'10". I haven't seen a White player as small as Miller girth wise since maybe Jeff Query who was a gadget player 25 years ago.

I can't seem to recall any Blacks or Polynesian players this small girth wise since about this era but somebody could tell me from this site ,where have you gone Tough John Riggins this boards lonely eyes turn to you.......

Scottie Miller video was great thanks for posting it. What I really liked were his hand checks on the deep sideline passes giving himself at least two yards on each reception.

One of the consistent NFL trends is ignoring "smaller" white WRs come draft time. Down the road I figured Utah's WR/PR Britain Covey at 5'8" 160 would be somehow eliminated and now that he has suffered an ACL tear the lights most certainly have been turned out.

But even white WRs who aren't really tiny like Riley McCarron (5-9 198) are most always ignored come draft time. And given no chances as undrafted free agents either as evidenced to the way the Patriots cut him so rudely after one game, which they won.

Conversely some small black WRs have gotten the red carpet treatment and of course a combine invite to show off their speed. Both Tavon Austin (5-9 170) and John Ross (5'11" 180) lit up the 40 and earned an "unearned" first round draft pick. Both have been monumental flops. These teams that bit on these self promoting clowns should be tar and feathered.

This year's version of the next media darling is WR Marquise Brown who Red Raider alluded to in a post above. At 5'10 170 with explosive speed Brown will be hyped up our rear ends like nobody's business. When reading his glowing scouting reports everyone mentioned his great hands and ability to nab balls in traffic. What are they talking about? Most of his catches were uncontested in the wide open Big 12 where defense isn't even in their dictionary. And his route running is rudimentary which is all that is needed in the Big 12. Run down the field and look for the ball is what is called route running in the Big 12.

Against Texas in the Big 12 Championship game he couldn't catch anything and seemed to me to have hands of stone. I came away unimpressed and I agree with Red Raider that Brown has all the earmarks of becoming the next John Ross who has become so far one of the worst high draft picks in the history of the NFL. But that won't stop the media swooning and girl crush moves that will come raining down on us after he participates in the underwear Olympics.

White WRs who have "baseball like" builds are avoided like the plague come combine time and the last thing the NFL apparently wants is to have multiple white players light up the 40 yard dash clock. So Scott Miller, like Trever Ryen last year, will be ignored come draft time.

Meanwhile get a look at the Rams PR JoJo Natson during the Super Bowl, all 5-7 150 of him. Scrawny by NFL standards either way you slice it. And he cost them a late season game with a horrible fumble. But he remains despite being somewhat awful.

For once I'd like a white player to benefit from a monster measureables at combine. If Isabella runs a sub 4.3 40, what's their excuse for not drafting him high, given his production and credentials?
Last time I remember a white player really helping himself with combine was Adam Archuleta.

Last year Troy Apke, 6-1 200, ran a 4.34 40, jumped 41 inches and had a 4.03 shuttle. Non steroidal look and smooth in everything he did. In my estimation the best pure athlete from last year's draft.

Backrow, I think you just momentarily forgot about him. If Apke's workout numbers were just within the normal range he probably wouldn't have been drafted.

DE Maxx Crosby received a combine invite today. Doubtful but maybe his teammate MLB Kyle Rachwal can get an invite too.

Nice surprise news about rangy DE Maxx Crosby.

The Bills have a ton of work to do. Agreed they need to address the OL and bring in some surly tough guys who will not only protect Allen but push defenders back to allow for a steady running game.

Also as mentioned above TE Hockenson would be a huge upgrade and give Allen a multi purpose star.

As for WR I would prefer they add experience with either Adam Humphries or Cole Beasley. A security blanket type of player that Josh can rely on. And perhaps they could draft another one but I would add a second free agent WR as well. No time to take chances on inexperienced players.

This team could be on the verge if they play it right but that defense which is overrated, needs some big time fine tuning.

With Allen's arm if you can get a solid running game established he will kill teams with long play action passes.

One of those teams that have a lot to make up and can't mess up because there are so many holes to fill. Allen in my estimation had the worst supporting offensive cast in football and he still managed to pull out some wins. He is so athletic and exciting.

Allen is one of my favorite players.

I wonder if the NFL scouts are really high on Crosby, in his highlights he looks like a skinny JJ Watt. He needs to weigh in around 255-265 at the combine, and if he runs around a 4.75 that would help him out a lot.
First video is from 2018, second is 2017 highlights.
