Actually NFL Draft Scout has Edleman just a hair quicker, 40 yard time identical. Crossan put up more reps though, 21-14. They're virtually identical and Crossan should make an NFL roster! Easily!

Good work from Leo and gang keeping us up to date with pro days stuff. Has anyone mentioned WR Brandon Reilly running a 4.42 40 at Nebraska pro day? This should be the watershed year where GM's and coaches took notes during the Super Bowl. That the three stud stellar clutch Pats receivers all made it unconventionally. One was a lacrosse player one an undrafted free agent and another was a former QB. So with that in mind will the usual decision makers start deviating from their standard practice? This year the standard procedure would mean only two wide receivers get drafted and both will be taken much later than projected. I know the top three seem like they are in like flint but I have heard separate rumblings from a few sources that either Hanson and or Switzer will not get drafted. Walter Camp football said Switzer would be "lucky" to get drafted. The majority opinion though still points to Kupp, Hansen and Switzer getting drafted but I WILL BE NERVOUS come draft day. Been burned too many times to relax. But will we be pleasantly surprised? Could another two WR's sneak in like Taylor and say Reilly sneak in late? Could small school guys like Crossan (never heard of him) and all around athletic studs like Taysom Hill hear their names come draft time?
With the great success of small school FA WR Adam Theilen, who of course was justly rewarded with a nice three year contract, signal to these NFL idiots that gee wiz golly some of these white dudes are the REAL DEAL and worth a draft pick. We will find out in over a month but the same ole same ole is not going to cut it with me and I don't think anyone else here either. I am not looking to change the world but a few more white players seems more proper and correct now more than ever.
PS I would add .05 to.07 to pro day times which still means Taysom Hill and Reilly are 4.4 runners.

I've noticed that theme running through a lot of the draft coverage I've watched on the NFL Network. A lot of talk of the need to draft the replacements for Rivers, Palmer, Manning, Brees and Roethlisberger, combined with segments on the "best under 25 quarterbacks" presently in the league, all of them of course allegedly being non-White -- Mariotta, Prescott, Winston, etc. You have to give the extreme anti-White left credit -- they define the word relentless -- they never give up and only pull back temporarily out of necessity after a setback only to regroup and come back even harder.

But the reality remains that Warren Moon is still the only black quarterback who had a long career. The others who had some success early on never maintained it and I don't see Newton and Winston being effective into their 30s. Wilson may, but he'll be a rare exception if that happens.

I don't really lump Mariota in with the black quarterbacks. I see him more as a Jim Plunkett type but I get what you're saying. I know you've stated you think Prescott might be one of the rare black quarterbacks to actually have a decent career (a la Russell Wilson) but I disagree. I see him as a flash in the pan more along the lines of Kaepernick. When I watched him, I saw a guy who could manage a game fairly well but didn't have to make a lot of difficult throws. Now that there is a years worth of film on him, I expect him to be exposed and the Cowboys will regret letting go of Tony Romo. When I watch Prescott, I see more Idler Arm Taylor than I do Wilson.

Thanks Shadowlight and great post. I learned awhile ago not to get my hopes up too much during the draft. This year will be no exception but I will say that Kupp and Hansen are really the only two white WRs I can ever recall that have been viewed in an overwhelmingly positive way from the draft "experts" to the amateur draftniks to the DWFs who post on message boards. Reily's pro day performance should of served as an eye opener. Guys like Trent Taylor, Switzer, Tanner Gentry, Jordan Westerkamp, Reilly and the others in this draft class should all end up on training camp rosters and most will probably out perform their overdrafted black counterparts.

I do consider Mariota a quota. He is treated with kid gloves and portrayed just like most black quarterbacks - overrated and constantly described as "exciting" - by the controlled sports media, as opposed to whitey who is supposedly "boring." He's also been the focus of several "Poly Pride" racebait articles - not really blaming him for that, it's the media's fault - but he does go along with it.

The small number of White quarterbacks who are likely to be drafted this year, along with the unjustified negative press that many young White quarterbacks in the league have received recently, are really bothering me. 2018 looks like a better draft for Our Guys, but it's clear that the Usual Suspects are engaging in a deliberate program to de-whiten the QB position.

Same here I dont put Mariota with the quotbacks, but I dont rate him with our guys either. His dad is a poly and his mom is white, so for me I don't rate him with our guys but I'll take him over a Jameis Winston.

Btw has anybody mentioned North Western WR Austin Carr? He's receiving late round interest, honestly didnt know about him until recently. He was a bilentnikoff award finalist and had 90 receptions for 1247 yards and 11 tds.

Here's a likely fake news blurb from Weenieworld, courtesy of an alleged scoffing, anonymous, former Big 12 coach. And if this alleged former coach is a real person, he undoubtedly thought 13 years ago that Wes Welker wasn't worth drafting and would never amount to anything in the NFL (just like all the other "experts" back in 2004). And if he is real, why the cowardice by not going on the record? There won't be any negative fallout from publicly saying Trent Taylor isn't comparable to Welker. Why treat his opinion like its cloak and daggers stuff, which makes me wonder again if it isn't Weenieworld simply engaging in fake news (again).

A former Big 12 coach scoffed at the notion that Louisiana Tech WR Trent Taylor was somewhat comparable to former New England Patriots WR Wes Welker. "I had a scout tell me he was just like Wes Welker which is crazy. Welker had a ton of punt return touchdowns (eight) and he was a lot stockier than Taylor. Taylor's a nice player from what I've seen but he's not in Wes' category," said the former coach. Taylor logged a hearty 136-1803-12 receiving line during the 2016 campaign and while he may not be Wes Welker, he could draw interest in the later rounds of the draft.

Trent Taylor's numbers at LA Tech over the past two seasons are unbelievable: 235 catches, 3,085 yards, and 21 TD's. Taylor led the NCAA in receiving yards in 2016. Through 4 seasons, his stats are: 327 catches, 4,179 yards, and 32 TD's. Those number dwarf Welker's receiving numbers at Texas Tech by a wide margin.

I've only seen Taylor play a few times and he was always far-and-away the best athlete on the field. After catching the ball, he's extremely dangerous in the open field, making sudden cuts, running ferociously for his size, and his nose for the endzone is unlike any WR I've ever seen at any level. I'd love to see Taylor catch on somewhere (via late round draft or the standard UDFA rags-to-riches) and abuse all-black secondaries for many years to come...

I hate to compare white WR's to one another, but his style really does reminds me of a shorter Julian Edelman with better hands...

"Taylor regularly turns Louisiana Tech practices into his own little circus. He catches punts behind his back and between his legs, and his pass-catching theatrics would play well with the Harlem Globetrotters. And on Saturdays, Taylor and the Bulldogs have made defenses look like the Washington Generals."

Thing about Taylor is no upside. For all the talk in that article about circus this or that his fundamentals show thru with even a casual glance at the video. Contrast that with the usual upside rhetoric over black athletes which strangely seems to be centered on how they look without a shirt on.

A few things before I veer off. When Sports Illustrated puts out season previews of MLB, College and Pro Basketball and College and Pro Football they usually rely on anonymous scouts for player analysis. Inevitably the most common thread among the scouts is that white players lack some sort of athletic ability whether it be speed, quickness, explosion or lateral movement. I DETEST anonymous scouting reports and wish they would stop it. These reports should be based on consensus and or scouts or coaches that are mentioned by name period. Enough of this Wizard of Oz hiding behind the curtain BS.
Team scouts etc. get paid a lot of money to figure out who to draft yet it still is an inexact science. Look at all the highly rated QB's that have failed miserably through the years as an example of how difficult it is to project. There is no need for some anonymous big mouth going ballistic over a casual player comparison as in the case of Trent Taylor and Wes Welker. Taylor had a better college career at WR than either
Welker and Amendola. Perhaps because WR is my favorite position I have a decent track record in forecasting how these guys will do in the pros. I don't think it is unreasonable to throw out names like Welker, Amendola or Humphries when discussing Taylor.
It seems to me teams are running out of excuses when it comes to not drafting white WR's. Over the past several years the best deep threat was white (Jordy), the best slot guy was white (Edelman) and this year saw the emergence of another white deep threat ( Hogan) and a wonderful all around talent including being a deep threat (Theilen). Top that off with white WR's putting on a show and winning big this past season it seems to me all the boxes are checked now. If teams shied away from the white WR's in the past solely because they were white doesn't it stand to reason they should be drafting more of them now since they are performing so well? AH but I used the word reason and that might not compute with the ham fisted idiots out there who decide these things. They need to show some balls and fortitude this draft. Take some chances like draft Taysom Hill as a situational RB or take a flyer on a couple of white WR"s beyond the four that have been mentioned by most.
Hell this is no time to retreat. At a bare minimum three white WR's should be drafted but that doesn't really cut it either. I would like to see five drafted. But if either Hanson and or Switzer are not drafted ( Koop is pretty much sealed) I and I'm sure many others here too will go ballistic and justifiably so. That would not be acceptable.
By the way CM could squeeze into the top ten. He is moving up rapidly which is great but I feel for Celt because I think the Packers would be an ideal spot for him.

Early on during the highlights video one of the announcers says with great surprise about Taylor -- "This kid, he had one offer coming out of high school!" Actually the only time announcers should be surprised is when a White kid playing anything other than QB, OL or TE received a lot of offers coming out of high school. Do they really not know the score yet or are they just playing along to protect their paycheck?

Taylor reminds me of Sterling Shepard, who was drafted early in the second round last year (40th overall) by the Giants. But it'll be an upset if Taylor is drafted at all, which means he'll be fighting huge odds to ever get a chance to contribute in the NFL.

Here is another laughable performance by one of the supposed best CBs in college football. He has gotten worse since the combine! Don't worry though because weenieworld enacted black privilege for him in tbe bolded part of the blurb below.

Florida CB Teez Tabor's fastest unofficial forty was clocked at 4.75s at the Gators' pro day workout on Tuesday.

This is a disheartening development for his evaluation. Tabor began moving out of the first-round conversation earlier this month when he clocked a 4.62s forty at the NFL Scouting Combine. He needed to improve upon that number at his pro day workout, but strangely regressed upon it instead. To put his time in perspective, it was slower than 6-foot-4, 280-pound FSU DE DeMarcus Walker's 4.76 showing. "The magic number for corners is 4.60. Anything above that, and the alarm goes off," Jeremiah said. "That could have a major impact. People can say the 40 is overrated, but the one position where it matters most is corner. Teams will take his best time, which was at the combine -- his magnet on everybody's board will say 4.62 -- but this was a big opportunity to help himself, and he didn't." NFL Network's Mike Mayock's dropped Tabor out of his top-five rankings at the position.

Nice numbers by McCarron - an insane athlete. Of course he was criminally underutilized during his Iowa career until Vandenberg was lost this season. I am interested to see how Beathard looked throwing the ball - he was probably my biggest disappointment of the year.

That should read "the magic number for black corners is 4.60." The "magic number" for White safeties and receivers is 4.40. The magic number for White running backs is 4.50 -- Toby Gerhart ran a 4.51 at the Combine at his size and still there was clamoring to move him to fullback. Matt Jones ran 4.37 and still BSPN listed him as a tight end during their draft coverage in 2005. I'd imagine the "magic number" for a White cornerback would have to be 4.30 or faster, and even then he'd be moved to safety in the NFL.

I still remember Brian Leonard at the combine and Dick Vermeil's full bore caste comments. Marshall Faulk playing the role of scared negro dat de white man gunna tak his pozition as well. This is also back when I had some faith that Mayock would be a game changer and opponent of the caste system - boy was I wrong! I just did a quick google search and someone actually transcribed the whole commentary. The caste system in a nutshell:

The following discussion took place when Brian Leonard was doing his vertical leap.

Mike Mayock: began pointing out that Leonard made a statement by losing 12 pounds after the season in preparation for the Combine. “He said, ‘I’m a tailback. That‘s what I want to be. I’m gonna come out, I’m gonna run, I’m gonna lift, I’m gonna show you I can play tailback at the next level.’ I believe that’s what he wants to be.”

Dick Vermeil: he’d be better off putting 12 pounds on and go to 250.

Rich Eisen: *laughs*

Marshall Faulk: *laughs* “There’s a shortage of good fullbacks. There’s a shortage of ‘em.”

Dick Vermeil: *laughs* “Oh, he’s right. Ask Marshall, when you’re playing a good one, you love ‘em boy.” *laughs some more*

Marshall Faulk: “They’re hard to find.”

Dick Vermeil: *more laughter*

Mike Mayock: “But let me ask you a question… But what if he’s talented enough to be a tailback? Aren’t we shortchanging the kid?”

Marshall Faulk: “Then you become a REALLY good fullback. Because you can read where the running back is carrying the ball.”

Dick Vermeil: *laughs*

Rich Eisen: “He had a 34 and a ½ inch vertical leap.”

Dick Vermeil: “Yeah, but the competition at that same position is totally different.”

Rich Eisen: “34 and a half for Brian Leonard.”

Incidentally, Leonard’s verticals was slightly higher than average for running backs. He leads the running backs in the bench press, with 28 reps of 225 pounds.

When it came time for Brian to run the 40, here was the discussion as Leonard did his thing…

Mike Mayock: “Okay coach, here comes your fullback and my tailback. Let‘s see what he does, alright big guy?”

Marshall Faulk: “Well, his time is going to let us know what position he is.”

Mike Mayock: “He’s got quicker feet, better feet than you give him credit for. When you put the tape on and watch him make a cut in the hole, I think you’ll be surprised.”

Dick Vermeil: “But he was not their starting running back.”

Mike Mayock: “He was for three years. They’ve got a real special sophomore named Ray Rice.”

Dick Vermeil: *laughs* “Yeah, okay. And the special ones usually play in the NFL.” *laughs some more*

Marshall Faulk: *laughs*

Mike Mayock: I still… Yeah, okay... We’ll see.

Marshall Faulk: *laughs* His time will tell let us know what position.

Dick Vermeil: I hope he does. I’m not against him at all, I just know there’s a tremendous need for fullback players.”

Mike Mayock: “He’s not a great blocker.”

Rich Eisen: “Well, as you just saw, he’s clocked in at 226 pounds here in Indianapolis, and we’ll see what he does in this 40.”

Mike Mayock: I think he had 28 reps at two and a quarter, and he had 205 receptions as a running back in college.”

~Brian runs~

Dick Vermeil: “Well, pretty good. Probably a 4.6 there, a 4.7... ”

Mike Mayock: “I think he’s… I want to say…”

Rich Eisen: “How about a 4.49?”

Dick Vermeil: “That’s alright.”

Rich Eisen: “How about a 4.49?”

Mike Mayock: “Okay coach, what is he now? Tailback. Fullback?”

Marshall Faulk: “Guy might be a situational halfback.” *laughs* “Might be a situational halfback.”

Dick Vermeil: “I hope whatever he is…”*stunned silence*

Mike Mayock: “Or a West Coast fullback, where he can catch the football. This guy catches the football as well as any back in the country.”

Marshall Faulk: “He could be that.”
------------------------------------------------------------
The very next back was Marshawn Lynch, who ran a 4.52... Vermeil said, “That’s fast enough. Believe me.”

------------------------------------------------------------

Brian runs a 4.49, no comment. Marshwan runs a 4.52 and "hey, that's fast enough".

I mean, it just really seems like people are short changing the guy.

Well done to reprint that exchange. That was back when Mike Mayock was semi-fair. Now even he's a full-blown Caste cuck, very sad.

What a d*ck Vermeil was and is. I also remember that pr*ck would bring out the tear bucket and cry without a moments notice on tv. A poor excuse for a White man.

Of course this is gonna light my fire. I say NFL draft him. These are INSANE NUMBERS. I do not think the Iowa field was fast given the times of the other Iowa players so McCarron ran a high 4.3 or 4.4 flat when you adjust the numbers. But combine all of that with his 40 plus vertical and beyond belief shuttle and three cone numbers and you have arguably the best pure athlete in the draft. And he is currently working for an accountant firm? Whaaaaaat? Lets see what a choice. Being an accountant or an NFL WR? Gee thats a tough close call in terms of excitement. McCarron start selling yourself and get your ass out there and show off your ability to the teams before the draft.. By the way he barely trained for the workout. And I recall that fabulous TD versus Nebraska Heretic posted. And it is worth noting that I never recall announcers referring to Riley's speed last season. Not even a whiff of it. And given the slow times of some of these black players you never heard they lacked speed but you can bet your ass if they were white the announcers would have mentioned it at every turn. I enjoyed watching Riley fill in valiantly last season but was aware he was a former walk on back up with no NFL buzz so I wasn't going too nuts but I am now. One other thing I will discuss in another post. We do not know who the fastest player in the draft is depsite the media consensus it is Ross. It could be McCarron and I will explain why. In the meantime for crying out loud forget about the accounting young man. This guy could be a faster quicker version of Edelman if you can believe that is humanly possible so an NFL team should throw away their "black" handbooks into the trash and give it a whirl and pick this dude. You only live once NFL. That goes for you too Riley. Grab it by the throat. Bring back daring and excitement to the NFL again.

Vermeil is the lowest of the low. Just a real caste whore scumbag. Just remember his tearful defense of the pos Lawrence Phillips and vermeil's never ending defense of him.
