Greece is a team of aging players that haven’t looked good, even in a relatively easy group. Over the past 6-8 years, they usually sport some of the best team defense in the world, but even that facet of their game seems to be slipping in this tournament. They can’t score, they struggle to possess to ball with any kind of consistency, and they’re terrible on set-pieces. Nevertheless, there is something about this team that I really like. They have nice speed, athleticism, endurance, and they have a stunning “never say die” attitude. Let’s hope this squad, which starts 10 whites and 1 Mestizo, can somehow, someway, get past Costa Rica. They’re best hope is probably a draw, extra time, and winning in a shoot-out. But with this team, you never know.

unfair to greece
they have been very consistant since 2004, qualifying for tournaments and doing pretty well in them
they couldn't score agianst japan because they got a red card early in the game
and colombia are very good
don't get into the anti-white propaganda about greece
i told you to have faith in greece while all the "experts" said even before the tournament that greece had no chance

typical things that you could hear from the mostly english "experts":

"Japan are growing in stature all the time - they've come a long way since I played there in the early 1990s - and they will be able to cause a few upsets. I don't fancy Greece at all.
"Yaya Toure might pull it out of the bag for the Ivory Coast and they will join Colombia in the second round."

it's easy to understand why
almost none of the greek players are on their radar
there are a lot of ivorian players who play in premier league like the best midfielder in the world :lie: yaya touré, or drogba who is a "premier league legend" :yuck:, not to mention the ones they want to buy (serge aurier, they keep talking about him all the time)
japan has some marketing players that play in england, some are well known like kagawa

they did the same mistake in 2010 with uruguay
none of the uruguayan players were really known in england, except forlan who was know as a manchester united flop
but forlan developped into on of europe's best strikers in spain, playing for lesser known teams than real madrid and barcelona, but outscoring real madrid and barcelona's strikers (etoo for example)

As usual, the far-left white communists are more outraged than the Oppressed Minority Group they claim to be fighting on behalf of.

I hope I don't come off as rude, but I'm concerned with the way people on this forum are classifying people as "white"

Ochoa is clearly a Mestizo. He has white skin, but skin is not the only thing that makes someone white, at least not in my opinion and the general public as well.

The classifying of Uruguay as a white team concerns me as well. I haven't been able to catch a full match yet but from what I have seen and heard about the team they seem to be a fairly diverse squad. Their best player, Suarez is not only mestizo but has a black grandfather as well!

Also I'm still not convinced Dempsey is white. After watching a few interviews with him he seems to have mexican blood in him. To make matters worse, Dempsey was born in a heavily mexican area. Until someone proves me otherwise, he is part mexican to me.

Nacogdoches is only 16% Hispanic and in 1983 when Dempsey was born it would have been even less so.

If these people had any shame, they'd hide in their holes for a few days, after like you said,a team containing the best midfielder in the world :lie: yaya touré,the best striker ever Drogba ,last year's Dutch league top scorer Wilfried Bony, the hottest prospect in France today Serge Aurier and great CB Kolo Toure couldn't come together to beat tiny little Greece with no 'stars' in the PL.

Ivory Coast had several scoring opportunities against the Greeks (though not as many as the Japanese) but messed them up. Their group was as weak as Group E. Taking off their forwards to consolidate a draw was also a mistake. So many teams do that and get punished. Yesterday the Italians played for 80+ minutes like they wanted a draw.

US media quoted without comment:

Even if Klinsmann wanted to play for the counterattack, Jozy Altidore will not be fit for Thursday, and with Altidore goes any plan to counter with a lone striker. Chris Wondolowski and Aron Johannsson are both dangerous strikers, but they don’t have the speed nor the physicality to play Altidore’s counterattacking brand.

Sunderland are so lucky to have Jozy's speed and physicality.

It's starting to look like Messi's World Cup. Three shots on target, two goals in the first half against Nigeria. That's four goals in total.

Messi's been playing great so far!! It's been fun watching him.

On Dempsey, everybody I know considers him white. If he was part-Mexican, I think the media would've said something by now.

i was frustrated that nigeria didn't get a yellow card for trying to stop messi with a foul
the referees have to protect him, i don't want him to get injured because an african no-name gets frustrated and doesn't know how to stop him
then messi scored from the free kick

Yes,Messi's on fire, and the freekick for the goal should've been a yellow-card at the same time.

Nacogdoches is only 16% Hispanic and in 1983 when Dempsey was born it would have been even less so.

I’ve always questioned Dempsey’s ethnicity, mostly due to his ability to have a deep tan, his straight black hair, and his jet-black bug eyes. Dempsey’s father, “Aubrey,” is allegedly Irish. I believe he’s the guy in the middle…

TheChicSite_BethanyDempsey-Intervie-600x303.jpg

His mother’s name, “Debbie,” doesn’t exactly scream Latino. I believe this is her…

This article, published by Sports Illustrated, suggests that a young Dempsey was referred to as a “Gringo” by the Mexicans in his Texas community…

A Gringo's Game

He blends Latino creativity with European discipline—and even more important, Clint Dempsey "tries s---." Could the hard-edged, risk-taking Texan come to embody (finally) the American way to play?

The man wore crocodile boots, a white cowboy hat and a belt buckle the size of a license plate. Clint Dempsey doesn't remember his full name—hell, nobody in Nacogdoches, Texas, does—but you couldn't miss him on the sidelines of Nac-town's Mexican League games, amid the cigar smoke and the fajita carts and the horchata peddlers. He was the guy betting cash money on the ****y 15-year-old gringo to beat men more than twice his age, proud men from Mexico and El Salvador who'd throw you to the East Texas dirt for trying a fancy move on them. Sixty, eighty, one hundred dollars! The man kept wagering, and Dempsey's team, Zamora, kept winning. "He called me," says Dempsey, "his Little Rooster."

Years before he would score in the World Cup for the U.S., the Little Rooster swallowed his fear, unleashing all the tricks he'd seen in his Diego Maradona highlight videos and noodled on in his grandma's backyard with his older brother, Ryan. Stepovers, nutmegs, dipsy-dos: The Little Rooster had everything, even moves without names, moves nobody had seen before. Childhood friend Frankie Rivera recalls one Mexican League game when Dempsey "did some kind of weird trick—it was so awesome—and the guy got mad and spit in his face. Clint just went at him. He had three guys trying to fight him, but he did good. He did good."

And when the Little Rooster scored goals, he wouldn't hold back on his foes. "He'd run around to the faces of all of them," says Dempsey's mother, Debbie.

"They'd be so mad," says his father, Aubrey. "They'd scream and holler."

Says Dempsey, "I'm surprised I didn't get stabbed out there."

In seeing his parents, I believe that he’s simply a white man with dark features. Of course, sometimes he looks more white than others.

White Clint...

Here's an article about Dempsey's childhood with a photo... he's the third kid from the left. Dempsey's definitely white.

http://soccerblog.dallasnews.com/20...-young-clint-dempseys-trek-to-world-cup.html/

With Thrashen's article, I think this is settled. Dempsey's parents look totally white from the pics.

Yes,once and for all,I've always maintained that its just that he's just a little tanned.

An like you said earlier,if he had a drop of non-white blood in him,we would've heard of it for sure,as he'd be paraded as USA's multikult saviour!

Missed the start of the 2nd half...and two goals. Does Argentina have a defensive issue?

it might be a problem against better teams
i can't believe that mascherano still plays
i would have preferred biglia
the defence looks vulnerable when the other team has the ball

Boko Haram is going to cause a flood of Nigerians to white countries... The west won't bomb them because their killing Christians and its get them the ability to import Muslim Nigerians under the guise of them being refugees.

nigeria vs france in the next round most likely
so finally i'm going to be able to root for france maybe
but not sure
because players like pogba, evra or benzema are more irritating than the nigerians

Despite this being a pro white sports site I am rooting for the USA baby. I don't care how many mystery meat people they play. If they get knocked out then Ill root for the team with the most white dudes. Probably Germany.

Clint has a beautiful White family. Loving parents, a gorgeous wife and the 3 children that she has already bore for him. The only thing ruining this family photo, is that Marxist piece of garbage Sunil Gulati, who continues to do his best to make the USMNT as non-White as possible.

All this talk of Clint being non-White should be put to rest once and for all. He's White, he's the greatest goal scorer in US history and we should be celebrating his talents.

How does Giroud not start after his monster game?

Frederic, there are a player or 2 I'm unfamiliar with. Is France starting 4 or 5 Whites today?
