Taylor Martinez runs 4.28 and 4.35 at Nebraska's pro day.
Where did you read this. Nfldraftscout shows him running in the 4.4 range.Taylor Martinez runs 4.28 and 4.35 at Nebraska's pro day.
Seems like he has run in the same range as Denard Robinson last year. Denard got drafted by the Jaguars in the 5th round as an "offensive weapon". Martinez is slightly taller and slightly heavier. If the NFL were fair, Martinez would get drafted in the same round, give or take. However, I predict he won't get drafted at all. He could make an interesting UDFA for a team willing to teach him a new position.Knew Taylor Martinez was a burner...but wow! He made a lot of improvement as a passer...should be interesting to see where he is drafted!

St. Francis PA RB Kyle Harbridge is being described as a Danny Woodhead Clone per Gil Brandt:
Kyle Harbridge of FCS-level Saint Francis (Pa.) is a 5-foot-9 3/8, 204-pound running back, who ran the 40-yard dash in 4.52 and 4.56 seconds as one of those area small-school prospects on hand at Villanova’s pro day. Harbridge had a 33-inch vertical jump and a 10-foot broad jump. He did the short shuttle in 4.25 seconds and the three-cone drill in 7.23 seconds. He also performed 22 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. Harbridge — who had 1,692 yards rushing, a 6.0-yards-per-carry average and 16 touchdowns on the ground for the Red Flash in 2013 — caught the ball well out of the backfield and is also a really good kickoff returner (he averaged 26.27 yards a return in 2013).
Also Max Bullough had a great pro day workout. Not sure why he is being knocked down - he is huge and moves very well for his size. The media and draftnik weenies are pointing to his suspension for the bowl game as the reason he is falling - give me a break with that nonsense: Max Bullough, LB (6-3 3/8, 248) — Bullough ran the 40 in 4.76 and 4.70 seconds. He had a short shuttle time of 4.29 seconds and a three-cone time of 7.08 seconds. Bullough looked good in the drills, displaying a lot more athleticism and flexibility than his frame would suggest. To be 248 pounds and run that three-cone time is impressive. Bullough, it should be noted, is a third-generation Spartan. His grandfather Hank Bullough played guard at the school from 1952-54) and was drafted by the Green Bay Packers and later coached at MSU and in the NFL, and father Shane Bullough played linebacker at MSU from 1983-86).
Beau Blankenship worked out at Oklahoma's pro day - ran a 4.47 and had a 37 inch vert. Probably a good move for him as the Oklahoma proday had more scouts in attendance.

It's pretty obvious that someone (Stoops, NFL scouts, staff testers) intervened on behalf of the Sooners players.
There's no such thing as a Vertical Jump tower that measures to one-eighth of an inch. Yet a Stoops negro gets that tiny extra little bit so he can be ahead of the white player. And hand-timed 40 results are notoriously unreliable. At pro days even more so. There's absolutely no reason to believe that Blankenship finished 0.03 behind an afflete. It's just a made-up number. He might have finished seven tenths behind or half a second ahead. Impossible to know. But it sure serves the caste system's narrative to publish the numbers that they did. Same thing on the short shuttle with Beau finishing a "not possible to hand-time" hundredths of a second behind. And no mention at all in the writeup about his bench performance.
According to some reports Lovie Smith, the black new head coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, wants a new quarterback.
If these reports are true it can only mean one thing, Smith wants a black quarterback.
Mike Glennon, who is white, had an excellent rookie year and looks like the real deal. Based on performance the Bucs should be addressing other needs and not be looking to replace Glennon.
If Teddy Bridgewater is available and the Bucs take him the only reason would be because he's black and they don't want a white quarterback.
