Freddie Freeman won the fan voting for the final NL All Star spot with a record 19.7 million votes. He's hitting .313/9/60. I found this out while channel surfing and watching a few minutes of Sports Center, an extreme rarity for me. After announcing Freeman's win and the record vote total, ESPN then cut to a follow-up report -- which was not about Freeman, who suffers from being of the race that lacks upside and charisma, but rather on the reaction of Dodgers rookie Yasiel Puig, the latest media love child, to not winning the vote despite a frenzied media campaign on his behalf.

Puig has played all of 36 games so far, but as I learned further from an AP story in today's fishwrap, "Puig-mania is sweeping the country."

Puig is 6'3" and 245 pounds and has a gaudy .397 batting average thus far, but only 19 RBIs to go with 8 homers. A nice start to a rookie season, but hardly worthy of "Puig-mania." Someone named Ted Berg wrote an article for McPaper (USA Today) titled "Yasiel Puig is the reason we have the All-Star Game." http://ftw.usatoday.com/2013/07/yasiel-puig-is-what-the-all-star-game-is-for/ Yes, of course, the All Star game exists only to lionize blacks who have yet to play a quarter of a season's worth of games in their MLB career.

I recall hearing something in passing the other day about Mark McGwire lecturing or politely castigating Puig, an indicator that he likely has "character issues," but the only thing that counts with ESPN and the rest of the corporate media is following the communist line on race.

Don, it was reported that McGwire jumped on Puig pretty hard for not acknowledging a conversation former Arizona Diamondback player Luis Gonzalez had tried to strike up with Puig about his(Gonzalez's) family having roots in Cuba. Puig completely ignored Gonzalez even while Gonzalez spoke Spanish to Puig, so he understood what Gonzalez was saying. Gonzalez confirmed the one-sided conversation and to McGwire it showed a lack of respect for the former World Series Champion. I'm glad McGwire stood up to Puig.

A lot of people dislike McGwire, but I've always been a fan of his and respect what he did as a baseball player. Yes he did some steroids, but I believe he did it primarily in the beginning to help recover from injury. McGwire always had HR power even as a 195lb. rookie before he bulked up. He holds the Major League record for HR's (49) by a rookie. His HR's were legendary from age 12 on. I wished he could have stayed healthy early in his career and stayed off the roids, who knows what he would have done.

Anyway, props to McGwire for making a stand!

Back in 2005, Chris Shelton sprang onto the scene for the Detroit Tigers, batting .345 with 24 runs, 7 homers, and 26 RBIs in his first 36 games. In 2006, Shelton opened the season with 9 homers in the first 13 games of the year, an incredible pace that quickly tapered. Then, from wiki:

During 2007 spring training, Shelton started and finished spring training with the Tigers and by the end of spring training there was one spot left on the team's roster and the fight was between Marcus Thames and Chris Shelton. Shelton did not make the roster, which left him heading to Toledo for the 2007 season.

By 2009, Shelton was out of the majors for good.

"Shelton-mania"

In 2007, Shelley Duncan made a stellar 2nd-half debut for the Yankees, tallying 7 homers and 17 RBIs in 34 games, with a modest .329 OBP. By the following year, he cleared waivers. Duncan is currently stuck in career limbo between Triple A and the end of a bench.

"Duncan-mania"

There are a couple other examples of hot starts by white players that come to mind within the past 7 or so years, but none of them got this fawning Puig treatment either.

Yasiel Puig has been the subject of non-stop ESPN attention for a while. It fits the agenda as I mentioned below, "Every Cuban "exile" is pimped by the MSM sports complex, because Cuba is a closed system it remains mysterious to the white **** that run the sports media and they treat it like a modern Negro League where super talented black players are prohibited from playing in amerika because of some form of white racism, in this case the political impasse with Cuba."

The cultymarxists that run the sports media love them some black cubans. For a while it was Yoenis Cespedes who was going to be the greatest player in history and so they had a bunch of teams fighting over him. His .221 batting average has brought those expectations back to earth.

As mentioned plenty of White players have had great rookie starts and were never remotely considered for the All Star game. Phall mentioned Chris Shelton who had his career torpedoed by being left off the roster after spring training, but another Tiger player was Brennen Boesch who was the American League rookie of the month his first two months in the majors. He was among the league leaders in avg., HR's, and RBI's in a half season that dwarfed what Puig is doing. Facts however mean nothing to the PC crowd.

The Detroilet Tigres made a deal at the trade deadline to add yet another hispanic ballplayer. Jose Veras a non-descript reliever for the Astros who at 32 has managed to save a few games.

Here's a comment from a DWF on one of the team boards and it says everything you need to know about most white guys that follow sports.

1. We now have three closers. And I mean real closers, not Phil Coke it’s 10-1 closing closers. (gratuitous insult to the one of the few White guys in the bullpen who starred in the post season last year)

2. We increased the number of Latinos on the team. This can only be good. (says who?!?)

3. Seriously, does any team have more stereotypes than the Tigers? We have the speedy african-american in centerfield; we have a sh*tload of 5-tool Latinos all across the field;
(note: they have NO 5 tool latinos, typical white DWF projection, Cabrerra and Martinez are as slow as molasses, Peralta is a steroid guy with no speed or range, Infante and Santiago have no power, so there are no "5-tool latinos")

our 1B is a large, large man with a giant bat (he's a fat black guy but that can't be mentioned) ; we have a beastly catcher who shaves pre-game and has a giant beard by the 7th inning stretch (Alex Avila- a true "White hispanic"); we have a bunch of white guys in the rotation, where they’re basically the QBs and kickers of the team (kickers??, so the Tigers are just like an afrocentric NFL team?); and we have Don Kelly, who is Kyle Korver in a baseball jersey if ever such a man existed. (just a pathetic shot at a good utility guy)

4. Honestly, to cap it off, all we need is Drew Smyly to grow a Brian Wilson beard and act insane for a few months. Then I complete my stereotype Bingo card. (insane White guy, yeah a real stereotype!)

LOL, this guy's a bigger wigger than Eminem.

I really got a good laugh about the "5 tool Latinos". If you magically combined all of them, then maybe you'd have a 5 tool guy. Seriously, even Miguel Cabrera who's an incredible hitter has a poor glove with little range and below average speed and base-running instincts. The height that DWFs will go to elevate non-whites is unreal. There is no team in MLB more loathsome than the Tigers this year.

Those darn "youths" strike again:

Texas Rangers pitcher Tanner Scheppers sustained facial bruises after he said he was “sucker-punched” while walking in downtown Cleveland this week. Scheppers had cuts above his nose and bruising around his left eyes when he spoke to reporters prior to Saturday night’s game against the Indians. Scheppers said he was attacked Thursday night. He was unavailable Friday night but said he could pitch Saturday. Scheppers said he didn’t file a police report. The reliever said he was going out to dinner a few blocks from the team’s hotel after the Rangers arrived in Cleveland on Thursday night following their afternoon game in Texas. Scheppers said he was “sucker-punched by several young males” and knocked to the sidewalk, but never lost consciousness. Scheppers said he wasn’t robbed and that his attackers ran away. http://www.amren.com/news/2013/07/r...nd-suffers-facial-bruises/#.UfkUrnH6ME0.email

Quite a different reaction from when the first public accusations were made against Roger Clemens. After all, how could anyone look at Pujols, his physique and rapid decline after MLB finally cracked down on illegal drug use, and think he may have used steroids or PEDs?

Jack Clark fired for PED comment about Albert Pujols

Former St. Louis Cardinals star Jack Clark is out of his sports talk radio job along with co-host after saying Albert Pujols took performance-enhancing drugs.

Clark said on the air last week on WGNU in St. Louis that Pujols’ former trainer, Chris Mihlfeld, told him 10 years ago that he injected PEDs into Pujols, the former Cardinals great now in his second season with the Angels but sidelined by a foot injury.

Clark paid the price for being an honest White man. No tearful apology but it's still early. I think he erred in the way it was presented. Or at least the media painted it that way. But still the accusation should be treated with some faith. Look at the situation.

Where he was off base was to also accuse Justin Verlander. He may have thought throwing a White guy under the bus at the same time created some balance but he has no creditable reason to accuse him other then Verlander having a slightly down season, and not by much, something far more typical for pitchers then for position players.

Clark should go to war on this and tell Pujols to go ahead and sue for slander and he will call under oath the guys that told him Pujols was using. That will stop it for sure. But Pujols people played it smart and just threatened the radio station which of course will back off from any negative legal action.

Arizona first baseman Paul Goldschmidt leads the NL in RBIs with 93 and is tied for the HR lead with 29. He has a .295 batting average.

Goldschmidt has stolen 13 bases in 17 attempts after stealing 18 last year in 21 attempts. Not bad speed for someone who's 6'3" and weighs 245 pounds!

Am watching the Red Sox - Yankees game now and it is a veritable caste match. All the Sox I have seen so far are white and the Yanks have all Negroes or blackish Hispanics (save for two players) so far.

Liverlips, I did a check on the Red Sox, as I have also been watching them this year, and I found some great things out.

The only black player that the Red Sox regularly play is their DH, David Ortiz, who leads the team in batting average. Victorino is half-white I believe, and has no black or Latino heritage at all, so I'll cheer for him. The Red Sox regularly play 7 white players, and Victorino. They are the most white-friendly team in the AL for sure; they also have the AL's best record. They should be Caste Football's team of choice to root for.

Boston has no black or Latino outfield players, a sure sin in the eyes of Bud Selig and the multi-kulti MLB brass. In fact, out of the 25 currently active players on the Red Sox roster, David Ortiz, starting pitcher Felix Doubront, and the not often used Franklin Morales and Ruby De La Rosa make up the black Latino contigent on the Red Sox. Boston also has two good Japanese relievers as well; Junichi Tazawa, and Koji Uehara, who is also their closer, as Joel Hanrahan is out for the year.

Clayton Kershaw just shut out the Marlins for 8 innings. got his majors leading ERA down to 1.72 I think. He should've finished the game. I really don't like this pitchcount malarkey.

Max Scherzer of the Tigers has an amazing 18-1 win-loss record. And he looks like he'll be the only pitcher in either league to get to 20 wins as no one else has won more than 14. 14! Pathetic, I really miss the days when there were a dozen or so pitchers who won at least 20 games every season.

And gotta give a shout-out to 39 year old Ichiro Suzuki, who last night got the 4,000th base hit of his combined Japanese-MLB career. He didn't start playing in the U.S. until he was 27 years old and still has over 2,700 MLB hits. He's finally slowed down the past couple of years, but in his first 10 seasons he never had fewer than 206 hits, and in 2004 had 262 of them, breaking the longstanding record of 257 set by George Sisler. Sisler's mark had often been mentioned in discussions about "unbreakable" baseball records.

Anybody been following the classless Puig? Throwing temper tantrums, declaring himself the greatest hitter in baseball, blowing off legend Luis Gonzalez, etc. This guy seems to be every modern day black athlete rolled into one.

Yes, somewhat, McGwire got on him pretty hard after the LG incident. I wouldn't call it a severe slump just yet, but his average has dipped 30 points over the last 2 weeks, from .376 to .346. I think he's like 12 for his last 54 over the last 14 games.

Keith Olberwomann's vile new show debuted on ESPN the other day and played a enraging clip of NY Mets 2nd baseman, Daniel Murphy, uttering an imbecilic, Jew-approved explanation for why he's been able to steal so many bases this season...

I'm hoping the fact that I look like a slow white guy is working in my favor right now!"

Olbermann, who is looking more obese and pomphous than ever, grinned ear-to-ear. With any luck, this self-abhorring ****** (Murphy or Olbermann, take your pick) with encounter a gaggle of Trayvon's in the Big Rotten Apple.
