KS, The Jackie Robinson BS and lack of blacks in baseball does get on my nerves and the fact that moron Selig created a commission to investigate as to why their are so few blacks in baseball shows what a joke that cult-marxists tribesmen is.
THIS. Nothing against Robinson but you would think he was the greatest player that ever lived listening to the Marxist baseball/sports media. Robinson is the only player to have his number retired league wide. That is an honor usually reserved for only the best in their respective sports ala Wayne Gretzky. Players like Babe Ruth, Ty Cobb, Pete Rose were all superior but it is Robinson that is treated like a deity. These idiots trying to get more blacks playing baseball are unable to grasp the simple reality that baseball is no longer a part of the black culture. Basketball and football have taken over in those communities, yet idiot Selig can't seem to comprehend this and goes on to waste tons of money creating commissions and think tanks to try to "rectify" this "problem"

I found a cute little write-up on ESPN of all places discussing the "most underrated" players by position. Lo and behold: the list is completely devoid of non-Asian minorities!

SweetSpot TV: All-Underrated team

C -- Jonathan Lucroy, Brewers
1B -- Allen Craig, Cardinals
2B -- Neil Walker, Pirates
3B -- Kyle Seager, Mariners
SS -- Brandon Crawford, Giants
LF -- Josh Willingham, Twins
SP -- Mike Minor, Braves

The list of ten also included the Korean Shin-Soo Choo and Japanese players Norichika Aoki and Hisashi Iwakuma. For icing on this caste cake, the two nerd pundits annoint Brandon Phillips and Ryan Howard, two of baseball's top "legitimate blacks", as their 'Most Overrated' in the linked video.

The article's author, David Schoenfield, looks like a typical DWF dweeb, and I'm sure he'd be quite mortified if someone pointed out that he'd neglected to heap proportionate praise on the sport's more important minorities.

Schoenfieldian Slip: gives white players their due

This list of players is not particularly objective and carries no consequence. What it does signal, to me anyway: while there are certainly still plenty of white superstars, baseball's 'working class' is being thoroughly outsourced to hispanic imports. The unheralded players here are the equivalent of college football's walk-ons and the NFL's undrafted free agents. They are excelling in spite of generic pedigrees or limited "upside", whereas the mestizo masses are less likely to exceed their billing. It seems counter-intuitive that francjises continue to venture south of the border to corral the next undiscovered gem when above-ARV players reliably hail from north of 30 degrees latitude.

Tim Hudson deserves to be on any All Underrated Team. Now 37, he's been a model of consistent excellence, never having a losing season and notching career win 200 last night (and hit a homerun on his behalf as icing on the cake).

Hudson is now 200-105. I just looked it up and his .656 winning percentage is 20th best in baseball history, pretty rarified company.

Will he make the Hall of Fame? Probably not unless he pitches effectively into his 40s and has at least 250 career wins. It's difficult for pitchers to put up great career stats in the era of the five-man starting rotation and relief specialists. But there's no question Hudson's been one of the best pitchers of the past 15 years.

Clayton Kershaw is quietly notching one of the lowest ERAs in the league again, but the Dodgers aren't getting enough runs for him.

The Atlanta Braves' Jordan Schafer is certainly getting the "playing while white" treatment this year. He sits on the bench with a 290 batting average......while the "superior affrolete", BJ Upton, plays center field while batting 145.....not to mention Schafer has twice as many stolen bases in half the playing time (6 versus Upton's 3). Sports Talk Radio here in Atlanta were getting the fans opinion as to who should go down to the minors when Jason Heyward came off the DL........I swear to you, at least one third on the DWFs calling in suggested that it should be Schafer.....you can't make this stuff up......

Clayton Kershaw just threw a nine inning win 3-1 over Milwaukee. His league leding ERA is reduced to 1.35. Only thing wrong is the dodgers aren't scoring many runs.

Mike Trout hit for the cycle the other night. Looks like he is finally heating up. I hope Hamilton follows suit.

Youngest player in American League history to do so. 3rd youngest in MLB history. The legend of Mike Trout continues to grow.

In other Trout "news", I see Mike featured in Subway® commercials. You know that Trout is undeniably great when the racist, afrolete promoting, sandwich shop features him.

The Detroit Tigers Memorial Day game today featured the usual rah-rah GO AMERICA stuff that has become part and parcel of the govt-sports-media complex. The players were special uniforms that replaced the team colors with desert style camo. Looked pretty stupid. I'm glad they don't play on Valentine's Day because the heart uniforms would really be bad.

Because it was Memorial Day there were plenty of salutes to fallen troops which is appropriate. After all these were American citizens that gave their last full measure of devotion to their country. Starting line-up of the Detroit Tigres? Here are the cities of their births:
Havana, Cuba
Ciudad Bolivar, Venezuela
Maracay, Venezuela
Puerto La Cruz, Venezuela
Santiago, Dominican Republic
Anzoategui, Venezuela
The two American blacks and the one Pacific Islander were however born in the USA. And we all know how patriotic blacks and samoans are.

So no White guys in the line-up, except the pitcher. When you consider the governments of Cuba and Venezuela basically hate the US, did any of the guys on the field even give a sh*t how many Yanquies died serving a flag they don't care about? They had a shot of the dugout during the singing of God Bless America at the seventh inning stretch. It was funny, White guys with their caps over their hearts, hispanoliacs shuffling around wondering what the hell that b*tch was singing about.

As much as some of you guys rag on the Pittsburgh management at least the Pirates have some White guys in the line-up.

I came across this short video on Albert Pujols, and it well represents standard operating procedure and the usual script for the CM media: obligatory female moderator, quite fruity sounding "analyst" discussing Pujols' rapid decline last year and this year after getting a ridiculously huge guaranteed long-term contract from the Angels, with the decline being ascribed only to "age" even though Pujols only turned 33 in January. Most great baseball players are still in their prime at 33, but an obvious question that should be asked -- is Pujols' sudden decline related to tougher drug testing by MLB? -- isn't, as it would clearly be "insensitive" when discussing a "revered" non-White player.

Fat Albert was "insulted" when the Cardinals offered him close to $200 million. There was also a rumor going around at the time of the negotiations that Fat Albert is older than he claims to be. Obviously, he wouldn't have gotten the 10 year mega deal if he were older. Whatever craphole 3rd world island he comes from has lackluster birth certificate records - imagine that. But there were those who said it was 'racist' to question how old he really is.

I read an article last week about him. Some of the quotes were to the effect of 'It's not about the money' 'Maybe i'm just getting old' and about how his foot is really hurting him.

The Cardinals were the huge winners in letting him walk. They got 2 first round picks and saved a boatload of money. They've gotten similar production out of the players they've signed or already had on the team.

Does anyone else find it funny how everyone is trying to hype up this Yasiel Pig guy from Cuba? He has been in the league for less than a week and people are trying to say he is better than Harper.

I guess he is the next dark colored hype for the DWFs and limp wristed media types.

Every Cuban "exile" is pimped by the MSM sports complex, because Cuba is a closed system it remains mysterious to the White **** that run the sports media and they treat it like a modern Negro League where super talented black players are prohibited from playing in amerika because of some form of white racism, in this case the political impasse with Cuba.

Anyone non-White is better then any White player, it's the iron rule of the media concerning baseball and sports in general. I see this in spades (ha) here in Detroit where the Venezuelan National Team + a few expensive US blacks is cheered on by 99% White crowds.

Each year a designated White player is picked to be the target of 99.9% of the hate directed at the team by the fans. For a while it was Brandon Inge who didn't hit like a superstar so he had to go, despite being a great part of the team and community for over 10 years. When he was gone they moved to Ryan Rayburn and drove him out of town. With Rayburn gone they went after Brennan Boesch. This year it's been super sub Don Kelly, and after him it will be Andy Dirks. The goal is to purge all White everyday players from the team (except pitchers-but they're working on that too). Let the rich dying owner squander his pizza millions on every non-White superstar on the market and studiously avoid and White US talent.

It's just what has happened to the city itself as global elites have given their jobs to other peoples. Watching them cheer the same example of replacement on their beloved baseball team is so pathetic you can only laugh.

Pujols has looked bad the last couple of seasons. He is hitting .240 and playing DH and with his high salary I don't think the can trade him.

Make sure you guys vote your favorite players, because as usual the ones who tend to get screwed over tend to be the white guys.

Will do Hawkeye2. Thanks for the list of players to vote for. Typically, and this is an old story, the best white players get divided among white voters and DWF's who vote for black and hispanic players. There are several deserving players at the same positions.

That big fat CC Sabathia on the Yankees got shelled yesterday. This is the part of the season where he'll wear down. He's got eight wins and I don't see him with more than fourteen. He's been carrying all that weight around far too long. I think he's done as a premier pitcher in the league.
