The Minnesota Timberwolves are putting on a show tonight against Charlotte. Kevin Love has 14 points and 10 rebounds at the half as they lead 68-48! Everyone has looked great tonight. Budinger,Barrera, Rubio, Sved, etc. They are playing with high energy and high fiving each other like crazy. I can tell that they must have had a team meeting. Every player is playing their heart out to get the win. What I like is everyone out there is encouraging each other. They are all rooting for each other. By far the best I have seen this team look all year! They have a swagger about them tonight. Now this is the team I want to see. Even Turiaf has played great and they need his toughness. I'm not gonna count it as a win yet but they do look great. Keep it up guys. Let's go Minnesota!

I just got home to see the good news! Looking forward to the second half.

On a bad note....another star white player is out with an injury. Chandler Parsons is not playing tonight with some kind of knee injury!

That's number 7 of the good to very good white players who are down with injuries. Other players include..
Mark Gasol, J.J. Redick,N. Vucevic, Ryan Anderson, Steve Blake, and T. Splitter that I know of.

$#!^, Now Gordon Hayward, after a 37/11/7 performance has a muscle strain in his hip. Out for tonight's game! What the heck is going on here? That's number 8. A couple more and I won't have any reason to watch the NBA, again!

Damn that sucks. Hayward, Pasons, Splitter, Gallinari and countless others. It has been a rough year. Thank God at least Minnesota has stayed healthy. Let's hope these guys can come back quickly. Hayward is having an incredible year and he has become the face of the franchise in Utah. Now if they can only go get Jimmer. Rumors have it are that Denver is trying to pull a trade for Fredette. There is six weeks left until the trade deadline. We shall see what happens.

One last thing. I've said it before and I will say it again. Why did Minnesota get rid of all their shot blockers and best defenders from last year? Those guys would have helped to have won at least half of these games with their interior defense. They didn't realise that guys like Kirelenko, and Stiemsma were the difference makers. They won 32 games last year because of defense. All the scorers were hurt. They should have never let these guys get away.

At this writing, 2nd in the league in points scored. 25th in points against (defense). But most importantly, they have to close out games. I think they will improve. Playoffs this year? We'll see.

This post is for the spaniard. Your a very welcome addition to the board, I enjoy reading your updates as well as carolina speed. It's good to see some nba fans here. Question for the spaniard. Are you a huge fan of Ricky Rubio? He has the ability to become an all star if he can get his shooting down in the next couple of seasons? I would imagine Spain loves the kid as well as the Gasol brothers. Anyways, welcome again my friend. I think you will like it here on this board.

Thanks, I'm glad to be a member.
I think Ricky Rubio has a bright future. He's got spectacular passing ability, along with great defense, and ball handling ability. Unfortunately like you said, he's poor shooting has been a real hindrance to the Timberwolves, and it's definitely an area he needs to work on. When it comes to All-Star status, I'm keeping an eye on the Slovenian Goran Dragic who I believe is already playing like a top 5 PG.

Redick came back last night for the first time in 21 games and scored 19 as The Spaniard noted.

Awesome performance by Dirk in a win against the Pelicans dropping a season high 40 points
Jose Calderon added 17 points and 5 assists
Some other players worth noting on a quiet night
Spencer Hawes 17/7/5
Omri Casspi 14 points in 17 minutes for the disappointingly pale face lacking Rockets
Goran Dragic 15/3/8
Luke Ridnour 16 points 5 assists
Mike Dunleavy 17/6
Kirk Hinrich 12 points 5 assists
Timofey Mozgov 14/9 had a sweet highlight dunk

I'm glad to see Parson back from his injury. Goran Dragic continues to impress. He better make the all star game. He deserves it! The kid just brings it night after night.

Damn! Seems the T-Wolves aren't getting it done. They need to be at least a few games over .500 by seasons end to make it into the playoffs in the West. In the East, they would be right in the playoff hunt.

Redick on fire! 23 points in 12 mins.! Shades of his Duke days.

Redick finished with 33/5 ast.

Lee, 28/11
Bogut, 10/10

Nowitzki, 27/8/3

I know why I don't watch BSPN. I tried to see some NBA highlights of last nights game, like Clippers/Mavs where
BSPN only showed late in the 4th quarter and only 1 shot of Redick. Anyone else of the right skin tone with 33 points would have had the entire highlights for themselves I'm sure. They did show Nowitzki a little more than Redick.

I'm happy to see the Suns back to their winning days. Goran Dragic has been amazing.

Minnesota just had a bad night shooting the ball. Everyone outside of Love shot a very low percentage. Too many missed shots from everyone and Rubio dissapeared again. 0-11 in games decided by under 4 points. The curse continues!

Minnesota is playing up in Canada against the Toronto Raptors. Never an easy place to play but this is a must win. Come on Twolves!
