Wisconsin offense has been stagnant. Maybe Bielema should consider switching Leo Musso back to offense they're in dire need of playmakers.

I'm not watching the game, but I'm guessing Campanaro is out. He doesn't have a catch or a carry for Wake Forest today.

Texas A&M has gotten underway against the New Miss Conformists.

while the Aggies are far too dark, they have two featured offensive playmakers who are White. and explosive. and putting up big numbers in A&M's first year in the SEC.

freshman dual-threat quarterback Johnny Manziel has been nothing less than spectacular. last week against Arkansas, Manziel set school and SEC records in his complete dismantling of the hapless Razorbacks' defense. he threw for a school-record 453 yards and 3 touchdowns and ran for another 104 yards (and 1 more touchdown) to also break the school and SEC records for with 557 yards of total offense.

on the year, Manziel has accounted for 16 touchdowns and HAS NOT COMMITTED A SINGLE TURNOVER. simply amazing, especially for a freshman. i hope i don't jinx him.

the other White playmaker is slot receiver Ryan Swope. Swope had five receptions for 141 yards and a touchdown, recording his school-record 10th career 100-yard game. the touchdown was an 80-yard beauty where he effortlessly cruised past the affletic secondary and jogged into the endzone.

on the year, Swope has 17 catches for 236 yards and 2 touchdowns. hopefully, his explosive performance last week indicates a growing chemistry with his freshman quarterback, and we'll continue to see big numbers from the senior speedster.

How convenient. Rees starts the game at QB for ND, but two missed catches by ND afflete WRs and so they put in Ghoul-son on the next series, and, magically, the affletic WRs are now catching them!

well, i did jinx Manziel. he finally threw a pick, but at least it didn't hurt the Aggies.

now, though, the game i've been waiting for ... Nebraska vs. Ohio State. go Martinez and Burkhead!

what a catch by Tyler Eifert!

Notre Dame's outstanding tight end/wideout just made his 100th career catch, and it was a beauty. he leapt over the outmatched "best cover man" for Miami and pulled down the jumpball from "Ghoul"son on the sideline AND he had the body control to get his feet down inbounds.

it was a terrific display of his outstanding athleticism.

J.C. - Texas A&M also has two potential first round OTs in Joeckel and Mathews

We all know the NFL can use more quality white o-linemen

100,000 cheering and squealing OSU DWFs in the stands. Pathetic.

tailback/slot receiver Ray Holley has over 100 yards of total offense and a touchdown in the first half for Louisiana Tech in their game against UNLV. he has been featured at tailback so far, and has 10 carries for 84 yards (and the touchdown) and 2 catches for 20 yards.

sadly, fellow tailback/slot receiver Hunter Lee has been virtually invisible. he has just 2 catches for 14 yards, so far.

Another white RB has gotten off to a great start.
Ray Holley of Louisiana Tech has 83 yards on 10 carries with a touchdown a couple of minutes before halftime.

what a run by Burkhead!

73 yards on a beautiful cutback, before he ran out of gas and was caught with the angle. and tack on a few more for the facemask! awesome! but you can tell he's still not quite a 100% with that knee.

Burkhead with a nice 73-yard run, although he doesn't appear to be 100% yet to me...looked like he still has a slight give in his bad knee.

Yeah you could tell with his open field running. I find it hilarious that all the negatives from so called draft experts were his lack of 20+ yard plays last year. I tried explaining it was the scheme with Martinez not passing well or running well, he had to fight tooth and nails to get the second level. Now Martinez has improved, he has a 20+ yard run in each game he played, a total of 5 plays over 20 yards, one was a reception, 3 of them went over 50 yards, and he hasn't even been at 100 percent for the most of the season

That's what I thought too, Highlander. Imagine what Rex would be doing if he were 100%.

too bad Abdullah has stolen 2 tds from Burkhead, otherwise Burkhead could get more national attention. At the rate he is going he could break 1k with like 150 carries, he needs to average like 90 yards per game though, with 6 scheduled games left, and whatever bowl game they play in. If they can somehow play in the big 10 championship game that would give him 8 games, he currently has 35 carries and 346 yards.

Meanwhile his main competition coming into the season Montee Ball has about 100 more yards on around 100 more carries. Somehow the draft experts will ignore this season, he will probabl "fall" to the 4th round.

I agree with you guys. Rex has started getting these big runs this year when he's been healthy. He had some incredible vision on that 73 yarder, and it was a great play, he made something out of not much on that play. This should help Rex's stock for the draft.

i saw the same thing, Highlander.

also, two more notes:

1) it's amazing how unselfish Burkhead is. he set up the touchdown run with a pitch and lead block on both touchdown runs. AND he had a nice block on another run by some other afflete. Burkhead is an incredible team-first winner.

2) just as the announcer was talking about Abdullah's speed in the open field on his second punt return, Ohio State's punter ran him down. ha! i wonder how fast the Buckeye punter is ...

Jimmy, based on how the announcers describe Abdullah as extremely explosive, I'm guessing their punter had to have ran in the 4.2-4.3 range to run him down. ;)

SMU's new negro offensive coordinator is awful.
Zach Line's NFL hopes are withering away week after week.

Alex Neutz, the unheralded (except here at CF) wide receiver for Buffalo, continues to quietly make explosive plays for an otherwise fairly-inept passing attack.

he once again led the Bulls in every receiving category, despite every opponent knowing there's no other receiving threat on the field: 4 catches for 77 yards, including a 55-yard touchdown catch-and-run where he shrugged off the defensive back like lion shrugging off a gnat.
