Anyone who believes these games can't be rigged -- ala game 6 of the NBA's Western Conference Finals (Kings v. Lakers) 10 years ago -- is crazy. From that standpoint, I've never disagreed with Big Unreal.

What happened tonight in Seattle is a total farce and I believe even the "real refs" would've allowed this. I'm surprised the PTB that's jamming this garbage/propaganda down our throats, didn't trot Wilson's blonde mudshark onto the field during his post game ESPN interview/love-fest. That would've made Russell's Kosher drenched moment even more "magical".

The NFL, the league that supposedly could do no wrong, now looks so minor league.

How on Earth is that not overturned on replay? It can't get any clearer than that. Jennings had the ball secured on his chest, while Tate had one outstretched arm just touching the ball Jennings was possessing.

On the plus side, the Packers absolutely deserved to lose. They seemed to make an effort to ignore Nelson the whole game. Serves them right.

The lockout will almost certainly end now.

It's too bad I don't own a TV anymore, so I don't get ESPN. I'm curious to see what kind of onanistic reveling will go on as the sports "experts" and pundits and other assorted human rubbish fawn over the great Russell Wilson, and what kind of twisting they do to throw under the rug all the miracles and gifts he received from the Refauxrees. How telling when his bad pass was well defended he started waving his jiggy arms to the heavens pleading with the Football Gods, "What? No flags!? Refs have you forsaken me!? But I'm special!"

The circus is just completely unwatchable at this point and I won't watch it until they bring in some real refs, who though utterly corrupt, were at least a little less obvious about it. Let's not forget, the Packers went out of their way to completely avoid targeting the great Jordy Nelson putting themselves in this position in the first place. If they don't want to utilize him why even keep him on the field? It's a waste of an eligible receiver.

Can't review who caught the ball. Why? Only God and the dummies running the NFL know.

I think the real refs make a few calls to influence scores for Vegas (they get their points almost perfect every week on how close the game will be decided by) but this is something different, and the replacement refs make it look believable. I mean these calls just happen to help a black qb win. I didn't watch the Eagles game the other week but Vick threw 4 interceptions and wins by one point. Last night the Ravens win by one point on a field goal kick that didn't exactly go over the bar to where even the mild mannered Bill is like wtf?

I hear one of the referees actually ruled it an INT but they went with the ref that said TD instead...

As I understood it the head ref did look under the hood and let the play on the field stand. Isn't that what happened?

I think he means he either has to rule it an incomplete pass or catch, you can't change the person who caught the ball through review. So even though it was clearly an interception it would instead have to be ruled incomplete.

Edit: But since when have the replacement refs giving a s**t about the rules?

Ok, I get it. Just one of the quarky rules that seems to serve no purpose. The head ref must have known looking at the replay this was going to blow up afterwards.

What if a ref had a complete brain fart and signaled td without an offensive reciever touching the ball at all? I guess the head ref would go to replay and have to stick to the call even though the ball was clearly intercepted without a chance of offensive possesion.

What a joke this "professional" league is! We've known it has been that way when it comes to race for years, but now this. Wow. I've never seen anything so ridiculous at the pro level before. Only in high school have I seen worse, and even then only once.

Dear God but now we have to listen to the talking heads tell us what a phenomenon Wilson is.

This crap is unwatchable anymore.

and these aren't hobos they picked up off the street, college refs, no way it should be this bad. Steve Young saying "the game is going so fast its impossible for them to get it right", well they have been doing it for a few weeks plus 4 weeks of preseason, they should be getting better instead of worse.

Well if somehow Seattle had loss on a call like this I am sure the local population would love for a reason to riot.

and fans keep talking about not watching anymore, but this is actually boosting ratings, people want to see how far this trainwreck can go.

They've been blowing calls the entire season, this time it just so happened to decide the game literally at the last second.

actually, it literally just happened last night. The ball was not over the pole when it crossed. The first time I have seen a reaction like that from Bellicheck.

This is clearly not just replacement refs making bad calls, there is clearly some sort of agenda here. Yes they have been doing this all season but it has been increasing. In the Saints game the kicker had one that looked identical to the Ravens one and it was called no good. Obvious holding on the 91 yard run. Obvious holding by the Chiefs all game long. A catch that the receiver clearly had his hand under and never touched the ground, initially ruled complete, then reviewed and reversed when none of the camera angles could see if it was or not, it was inconclusive, you can't reverse a call if that happens. There is an entire list. The only thing that is in common with the games I have seen is 3 elite qbs losing, Brady, Rodgers and Brees.

An obvious scenario is the replacements being bribed by the real refs to force a deal to happen.

Apparently there have been talks by some of the players saying they are thinking about going on strike until the real refs come back. If they were serious, the next game they should just come to play and kneel down every single play. Its not against the rules.

or have a fumble on the first play and keep it going like a rugby game, basically tackle the man with the ball but with no player really trying to take someone down before he pitched it behind him, just to make a mockery of the game, like the refs have been doing. I think that would be the funner of the two to watch. Maybe some Tecmo bowl type plays like the Bo Jackson one where nobody can tackle him and he runs around in circles before scoring.

According to the rules the play under review can either be ruled a catch or not a catch--I don't understand the problem, review it, rule it not a catch.

This is why we should probably all give up and understand we will never win the fight to expose the Caste System. The truth of the matter is that Dwid is right, Steve Young is right; there is nothing anyone can do to destroy/expose/bring down the NFL machine. The ratings are going to be higher than ever because, as Dwid said, people will tune in to see the train wreck. As they have proven for years to all of us, as they are currently proving to DWFs, the NFL can do anything they want and you WILL watch and you WILL accept what ever product they provide you, period.

well actually, if you think about it, its probably a really good time to spread our message to fans. They would definitely be more open minded than usual instead of the usual "they are going to put the best 22 on the field regardless of race" it seems like a few smart people would understand. If they let it get this bad why think they play the best players. Some of the best players already know how much of a joke the league is, which is why I think Matt Jones didn't try harder to get someone to sign him, there was interest from one team but he knew he was just going to be jerked around and probably wind up in some degrading role, like a Heisman winning qb that just took his team to the playoffs and won the first year now playing special teams for another team. Obviously he hasn't gotten it yet.

I mean our message is no different than the people saying get a deal done with the refs so the best product is on the field. Thats what we want, the best product, which means the best players, it just happens that there are a lot more Whites that should be playing. Of course there are many that have moved on in life that we can never get back but still a bunch out there.

I mean as of this moment dwfs realize the integrity of the game has been compromised, it just needs to be pointed out that it has been for years by doing things like only allowing a certain amount of Whites be in the league each year, and the number of Whites is pretty much always the same, no fluctuation. There are lots of White kids playing college ball every year at an elite level. Its not like we have a bunch of Whites retiring each year, so exactly how many Whites have they rejected to keep the ratio the same?

It can't be that hard of a message for the average person to understand, at least you would think.

And if Bellicheck had balls, why not field a Whiter team next week? He knows he is pushing it to the limit with the amount of Whites he plays which is why the lack of Whites on d for his team, well next week put guys like Bequette, Ebner etc out there.

Do you guys think something similar to what I just wrote should be turned into an article for the homepage? talk about the state of the NFL right now, then talk about how its been like this for a long time, just not obvious to the average fan, or maybe they noticed and just assumed blacks were better athletes and then mention the part about the number of Whites never fluctuating and how improbable that is and that the number of Whites retiring each year is not even close to the number of elite White NFL prospects coming out of college, so many just have to be screwed over. How many are we missing? how do we know they are always picking the very best Whites to keep it at that same level? Basically showing that the NFL hasn't been putting the best product on the field for a long long time.

Then, as tons of people are currently searching about the stuff going on with the refs, some are bound to come across the article, maybe I'll write it tomorrow but I need sleep.

Couldn't watch the game but I ducked into a bar to see who won. The TV volume was down and they were showing the last play. I saw that GB had clearly come down with the ball on what seemd to be a Hail Mary so I left assuming the Packers must have been ahead and had won because the Hail Mary had failed.

Then I get home and find out that I must not have seen what I had seen. But every time I watch the replay I see the same thing, but I must not be seeing what I seem to be seeing.

I mean who should I believe, some scab officials or my own lying eyes?

This is shaping up to be one weird season.

Actually I dont really watch the NFL at all. It is very boring to me with the 5 yard dump passes and those invariable runs for 3 yards. Its about as much fun as watching the NBA with the same predictable dunks, no creative passing or team play and every buzzer beater to win the game has been done to death.
Give me hockey before the goalies bulked up to look like the Michelin Man.

Im in shock, I just dont believe it.

http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/new-.../_/id/4730742/explaining-woodhead-over-ridley

Reading the comments by all the DWF's just makes my blood boil.

Danny Woodhead the 4.31 runner is slower than 4.66 Ridley? Even football speed aside, .3 seconds is pretty visible over 40 yards.

Its disgusting the way our athletes are demonized by their own fans for simply being white.

The comments are classic! Woodhead is too slow, too small, too white, according to the DWFs. A very few of them might see a bit of a problem on defense. None mention the 80 yard touchdown drive. Amazing how dumb some people can be.
