Correct the f*cking call!
How on Earth is that not overturned on replay? It can't get any clearer than that. Jennings had the ball secured on his chest, while Tate had one outstretched arm just touching the ball Jennings was possessing.
On the plus side, the Packers absolutely deserved to lose. They seemed to make an effort to ignore Nelson the whole game. Serves them right.
The lockout will almost certainly end now.
I think the real refs make a few calls to influence scores for Vegas (they get their points almost perfect every week on how close the game will be decided by) but this is something different, and the replacement refs make it look believable. I mean these calls just happen to help a black qb win. I didn't watch the Eagles game the other week but Vick threw 4 interceptions and wins by one point. Last night the Ravens win by one point on a field goal kick that didn't exactly go over the bar to where even the mild mannered Bill is like wtf?Anyone who believes these games can't be rigged -- ala game 6 of the NBA's Western Conference Finals (Kings v. Lakers) 10 years ago -- is crazy. From that standpoint, I've never disagreed with Bigunreal.
What happened tonight in Seattle is a total farce and I believe even the "real refs" would've allowed this. I'm surprised the PTB that's jamming this garbage/propaganda down our throats, didn't trot Wilson's blonde mudshark onto the field during his post game ESPN interview/love-fest. That would've made Russell's Kosher drenched moment even more "magical".
Can't review who caught the ball. Why? Only God and the dummies running the NFL know.

As I understood it the head ref did look under the hood and let the play on the field stand. Isn't that what happened?
I think he means he either has to rule it an incomplete pass or catch, you can't change the person who caught the ball through review. So even though it was clearly an interception it would instead have to be ruled incomplete.
and these aren't hobos they picked up off the street, college refs, no way it should be this bad. Steve Young saying "the game is going so fast its impossible for them to get it right", well they have been doing it for a few weeks plus 4 weeks of preseason, they should be getting better instead of worse.
Well if somehow Seattle had loss on a call like this I am sure the local population would love for a reason to riot.
actually, it literally just happened last night. The ball was not over the pole when it crossed. The first time I have seen a reaction like that from Bellicheck. They've been blowing calls the entire season, this time it just so happened to decide the game literally at the last second.
Actually I dont really watch the NFL at all. It is very boring to me with the 5 yard dump passes and those invariable runs for 3 yards. Its about as much fun as watching the NBA with the same predictable dunks, no creative passing or team play and every buzzer beater to win the game has been done to death.According to the rules the play under review can either be ruled a catch or not a catch--I don't understand the problem, review it, rule it not a catch.
This is why we should probably all give up and understand we will never win the fight to expose the Caste System. The truth of the matter is that Dwid is right, Steve Young is right; there is nothing anyone can do to destroy/expose/bring down the NFL machine. The ratings are going to be higher than ever because, as Dwid said, people will tune in to see the train wreck. As they have proven for years to all of us, as they are currently proving to DWFs, the NFL can do anything they want and you WILL watch and you WILL accept what ever product they provide you, period.
Im in shock, I just dont believe it.

Reading the comments by all the DWF's just makes my blood boil.
Danny Woodhead the 4.31 runner is slower than 4.66 Ridley? Even football speed aside, .3 seconds is pretty visible over 40 yards.
Its disgusting the way our athletes are demonized by their own fans for simply being white.
