Sorry for the long post, I don't post as frequently and have a lot of great advice to give:
I heard snow mention the PTB should worry about quality over quantity with black QBs. We all know that the agenda at hand from the CMs- wants to inflate black QB numbers up toward 50% (or more) in the NFL.
Considering what we are up against, I suggest that more of us make an effort to respond in comment sections below articles and on message boards to fight for OUR QUALITY over quantity hand picked players that have been snubbed by the draft process this year. It's a three pronged argument of comparisons of white snubs to black draftees, (ie. film breakdown, production, measureables). We now have great white RBs to compare our guys to as well to strengthen our points.
Considering I'm a wealth of knowledge of the RB and WR positions these are the 4 players I think we should be making a concerted effort to create buzz for:
RB:
1. Chase Reynolds (as an FCS player, probably would have been a day three pick if black- if not, than a very highly coveted UDFA. With his short area quickness, hands and toughness for his size, he'd probably find a roster spot by proving himself in training camp and the pre-season if black)
WR:
1. Jeff Maehl (should have been drafted anywhere from the top of the 2nd round to end of the 3rd round...his agility measurables and route running are ridiculously good, he even showed he can get downfield for long catches at times last year- ala the BCS championship game. He can play the slot or be a great #2 outside WR)
2. Dane Sanzenbacher (should have been a 3rd or 4th round pick, he's a slightly poorer version of Maehl)
3. Tyler Beiler (According to JC, arguably the top small school WR out there. His elite measureables and production in the lower levels warrent a look...probably would have been drafted with a day three pick if black, although I've never seen him play so don't know for sure.)
Hopefully some of you other guys can make a TE list, a DL list, a LB list and a DB list!
