Once again, I have that "unquenched thirst" feeling when it comes to Woodhead.  They never give him the ball enough, I always think, "tonight is definitely the night," and, of course, the ONE night he gets more carries than Green-Ellis, the Pats offense can't get back on the field.

I agree. Danny needs more touches. He always provides a spark and NEVER goes backwards. His production is amazing! He gets stopped and always wiggles around for a couple more yards. Could be that BB doesn't want him to take too much of a beating over the course of a game. He got creamed a couple times tonight by huge guys.

Packers won the time of pos. battle big time, 41-19!

How many third and a mile drives by the Packers were saved by stupid affletes grabbing face masks? Fifteen yards and a first down. I really hate that penalty. Too severe, needs to be changed, especially when a couple lineman get tangled up having virtually nothing to do with the play.

Why does GB seem to kick the backsides of so many teams only to lose it at the last minute? It's unbelievable how often they've managed to do that last year and this.

Hernandez does too much hot dogging. His high stepping, foot dragging routine was dumb. He barely made it into the end zone.

I thought Danny played great tonight and was the "feature back" during that critical drive that setup that go ahead Hernandez TD. I think Danny ran the ball at least 5 times, and demonstrated unreal power for his weight and finesse to keep the drive alive. I was pretty impressed with that.

Someone else, mentioned how these games fly by when we have a interest in who is playing. That is so true.

I also think BB saves Woody for the second half when the opposing teams defenses start to tire and have to face Danny's burst and skills.

Some points on week 15:
Tim Tebow played remarkably well for a rookie who has been considered a "big time project". Tebow only threw 16 times, but completed a solid 50% of his attempts for his first start with a great 8.6 YPA. Tebow was also the ENTIRE Broncos running game. New Bronco GM- if you can hear any voice of reason, "pick up Jake Sharp to split carries with Moreno next year. Moreno is NOT good enough to be a workhorse featured back and should be used as part of a backfield by committee (if he even deserves that if he plays like he did tonight)"

2. Very disappointing to hear about a third concussion for Collie, who looks like such an elite WR out there when he plays for the Colts. It could be career threatening if these concussions continue next year.

3. I underestimated John Kuhn's ability a bit. Tonight brought back a fresher picture of how Kuhn was used earlier in the season. He displayed good hands out of the backfield and nice one cut and hit the hole hard nosed running. He even made a few guys miss tonight, which showed he's pretty nimble for a 255 lb "FB". Kuhn is good enough to be number two tailback for a number of teams in the NFL who could get 1/3 of RB touches, but would do himself a service by losing 10-15 lbs if he gets this role. His YPC has been brought down recently by being almost exclusively used in short yardage and without a lead blocker. I also didn't like the FB sneak to Kuhn called twice in a row by the goal line. Not usually a good play unless they really don't expect it and with Kuhn they would. It's much better to have a running start with a lead blocker in goal line situations.

4. With the Browns game: It looked like it came down to the Browns falling behind and time of possession. McCoy played well, but this team is built upon protecting leads and closing games with Hillis, who only carried 14 times today.

5. Danny Woodhead is a beast and consistently made yards out of nothing tonight. He almost broke a long one, but appeared to make the wrong choice to cut to the left instead of right at the last minute. I always thought of Lawfirm as a solid powerback that- due to his size- you could hand the ball to late to close the game and continue to wear down the D. However, Woodhead is a powerhouse for his size and made more consistent positive runs tonight and has most of the season as well. Lawfirm had 6 carries for 38 yards, but 33 of them came on one carry. Bottom line: Woodhead needs more carries!

Also do you guys believe the return by offensive lineman Dan Connolly? He may be just over 300 pounds, but what an athlete for his size. I hear he set the record for longest kickoff return by a lineman. He ran that return back more like a LB or smaller DE would ie. quick feet, power and balance with a surprising second gear for his size. He certainly isn't a "sumo".

Yeah absolutely.

Just a question Celtic: What do you think would be the proper split of carries between Lawfirm and Woodhead? I think Woodhead should be getting 2/3s and Lawfirm 1/3, although 60/40 would work just as well. Lawfirm's a productive "overachiever" (I generally don't like to use this word on an athlete of any race, but this is a good reversal of stereotypes lol) tailback, but isn't Elite the way Woody is.

In GB I think Kuhn deserves 1/3 of the carries and maybe even more with the lack of consistency in the Packers running attack this season. Kuhn had a good YPC tonight if not for the two FB sneaks he had called to him.

Tim Tebow, Matt Flynn, and Rex Grossman all exceeded the low expectations the media and DWFs had for them in their debut starts (Tebow, Flynn) and their first start in some time (Grossman). All were subsequently downplayed as the Caste media had a group orgasm over Vick's heroics.
And by my count there were only 5 black starting QBs this week, with just Jason Campbell and Vick winning. (Webb starts for the Vikings tonight in a game they will likely lose.)

Some random observations:

Belicheck isn't "saving" Danny Woodhead for anything. In an article posted on CF, BB's praise for Woodhead was astonishingly muted, as he described him simply as "a good third down back." That's what he's viewed as, regardless of how well he performs (and right now, he's doing better, in relative terms, than any RB in the league- leads in yards per touch). If he hasn't earned at least 15 touches per game by now, he's not going to. It's incredibly frustrating, but I don't think Danny will ever get more touches than his "quota" per game.

The "amazing" Mike/Michael Vick comeback yesterday, capped off by the "miracle" punt return, pretty much ensures that he will be named the league's MVP, regardless of what Brady does. The only thing I will say about that game is- if this Vick story continues to its logical conclusion (Super Bowl victory), then I predict there will a lot more people on this forum converting to my theories.

Cleveland's OC Brian Daboll cannot be that stupid. He watches the film- how can he refuse to run the kind of plays (off tackle, pitchouts, power sweeps) that have resulted in big gains by Hillis virtually every time? Also, why is even Colt McCoy starting to ignore him as a receiver out of the backfield?

Why do we keep hearing the mantra that Hillis will get injured or is breaking down, from the "huge workload" Cleveland gives him, when that chubby, microscopic turd Ray Rice was given THIRTY SEVEN touches in yesterday's game, at his size, and no one talks about him breaking down or getting hurt? Btw, Rice is the latest and least effective version of the "one man team" back that has propelled so many fantasy teams to championships over the past twenty years or so. Marshall Faulk, Priest Holmes, like Rice, were force fed the ball every game, yet somehow the defenses, who allegedly watch so many hours of film of their upcoming opponent, can't figue out that the key to stopping those teams is to focus attention on the one offensive player they force the ball to?

Speaking of this legendary film study teams do, have any of you caught the odious Merrill Hoge's act on "NFL Matchup" each week? This clown, with a straight face, brags about how many hours he spent that week watching film. Usually this fanciful figure is around 80 hours. Think about that- who believes this jock sniffer is basically doing TWO full time jobs worth of work on film study each week? Sorry, Merrill, nobody who makes as much money as you is spending even half of that each week on their "job."

When will someone pull the mask off the joke about NFL "conditioning?" There is no way Vince Woolfork, B.J. Raja, etc. are doing any kind of excerise at all, except perhaps weight lifting. How do these incredibly obese "athletes" avoid dropping dead in droves? What magic allows such out of shape people, in heavy padding, to survive like this?

There was a story this past week about how Peyton Manning recently invited the immortal Pierre Garcon into his sacred "tree pattern" pregame workout routine. This was a high honor, previously reserved only for Marvin Harrison and then Reggie Wayne. Wonder why Dallas Clark never rated this? How about Peyton's allged "best friend" Brandon Stokely, after his 1000 yd., 10 TD season a few years back? Or why not the immensely more talented Austin Collie? This is a very clear indication of how even the most relatively white-friendly QBs overtly favor even the most mediocre black WRs.

Finally, on a real positive note, Tim Tebow's debut was incredible. Wonder what the jock sniffers would have said about a black QB who ran a long TD, and threw a perfectly placed lengthy TD pass, in his first NFL start? He is such a likeable player.

From a handoff standpoint, 50/50 isn't a bad thing, considering where we started. My only problem with the way the backs are rotated in for the Patriots is that when Law Firm is in, it's almost always going to be a run, as he is not a good blocker at all. On the sack by Desmond Bishop in the first half, Green-Ellis completely mis-read the blitz, and was just over helping on the end while right behind him Brady was getting mashed. With Woodhead in the game, the defense has no idea at all if it's going to be a run or a pass, as he is easily one of the most complete backs in the NFL.

Woodhead is to me the most exciting player to watch in the NFL. He reminds me somewhat of Barry Saunders, who I watched for years here in Detroit. He always seems to get something on a carry and to see him wiggle around, disappear in the pack and then come out flying is great football. I would say his style is unique, there aren't many guys who use their small stature and shiftiness to such advantage. I think after a brief racial apprenticeship he may be a feature back. Although I will add from watching their games that Green-Ellis is a pretty good productive back too.

I also believe that Tebow will be a good pro-QB. He's a proven winner with good physical skills, good intelligence, and good work and personal ethic. He also has an already large following. Why he wasn't taken by a Florida team is one of the great caste mysteries of the last draft.

Is there any more deliberation as to the ethnicity of "Mystery Meat,"Â￾ Aaron Hernandez?

On his first touchdown catch (which was incredibly simple), he flexed his scrawny muscles to the crowd like a boastful, arrogant Negro. On his second touchdown catch (in which he broke the feeble tackle attempt of a pencil-neck CB), he hot-dogged his way into the endzone"¦dragging his feet and high-stepping (ala "Neon"Â￾ Deon Sanders) in a wretched display of Afro-Sportsmanship.

Inane gyrating, especially after the most mundane of plays, isn't something that any white football player (aside from Texans' WR, David "Wigger Boy"Â￾ Anderson) has ever been involved in.

Hernandez has jet-black, Amerindian-like hair, jet-black eyes, and a trademark Mestizo-like skull structure. Obviously, his skin is several shades darker than that of a real white man. During his time at Florida, he would routinely wear a set of large diamond earrings during his media interviews "¦a "fashion accessory"Â￾ so customarily dawned by black street thugs (or rich women, take your pick). In other words"¦I have no clue what combination of people(s) spawned this enigma. He'd almost certainly look more "at home"Â￾ in a place such as Brazil.

Aside from the performances of Kuhn and Woodhead, the Packers-Patriots game was somewhat of a disappointment in terms of showcasing our athletes' true ability. Ninkovich and Fletcher both had sacks, but Matthews and Hawk had a quiet game. Welker managed only three catches, and had a few drops on difficult patterns. Dan Connolly, despite being a 300+ pound guard, managed to easily run past the Packers' black kickoff coverage team for 71 yards on a squib kick. Matt Flynn and the Packers deserved to win this game.

A lot of posters have been anguishing about the Eagles beating NY Giants, focusing on Vick.
I actually see a lot more to like in the Eagles than the Giants. What is there to cheer for in that NY team? A white QB and T.E. Big deal.
The Eagles have some interesting players such as Chad Hall, Colt Anderson, Riley Cooper, Garrett Mills and of course Celek and Owen Schmitt. Not saying it is a great squad but, even with Vick, is slightly better than NYG in my opinion - unless I'm missing something.

Meester Hernandez eez half Puerto Rican, half Italian. He was born and raised in Connecticut, so it figures. There is a large Italian population, and the biggest minority group (outside of blacks) are Puerto Ricans. He was also a big "wacky tobacky" user. And it's easy to learn all of the black wayz of doing things when you hang out with them constantly at Thug U North, Florida Gators.Edited by: FootballDad

FootballDad, I hoped northwinds might actually look up some info on Hernandez and find out that he is mixed. I appreciate you spelling it out for him though.

It doesn't take much research to know that he doesn't act White at all. Like Thrashen posted, just watch how he plays the game. He's your typical cultural Marxist desired tan everyman of the not too distant future, hip hop ghetto attitude, look and all. Behavior often helps fill in the blanks of identification with race.

From a pure ethnicity standpoint, he could be as white as any other player that we follow here on Caste Football, but his "style" is at odds with what we would typically find in a white player. The extensive tatoos also make him look more like Shawn Merriman than Jason Witten.

Here is an article discussing Manning's ultra-private pre-game "passing tree."Â￾ Apparently, during Manning's entire NFL career, only Harrison and Wayne have been invited to the guild"¦.and now, the prodigious underachiever, Pierre Garcon.

Brandon Stokley? No. Dallas Clark? No. Austin Collie? No. Rest assured that Manning's most steadfast scapegoat, Blair White (Bill Schroeder, Jr.), will never have enough melanin in his skin, or in his soul, to enter the Caste Microcosm that is his affirmative action "passing tree."Â￾

The Colt offense simply doesn't work without Austin Collie, who (pending injuries) may eventually be the most talented and productive wide receiver in the NFL (which he would have been this very season). As Don astutely noted, had Collie been playing the right flanker position ahead of Garcon this season, he likely would have never been injured. If Austin Collie isn't "good enough"Â￾ to play outside"¦then certainly no other white receiver need apply.

I really hope that Manning isn't morphing into Brett Favre or Carson Palmer. I believe we all remember his "kid"Â￾ brother Eli's participation in ESPN's ultra-racist "comedy skit"Â￾ featuring the unfunny Kenny Mayne, Usain Bolt, and Eli Manning. Somebody yells out "what is football speed?"Â￾ And Eli says with a smile: "it's when slow-ass white guys play one of the safety positions!"Â￾ es, this "skit"Â￾ was actually played during NFL Sunday Countdown.

Marshall Faulk had elite wide receivers like Holt and Bruce not to mention, Kurt Warner who might make it in the HOF. Yes Coordinators aren't as bright as they would have us believe, the same with players on defense. I can watch hours of film, does that mean I will know how to break down the defense and how to stop them? not to mention some players are just more athletic than others, and most defenses are not that great. Some coordinators know how to adjust when teams gear to stop one player, if they have other players to use. Unfortunately Hillis doesn't have either of those things, so his season has been incredible given the circumstances. Bill Bellicheck was one of the first to stop the greatest show on turf in the Superbowl. Bill is considered a defensive genius, so this shows the talent level of most coaches. Most know how to copy stuff once it is out there but few are that smart. Bill knew that the offense ran through Faulk unlike others who would try to stop the deep passing game. He was obsessed with stopping Faulk, he had his players sick of practicing, because every day the entire drill consisted of a guy playing as Marshall, and would do the same things Marshall did, and Bill would scream "where is he!" no matter where he was on the field or whether the ball was going to him, he wanted his players to know where he was on the field at all times and what he was doing on every play. Interesting because Bill Bellicheck starting using Kevin Faulk more like this, although it was a poor man's Marshall Faulk. Then he grabbed Welker, who the offense almost ran through, Welker did everything that Marshall did except take handoffs, BUT he was still using Kevin Faulk in this way. Now he has Danny who is the complete package, who he uses like Marshall along with Welker. The thing is, Bill Bellicheck is a defensive minded coach and does not want his offense to run through one single person which addresses your next point about Bellicheck not thinking much of Danny. He thinks a lot of Danny, but isn't going to run the offense through one single person, because he knows if that one person is shut down then then the offense can be shut down. That is why he spreads the touches around. It has always been like this. The only player to get a to get a ton of carries was Corey Dillon, and that was probably more out of need than how Bill wanted to run the offense. Maybe he will never get 15 touches on a consistent basis, he is going to get the amount of touches that the gameplan calls for and what matchups Bill thinks he can exploits. This is evident by the fact that Woodhead got 16 touches against the Ravens. I wouldn't rule out 12 to 14 touches in the future. As far as what he said about Woodhead, he doesn't go out of his way to give high praise to any player on his team, no player is above the team in his lockerroom. I guess you didn't see Bill and Woodhead after the Jets win. BB likes white players and isn't limiting someone on some "quota" he does what he wants and likes white players. Did you see him shake the hand of Hillis after he whooped the Patriots? he never shakes anybody's hands, but had nothing but respect for him. Bill had his eye on Woodhead since his first preseason game, so its obvious that he thinks the guy is special. Woodhead is on pace for 129 touches, which would equal around 147 had he been there for the first few games, not to mention his first game where he was still learning the playbook and only got 3 touches. 147 touches is more than Kevin Faulk ever got in a season except for 2 years which was earlier in his career, and like the Dillon situation, it was more out of need. Faulk only avg 3.5 ypc and 3.6 ypc those years. It is obvious that Bill wouldn't have used him that much unless there was a better option. Danny is on a team with guys like Welker, Gronkowski, Hernandez etc, not to mention Law Firm is a good back, completely different skillset though. Bill is not going to say "well that guy has x amount of talent so he will get x amount of touches". It will go on what he thinks he can exploit in the defense. Bill knows that defenses are becoming less physical and smaller, so Law Firm will not go anywhere, his new idea is to spread teams out and have a power guy grind out yards once in a while, he has stated this, before he even got Woodhead.

why is even Colt McCoy starting to ignore him as a receiver out of the backfield?

Colt McCoy isn't ignoring Hillis out of the backfield, defenses have been putting multiple guys on Hillis when he goes out into the flat, unlike Jake Delhomme, McCoy isn't hanging out Hillis to dry. He targeted him 3 times in favorable situations, and he had 2 catches for 23 yards, unlike the weeks Delhomme played and he would have multiple catches for 3 or 4 yards total.

"There was a story this past week about how Peyton Manning recently
invited the immortal Pierre Garcon into his sacred "tree pattern"
pregame workout routine. This was a high honor, previously reserved only
for Marvin Harrison and then Reggie Wayne."

There is nothing sacred about this. It is just to make the affletes feel special and hoping they don't realize the reason for this workout is because they have a lower iq than their white counterparts and need more work when learning the offense and help with route running etc.

Did you ever stop to think what this pre game warm up is? its going
through the route tree. Stokley, Clark, they all know how to do this
kind of stuff and work with him outside of practice. Guys like Garcon,
Wayne and even Harrison need to do this kind of stuff, even before
games, especially after Harrison completely disappears in the
postseason. The reason why? partly because he is a choker, and another
reason is probably too much time on his hand, and put in less practice
as the season went on. We all know that Manning said their was a
completely different Marvin outside of Indy. Seriously, why would Clark
or any of those other guys need to work on the routes pre game? Its what they worked on all week, they don't need a reminder a few hours before the game. They have a memory that last longer than a day. Last time I
checked Clark was a beast before his injury, he certainly didn't need
any pre game work with Manning to get on the same page, because he was
already on the same page. Garcon NEEDS the work. They are forcing him
into the offense and Manning is out of options besides trying to force
him to maximize his potential and not make mistakes. Not every qb is Brett Favre and I am not going to jump to conclusions and put down a white player without knowing everything that is going on.

As for Manning, he loved Stokley, as well as most white receivers. This is even more obvious if you have attended his passing camp, in the summer, he loved working with Dicky Lyons Jr and lobbied to get him on the team but as I mentioned before, he doesn't have the final say in EVERYTHING. I think it may have something to do with being with his own kind, as well as his brother Cooper Manning, who was the slot receiver on their high school team when Cooper was a senior and Manning was just starting out. Not to mention the years they grew up together playing pitch and catch. Manning wouldve chosen Ole Miss had Cooper not been diagnosed with Spinal Stenosis. He probably envisions himself out there on the field throwing to Cooper, and Cooper was the stereotypical slot receiver.

Yes Daboli is that bad and will be out of a job next year. He outthinks himself and wants to trick the offense instead of just playing power football. In his mind hes thinking "the left side is the best to run it behind, so they won't expect a run to the right" When in reality he should just say, look im running this play, try and stop me. There are other play callers that get like this, including Sean Payton, who outhinks himself at times and gets too cute.

The ridiculous amount of tv timeouts allow sumos like Wilfork to stay on the field, as well as being subbed out every few downs. I agree that these guys are out of shape and shouldn't be in the league in this condition. This is why many defensive players are rotated in and out of the game. Notice how offensive linemen are never rotated out, yet most of them don't gas out, and by most I mean the white ones. The other ones get lazy and are more prone to penalties as the game wears on.

I will bet you 100 dollars that Michael Vick does not win the Super Bowl. I would bet more but that is all I have in my bank account right now. The Eagles are a good team, DeSean Jackson is one of the top receivers in the league, Vick is a choker. The Giants have a horrible defense, he didn't do anything that special yesterday.

If Tebow were black the media would be masturbating over his performance right now, if he were black he wouldn't have had to wait until the end of the season to start. I am visiting relatives in Denver right now and was listening to the game on the radio. During the pre game show some "expert" came on and talked about how Tebow couldn't run and do the things he did in college because "linebackers are bigger AND faster than him", he even went on to say that there were linemen faster than him which is even more ridiculous. The announcers during the game were mentioning the same thing, about how he couldn't run in the NFL like he did in college because players are just more athletic than him. Right after they said that he ran for a 40 yard td. They seemed shocked and said "how did he do that" Tebow ran the same time as LeGarret Blount, except had a better 10 yard split and the fastest 3 cone drill time as well as one of the top agility drills and verticals, not for quarterbacks, but for runningbacks. Blount has had no problem rushing this season.

As far as being told that Hillis will wear down, it is all an attempt to reduce him to a Mike Alstott role, because apparently physical backs can't last in the NFL, even though guys like Steven Jackson don't have a problem. Hillis delivers the punishment rather than receives it, but if they pound that into the dwfs heads long enough, they will think that he isnt capable of more than half of the workload and needs someone else, and it will "lengthen his career" yet when the idea of Gerhart getting 1/3rd of the carries to lengthen AP's career there is outrage.

Tough I think Woodhead should get around 40% of the carries with Green Ellis picking up the rest of the slack. Danny is also a better receiver and looked very good picking up blitzes last night just as he has all season long. Sometimes I worry when the Pats run up the middle with Woodhead, I would definitely feel better if he had a bruising fullback in front of him..

As for Kuhn I honestly feel he has gotten faster as the season hasprogressed. McCarthy should use him and underachieving Jackson as his main backs. I liked the fact that Flynn was confident in checking the ball down to Kuhn who had a great game last night!Nance has no business being on the field, and Starks is a big guy who runs straight ahead, not sure about his vision. Many people claim Kuhn is actually 260 or better. He is big and probably needs to take a couple steps before he gets rolling. After shifting out of low he moves very well. He must be watching Peyton Hillis highlights. He's starting to hurdle defenders and launches himself for first downs and TDs.

When he gets a head of steam it takes a village to bring him down.

Only 40%? So then you must think law firm is a better pure runner than Danny? Not me. I think in a caste-less world Danny would be getting nearly all the carries with Law Firm spelling him and doing some short yardage duty.

Brett Favre has been upgraded from "out" to questionable and it's being reported that he'll start tonight after throwing well in pre-game warmups.

Will be interesting to see how the African players on both teams perform in the rough weather in Minny.

Just saw breaking news that Favre will start tonight. Also, Peterson is listed as inactive, so does this mean Gerhart gets the start?

Given the conditions and impact of the game (a MIN win will help GB), this is turning into a must-see game tonight.
