How long will it be before another team signs this lazy total loser, who was drafted in the second round along with another complete dud, Malcolm Kelly, based on his still latent "potential"?

Thomas mustered only 40 receptions in 34 career games, and was never able to establish himself on offense following the arrival of head coach Mike Shanahan. Thomas is under contract for the league minimum through 2011, and will undoubtedly latch on with a wide receiver thin team such as the Rams.

jaxvid, The guy who told you slaves were "beaten all the time" has no idea of how things really worked in the ante-bellum south. For example, some planters even had slave elders sentence slaves who had commited offenses. The whole topic is interesting. Here's one you can tell people that'll knock their socks off. There were blacks who owned black slaves (obviously, not well known) during slavery days in our south, not to mention American Indians. As I said, an interesting subject.

Yes in Louisiana plenty of black people owned black slaves. Some slaves could earn money on the side, and buy their freedom. The master could free them if they wanted, but in French Louisiana it had to be approved, in Spanish Louisiana it didn't. Both periods had the Code Noir said you had to give them Sundays off, make sure they were properly fed, if they were sick you had to take care of them, if they got too old you had to care of them.
I have also have heard that most slaves didn't get beaten, if you tried to sell them and they had scars they would be worthless, meaning he was a trouble maker. Plus, how much work can a slave do if he has been beaten senseless?

It was a pretty bizarre move. Maybe Shanahan was recalling McNabb's sole Super Bowl appearance, when he ran the worst two-minute offense conceivable at the end of that game, clock managment so pathetic that one could cite it when mentioning possible thrown games.
But I think it indicates that Shanahan feels the Redskins are not playoff caliber this year and it's time tocontinue rebuildingnext year without McNabb. Such an insult to the always fragile black ego makes that almost a foregone conclusion now.

Yep, McNabb will start coming apart now. It'll take the form of injury, physical or otherwise. He feels he's been disrespected and there are few blacks who can endure that. It'll be interesting to watch him from now on out. It's always just a matter of time with blacks until they come apart. The only question is, what form it'll take and how soon. It's extremely rare that a black doesn't louse himself up.

This is an interesting article. I wasn't even aware of this player until just now. He's 150lbs and playing the in the NFL yet Woodhead is criticized as small at 200lbs and 5'9.

with an explosive 95-yard kickoff return in the team's game against the
Detroit Lions. The touchdown gave the Redskins a temporary lead:

halfback Michael "Pinball" Clemons was one of the smallest to set foot
on an NFL field. At 5-foot-6 and 166 pounds he was close to Banks' size.
His NFL career lasted just eight games, though, and he failed to get in
the end zone. (He would later go on to have a long, prosperous career both on and off the field in Canada.)

There was a national uproar among the media and DWFs when Fat Bastard benched McNabb for the second half of a game a couple of years ago. But this -- benching him at the end of a game when the Redskins could have still won with a score -- and replacing him with the despised Rex Grossman yet -- should really cause some interesting fallout.

McNabb was taken out of the game because, according to Shanahan, was not well-versed enough in the offensive coordinator's 2-minute drill offense. What? He's a "hall of fame qb" (according to DWFs), been with the team since mini-camps, and can't grasp the offense?

The only thing that ticks me off, of course, is that if it weren't for his skin priviledge, he most likely would not have made his HIGH SCHOOL team, and would ABSOLUTELY NOT have gotten a scholarship from a D1 university (Kansas State)!!! I would be willing to bet that their are hundreds of white players in the 5'6" to 5'10" range who are the equal to or better than this afflete, but are "blacked out" of skill positions starting in youth football.

I agree, FootballDad. He supposedly has 10.22 100m speed as well which gives him "unlimited upside." The DWF's won't see him as a little guy, just an athletic speedster with game changing ability. A 5'6 white receiver would be a laughing stock on a Divisioin III team, let alone the NFL. I don't see fat boy Warren Sapp or Michael Irvin laughing at this kid though.

Both of Shanahan's stories are funny, and very damning of the quarterback who was royally toasted by the media nationally when he was traded to Washington. He's probably "lost the team" now, though. It may come down to Shanahan being allowed by Snyder to remake the team in his image, or be yet another Blackskins coach shown the door after a failed season or two.
BTW, both of Shanahan's reasons for lifting McNabb are accurate. All anyone has to do is watch the lastseveral minutes of the Eagles-Patriots Super Bowl. An exhausted, nearly wretching McNabb had no clue what he was doing. But then again a couple of years agoDonovan "discovered" that the NFL has overtime. And he's the "brainiest" of the black QBs in the league.

Don, it was actually tie games in the regular season that McNabb discovered- although still a bit shocking that he was oblivious to that rule being a veteran QB. I'm not a McNabb hater, but I can't stand the racist "Blackskin" team overall. Snyder is a cultural Marxist just like Dan Rooney.

I can just see the grand announcement later this week that the Blackskins have signed JaMarcus "FatAss" Russell, so that he can be tutored and mentored by the "great" Donovan McFlabb. They'll keep Grossman, but John Beck will be history. It will be presented in sweeping, grandiose terms by the media, and all of the Blackskins DWF's will salivate anew over their new fataffletic savior!

I think the story has changed again, folks: Saw a scroll on ESPN today and it said Kyle Shanahan, his son, claimed "Big Don" (as the bro's have dubbed him) had "Hamstring issues", forcing Rex Grossman into the game. Looks like the rabid-dog, frothing at the mouthanger from the likes of Keyshawn Johnson and the other ESPN girls has the Shanahan's running scared.
Best they can hope for is thatultra-Marxist Dan Snyder will have their back, and he might....But it will come at a very steepprice -- the Shanahan's will have to turn over more control to the diminutive Commrade, who seems to possess a serious hatred for whites and limited football knowledge. Next move, undoubtdly, will be finding a suitable heir for the aging McNabb. Shanny can forget targeting a white QB, it will either be a re-tread like Russell, a free agent signee like Vick, or the youngster from Auburn with a ultra-radiantsmile, bubbly personality (despite his criminal record)androcket arm, i.e. Cam Newton.
Shanahan so badly wanted to get back into football after sitting out 2009. But he made a huge mistake going to the Skins, despite all the money he got from Mr. Air America. In terms of being a control freak and a full blown Caste supporter, Snyder makes Jerry Jones look tame. Shanahan should've sat out this season and gone to a Dallas or Jacksonville next season. Heck, he should've taken Ralph Wilson offer to go toBuffalo this season-- where he would've picked his own players and turned them into contenders in fast order.
Snyder absolutely humilated the greatest coach in Skins history (Joe Gibbs) a couple years ago, after begging him to come out of retirement. Not long after Gibbs traded a high pick for Mark Brunnell, Snyder forced Cambell on him. Gibbs wanted Archuleta to lead his defense, and soon as the DWF's spotted he was human (missed a tackle), Snyder turned souron Adam and Gibbs (who coveted him).
