2010 Redskins

I wonder if, ala the racial pandering procedure outlined in Bill Glass's book, Mike Shanahan gathered the team's contingent of black players -- in other words 80% of the team -- and patiently explained to them why McNabb was being benched. Edited by: Don Wassall

I have never seen such drama about a qb that is clearly on the other side of the hill and rolling downhill rapidly. Shanny is wishing he stayed on the beaches of Florida instead of inheriting this soap opera......

Here is an interesting question. Will the affletes on the Blackskins play even worse for Grossman now that their homey has been benched? I think Grossman is going to have a much harder time than McNabb. Shanahan will totally lose control of this team and the end result will be losing his job.

Aw shucks... I wanted to see McNabb throw at least 20 picks!!

Right now, McNabb has 14 picks (should be even more, but the Giants' dropped 2 easy ones)..

This really is a priceless quote and sums up D. McNabb.

As an Eagles phan I had to live through ten years of mediocrity with McNabb as well as all the drama. FatBastard (love that name) got a ton of blame for McNabb's lackluster production. Now it seems at least FB has a few brain cells.

Unfortunately if the last few games produce the same results it will be Shanahan that will be gone. If I were him I would check out and go elsewhere before Snyder throws him and his son under the bus due to the crybaby McNabb. I know Limbaugh is probably enjoying all this drama with McNabb!

Yep. It is always the same result. If a white coach benches a black quarterback or gets into disagreements with black players the bruthas on the team give up on him. They make sure whitey loses his job. It's happened too many times before.

As long as he lasts through the season. I have a feeling he will be cleaning house once the offseason rolls around..

Blackskins are actually up to 7 white starters now. They started the season with a mere 3.

Super news! I'm hoping Rex Grossman gets a chance to start for a long time in Washington and is treated better than he was in Chicago.

well I heard somewhere that Fisher put some guys that usually have a significant role on offense like Bo Scaife who wasn't injured on the inactive list today for their support of VY, the Titans came out and played well. I think some are devided, many would rather see a brother and lose, but there a few that would rather win, or rather help them pad their own stats.

I watched a fair amount of the Redskins game today, and the body language of the receivers was positive, because Grossman for the most part was very accurate and was throwing all over the field. So yeah, the opportunity to make their stats look better with a better quarterback can easily take precedence over "black solidarity" and a refusal to play hard for a White QB.

Shanahan's resume, and his refusal to put up with the $100 Million Dollar Crybaby from the start undoubtedly has earned him some grudging respect from some black players, and likely very positive respect from all the White ones.

I read a piece a few moments ago from Caste Clown Charles Robinson on Yahoo! Sports who had the Redskins on his "losers" list for this week, not because they lost to the Cowboys, but because Rex Grossman had a good game! Read for yourselves:

Washington Redskins
From the experience of watching Rex Grossman operate for years in Chicago, the worst thing that could have happened for Washington is Grossman having a good game. I've seen the Bears get on this rollercoaster too many times. I can only say this: If Sunday's 322-yard, four-touchdown performance from Grossman further opens the door for him to be this team's starting quarterback, the 2011 season is being doomed before our very eyes. Remember I said that. The guy is absolutely an NFL siren. Or better yet, ask anyone who lived through Grossman's tenure with the Bears.

Yeah Grossman had the nerve to take a crappy Bears team to the Super Bowl, he didn't win it nor did he win every game that he started so he fell far short of the modest requirements Chicago's retard fan base expects of it's QB's. I hope he lets down all those Washington fans and takes them to the Super Bowl too! That'll teach them!

Bears lost the SB because of their retard coach, calling pass plays in the rain and against the wind, cover two which Clark exploited, and not dressing a receiver who could cathch a ball named Mike Hass.

Yesterday, the 3 brothas (over-representation?) on "Around the Horn" were whining about the McNabb situation... such "bitterness" from the race of "alpha-males"...

Like I've mentioned countless times on this board, the bruthas won't be satisfied until eighty percent of all NFL quarterbacks are black. After all, that's what they feel the appropriate percentage would be.

As far as McNabb, they really need to just shut up. They have some fresh faces like Josh Freeman and Tavaris Jackson and they should be happy with that. Ohh yea, I forget, colossal bust Jamarcus Russell only failed because of racism as well.

From what I heard Mcnabb's agent was saying that Mcnabb suggested some plays or criticized the play calling and he has been at loggerheads with Shanahan jr. Obviously that wasn't a self serving view for a guy that was going to be a free agent in the new year...

I frequent a sports bar nearly every Sunday Noon to watch the games. Every week there is a table composed of a few whites and a couple of Black rooting for the Washington Redskins. Usually they are all loud win or lose. Last week, during an exciting game, the two usually loud black guys were as quiet as mice and subdued while the whites at the table were their usually loud selves. I'm sure it is because Grossman was starting. This week the black fellas failed to even show up.

Good for them, when the Browns are on I change the channel when Hillis isn't playing. Racial loyalty is a beautiful thing.

I am starting to like Walterfootball more and more. This is what he has to say about McNabb.

Washington Redskins (6-9) - Previously: #25 - Rush Limbaugh was right all along. The media wants Donovan McNabb to succeed. The evidence was there on this week's Sunday NFL Countdown

I really hope Cris Carter, Keyshawn Johnson, Mike Ditka, etc. read the
following paragraph. I'm going to hit the caps lock to emphasize it:

DONOVAN MCNABB SUCKS. HE REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY SUCKS.
HE WAS ONE OF THE WORST STARTING QUARTERBACKS ALL YEAR. HIS ACCURACY
BLOWS. HE CHOKES IN THE CLUTCH. HE STINKS. HE'S HORRIBLE. HE'S GARBAGE.
REX FREAKING GROSSMAN OUTPERFORMED HIM. NO MATTER WHERE HE GOES AND WHOM
HE'LL THROW TO, MCNABB WILL BE NOTHING MORE THAN MEDIOCRE. DO YOU KNOW
WHY? BECAUSE HE BLOWS. HE WAS ALWAYS OVERRATED BY THE MEDIA, AND NOW
THAT HE DOESN'T HAVE ANDY REID MASKING HIS WEAKNESSES, HE HAS BEEN
EXPOSED. SO STOP SUCKING HIS C***, ESPN. MCNABB SUCKS!!!

Think that's clear enough?

when all five members of the panel actually said stuff like, "How dare the Redskins treat Donovan McNabb this way?"

"They" will probably put McNabb in the HOF, but at least he doesn't have a ring..

It looks like somebody was trying to "make it rain" last night and instead got himself into a bit of trouble. Just more TNB.

Dan Snyder's $100 million dollar baby is at it again:

Haynesworth Accused in Road Rage Assault

Redskins defensive lineman Albert Haynesworth has been accused of assault in what police said was a case of road rage.
Fairfax County police spokeswoman Shelley Broderick said a 38-year-old man told investigators he was driving a Honda Civic in suburban Washington when he saw a pickup truck tailgating him and made a hand gesture.
The driver of the truck, later identified as Haynesworth, got out of his car when the two vehicles stopped and reportedly assaulted the other driver.
