if you compare Wariner & Merritt at PR's for age JW is still ahead. and JW is only second to MJ in # of sub 44's. Merritt isn't close and I don't think he will catch JW over the next two years in that category. the fact is Merritt isn't beating Wariner, Wariner beat himself. Merritt isn't all of a sudden running so great, it just the JW isn't running like he should be. So everyone think Merritt is unbelievable (not to take anything away from Merritt), but in reality he is no better than he was 2 years ago. the only difference is JW has slipped enough to give Merritt the wins. at this point I think Merritt has the mental edge on JW. now, if JW can get his act together, which I believe he will, he is going to dominate next year. of course no big meets on the line for next year, but I believe Hart will whip his ass back into shape and place him back on top. with Hart back, all JW has to do is get his head straight and the rest will follow.
Great to see Nick made the 800m final, that boy deserves it! really hope he medals.
can't wait to see how the LJ is going to play out. it s a shame Beyer didn't make the final.I would like to see the kid from Australia get a medal and a big PB!
