Dare I mention that the best running back in NFL history was a shade under 5'8? Not that Danny is the next Barry Sanders, but on paper they certainly have very comparable numbers. And if Danny is only a quarter of what Barry is I still think that's good enough for playing time in today's NFL.

Rocky Schwartz. He's 5'10", 204 lbs. At Houston's pro-day he put up 25 reps on the bench, ran a 4.42 40, 4.09 SS, 6.52 3-cone (!), 41 1/2" vert, and a 10'02" broad jump.
Not only that, he also had a very good season statistically, leading the team with 103 tackles, and adding 4 tackles for loss, 2 INT's, 8 pass break-ups, 3 forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries. I haven't heard about this guy anywhere before.
