Agreed! That's always nice, now give him the damn ball!
Yep. The MO is they talk up White athletes and then ignore them when the season comes. Let’s hope Leupke is able to break through some this season.Agreed!
Good to see he’s established himself even if it is at FB.https://nfltraderumors.co/cowboys-re-signing-fb-hunter-luepke-to-two-year-7-5m-extension/
Good for Luepke. He probably won't factor much into the Cowboys offense but one can only hope.

Honestly Cowboys RB room is trash. Was listening to Gruden podcast earlier and he stated Cowgirls only had 3 runs of 20yards or longer last season. Literally not hurting your chances by giving Luepke 10 carries a game. It will never happen, 5 affletes would have to drop like flies..
Some seem to have Stockholm Syndrome, or are "go along to get along" types. I don't know anything about what Luepke is like personality wise. I do know that he has a 9.68 RAS, which is outstanding, averaged over 6 yards per run at North Dakota State which is a program that can play with the "big boys" and also averaged nearly 13 yards per reception and ran a 4.61 at his pro day at 230 pounds. It makes me wonder what kind of conversations these white running backs have with the coaches behind closed doors. I imagine a white running back who’s ascended to the highest level of football isn’t a pushover who’s going to be told he’s nothing more than a blocking back. If it was me I’d be telling them either I get the ball or I’m not suiting up for you. Maybe it really just comes down to the money.
I don’t think so either. I do think they won the Micah Parsons trade. From what it sounds like, Parsons back is jacked. He’s going to have to be taking epidural shots every game just to be game time ready.
Be interesting to see how much Luepke gets used. You taking over/under

Watch his TD catch at @ the 58 second mark of this highlight film and the replay of it. There's not a black running back in the NFL that could make a catch like that. Luepke is clearly an NFL caliber runner, quite possibly (probably) the best all-around one on the Cowboys. It's a shame the Cowboys DWFs are still so brainwashed that there's been no push for Luepke to run the ball more. It'll take a Hillis Curse scenario for that to happen, and even then decrepit old Jerry Jones would likely veto it.
Change the color on this video so that the race of the runner/receiver can't be discerned and every "draft expert" would have seen him as what he is -- a power tailback who also has great hands. There's not one good reason why he doesn't get the opportunity to run in the NFL to see if he has what it takes except for the obvious one.
I want to see Schottenheimer put his money where his mouth is. He hyped Luepke up a couple months ago only to give him zero carries in the first 3 games of the season. And what's up with his game plan? Dak already has a whopping 126 pass attempts this year with only stinky numbers to show for it and the Cowgirls' rushing offense ranks 27th in attempts. So far only two Cowgirls' RBs have gotten touches and they are producing well seeing as how the team is ranked 2nd in rushing Y/A. It stands to reason that if you're running the ball well, you should lean into that, right? Imagine adding Luepke into the fold for a three-pronged attack? Nah that makes too much sense. Let's have Dak drop back 40 times a game and throw picks. And people wonder why so many NFL teams are struggling offensively? It's crap like this. Schottenheimer better get his act together fast if he wants to win football games.Dallas signed Hunter to a two-year extension worth over $7 million but he has zero touches this year. Of course the coach was talking how great he was doing in camp. They need to get this guy the ball.
I wish he would stand up for himself. Maybe show the coach the game tape of him against Arizona who had one of the toughest defenses in the nation back in 2023 and he dominated them. I think he’s just one of those country boys that wants to. “Do anything for the team”, “would rather block than touch the ball” or “gets more thrill springing his rb for a big play rather than doing it himself”. It’s too bad because I think he has the most talent since Hillis as far as big backs go.I want to see Schottenheimer put his money where his mouth is. A caste system mainstay. A white RB who has the talent to run the ball but is forced to block for the guy running the ball instead.Typical treatment for a White Powerback.
