I've noticed it too. They also wear jackets that are advertisements for the above items also. I guess its a fashion statement.

As a New Yorker who sees this everyday, I heard the reason they do this is so they can return the hat after a wear or 2, get a new one and always be "fresh".....Yo.

Not seen it except for on the internet. Most of the blacks around here either drive total piece of junk beaters with high end rims or cars that cost more than their house. It is nothing to see an Escalade sitting out in front of a piece of crap shack with a worn out couch and cans and bottles littering the front yard. this "style" is common in southern Arkansas, as well. in addition to the ludicrous nature of such unpaid advertising, it's even funnier when the extravagantly expensive paint jobs (and as has already been mentioned, the outrageously costly rims) coat a $100 piece of crap car.
the icing on the cake is the "sound system" that literally rattles the rust off the undercarriage and crackles with distortion because the morons equate loud with high-quality sound. while i'm not a fan of bass bumping, even i know the difference between thumping and the crap distortion that emits from the cheap-ass broken speakers in these "whips."

Yep! I have yet to notice a nice, late model vehicle with this type of paint job.

Not long ago, I saw an old 2-door Cutlass, painted orange-metal-flake, with an amateurish script logo painted (silver) across the door:

I live in South Dakota. Besides an area of Sioux Falls, there are hardly any blacks elsewhere in the state, and I've been across the state. The same holds true in Montana, and North Dakota, where the only blacks are in a section of Fargo.

I live in Nashville TN, and I see this everyday. Not only do you see cars like the "yoo-hoo" chocolate drink car, but also john deere, Oreo, and the Orlando Magic. I cant say to much about rims however, seeing as I drive a charger with 24 inch rims.

I was in Nashville for a week a few months back for work and blacks are not the only people in your city to have outlandish rims! I saw just as many soccer moms driving around in SUVs with rims as black people. I thought "Oh my gosh The real housewives of Nashville are f*ckin wiggers" lol. Seriously though what's up with white people in Tennessee. I mean Ohio has its share of white people with "rimmed up" automobiles but Nashville per-capita...WOW!
