Many sources are now reporting Wladimir Klitschko will fight Jean-Marc Mormeck in December.

There are not a lot of other options for Wlad, since Dimitrenko, Arreola and others will not be ready until some time in 2012.

Because Mormeck is a former titleholder and he's ranked by the IBF, WBO and WBA, it's a decent "stay-active" fight for Wladimir right now.

The more interesting thing will be if the fight is in Germany or France. Since Mormeck is probably viewed as cannon fodder (even in France), the fight will probably be in Germany where Wlad will sell out a hockey arena. I don't like the fight because it's a mere formality as Mormeck is shot and has never proven anything at heavyweight. I think Chisora would have been a better test(not that he would have done anything either).

Wlad should go for Alex Dimentrenko who is ranked in the Ring top ten.
The trouble is Dimientrenko, Povetkin, Helenus and Fury know they can't beat the brothers, and for the first time in history will admit it. Fury said he wasnt ready for Wladimir and would get knocked out if they fought today. Wladimir and Vitali are #1 #2 on my list of the greatest heavyweight in boxing history. As I understand it, even George Foreman has now admitted he couldn't beat them in his prime.

Dimitrenko, Povetkin, Helenius, and Fury will never be able to beat any of the brothers unless Vitali makes a mistake of fighting more than another year or two and one of them happens to knock a past his prime Vitali out. Dimitrenko doesn't know how to use his size and length to his advantage. He lost to Eddie Chambers who is 6 inches shorter and gives up 8 inches in reach.

This fight with Mormeck is simply a "showcase" fight. Wlad should demonstrate his awsome skills and then siimply leave this 2nd tier affeletic fighter draped over the ring ropes ala Chambers.

Been reading that alot of boxing writers are finally admitting that the K Bros are ATGs. Even that boxing troll over there at Yahoo Sports is getting on board.

I have not checked the yapping heads at the Ring Magazine yet, but sooner rather than later they will have to admit the obvious .:kev:

Looks like there should be about five or six weight classes between them + 1000X difference in talent. Why do we need this? I say crown the amazing K's the all time kings of the heavyweight division and leave it at that. No more fights. Nobody is - or ever was - in their league.

Mark my words, this will be Wlad's easiest fight in at least 5 years. It will be even easier than the fight with Hashim Rockhead. I expect this to last no longer than 6 rounds and that's being generous. I expect Wladimir to stretch this fight out a bit rather than knocking the afflete out in the first round.

Mormeck works as a commentator on a sport channel, while commentating Wladimir's previous fights he kept opening his mouth to depreciate both brothers and saying he saw flaws he could exploit although he probably just targeted a huge career ending payday.

"he saw flaws he could exploit"

Maybe running between his legs and diving through the ropes and racing for the exit.

Who hasn't announced they've seen flaws in the Klitschkos that they could exploit?

I don't see anything Mormeck can actually do to win this fight. Not a big puncher, he's a slow brawler with poor stamina. He's done.

On december 10th, Mormeck is going down and Wladimir reaches his 5Oth knockout.

Mormeck's comments are even less legit than Toney's and Haye's.

Who would pay money to see this fight? That picture probably cost the promoter a lot of money. Put some lifts in Mormeck's shoes or something.

On a side not, and some sad news for GDWF's, David Haye has retired.

is already wearing four inch elevator shoes!

Damn! I feel like I'm gonna cry. Well, she can always make gay porno films if her money runs short - long as she keeps her grotesque monkey feet hidden.

"Here dude, take this belt and wear it when you enter the ring so you will look like some kind of champion. People won't know the difference."

Mormeck is similar to Toney in terms of having a remote chance of beating Wlad. I wish Wlad would have selected Toney instead, for the mere purpose of coming close to killing this racist f*** in the ring or making him quit. Alas, now after the fight, I will have subject myself to Toney's slurring incoherrent ramblings of a punch drunk fighter pontificating or if one of my DWF friend fathoms the fanasty of Toney "man boobs" beating Wlad or Vitali.

Westside, we all would love see Wlad fight Toney. One problem. Toney will never get in the ring with Wladimir or Vitali.

Haye has retired? You have to be kidding me. I thought he was going to "destroy" Vitali next.

I think Wladimir took this fight only because He dosen't want to sit on His butt until spring.

Wladimir is getting to the point there He can break some records. With the Mormeck fight He will pass Lennox Lewis to become 4th in total number of title defenses for a heavyweight. He will need only three more to pass Muhammad Ali, four to beat Larry Holmes. And if He can win just His next eight fights (And I think He can) He will pass Joe Louis for the highest number of title defenses in boxing history!

So hold on to your hats things are gonna get interesting over the next few months....

I find some of you harsh on David Haye. All the trash he talked brought public attention, and People's opinion on the Klit bros has changed a lot since Haye-Klitschko.
They saw a huge 6'6" moving like a light heavyweight and outclassing Haye while they expected a "stiff robot" as the haters loved to say.

Whatever we think about Haye's behavior or boxing skills, he did the Klitschkos a huge favour hyping this fight in terms of recognition. So many blacks and dwf's expected Haye to "demolish" Wladimir that they couldn't move backwards and say Klitschko fought another "bum".

Mormeck, on that same channel he works on, said it was a 50 : 50 fight, he probably tried to make his loss to haye look better on paper.

Jean-Marc Mormeck isn't a bad stay-active opponent for Wlad, although the difference in size will give fuel to the Klitschko-haters.

There is a rumor that if Arreola and Wlad win their next fights, we'll see Wlad fight Arreola in the USA in March or April.

I think Wlad will have an easier time finding opponents in 2012, such as the winner of Thompson-Chambers.

It would be good for the sport if the sanctioning organizations had more eliminators, at least one per year. The WBO hasn't had a heavyweight eliminator since Chambers-Dimitrenko in 2009.

The IBF is the one organization that has lots of eliminators, but they have a bad habit of recycling the same boxers who have already lost title fights, Chambers and Thompson being examples. Arreola vs. Wlad would be entertaining, but no one wants to see Chambers-Wlad II.
