Only because of Adamek, not Vitali. Adamek is a big draw and his fights are always good. His fight with Cunningham was the fight of the year in 2008.

The life cycle of either Klitschko fights

Before the Match:
Opponent = Klitschko is weak, division is weak, I will ko him.
Klitschko-haters = This guy will knock him out, Wlad has no chin, Vitali is slow, bla bla.

Fight Night:
Klitschko dominates, opponent completely outclassed.

Post Fight:
Opponent = This guy is big and strong, my leg, my toe,
Klitschko-haters = Division sucks, 60's, 70's fighters would dominate them, bla bla.

Watch Wlad flatten Peter who tried to bob and weave like Frazier and you will see what Wlad would do to him. Watch Haye dance on the outside and not be able to get inside and it would mirror Ali(I will say that Haye really isn't as good as Ali). It's just utter nonsense. Nobody is saying Borzov could beat Bolt. But they always say Frazier or Ali circa 71' could beat either brother in their primes.

Jason Litzau was KOed by Adrien Broner so I guarantee his next fight will NOT be on HBO. Litzau isn't one of our best white boxers anyway, so I'm not eager to see him back on

Paul Williams was KOed by Sergio in his last fight, he's back on HBO this coming Saturday.

HBO DOES favor negro boxers - it couldn't be any more obvious. Ross Greenburg has even said, in as many words, he wants to support careers of boxers from minority groups.

I'm surprised that anyone who posts here at castefootball would accuse me of being a "conspiracy theorist spewing bile" for suggesting that HBO favors negro boxers.

^^^ Speaking of Valeri Borzov, though -- I think considering the advances in track composition, training techniques, nutrition, and the like... He would probably go sub-10.

Phenomenal athlete, that guy. Mennea, too.

On to Wladimir, though... I wonder what a prime Klitchsko could do versus a prime Larry Holmes or George Foreman. That would be a good fight.

Anyway, what Black apologists are doing right now is just typical, and expected. They didn't get the results they wanted, so they cling to the past. Sometimes racially-aware White people are guilty of it, too, especially when we talk about how Larry Bird would still be competitive in today's league.

Definitely he would be, and no doubt Tyson, Ali, Joe Louis, et all would still be talented today, but let's not tear down Wladimir just to praise the past, right?

Blacks and DWFs have been doing it just last month when they sh*t all over Dirk's championship ring by saying he could never have gotten it during the Jordan era. Blah, blah, blah... it never ends.

Parody, Jason was ko'd by Robert Guerrero several years ago on HBO I believe. Then he was on twice in the last year.

Again, never said HBO doesn't favor black fighters. They do. Parody are going to spend the rest of the night with a big frown on your mug while getting your accusatory posts on about me? You should be prepping for the 4th of July. Me, I'm at work and your rants are kinda case study of how angry you appear to be.

You should be careful to get your facts straight before posting, otherwise people will think you're stupid.

- Litzau was never on HBO before fighting Caballero.

- He was NOT KOed in his previous fight, had won four fights in a row before being on HBO against Caballero.

- He was paid very little and brought in as an OPPONENT to showcase Caballero last fall, and the betting odds were 11 to 1 against him (as mentioned during the HBO telecast).

Yes you did - do you forget what you post? You said I was a "bile spewing conspiracy theorist" for suggesting that they do.

I'm not making "accusatory posts on about you". I'm just defending myself against your insults - namely that I'm a "bile spewing, ranting conspiracy theorist".

Me, I'm at work and your rants are kinda case study of how angry you appear to be.

I'm not angry. And I'm not ranting, and my posts are clear and coherent. But very often Westside yours are not - please, take a look back at your posts. Who was the one ranting?

You should THINK a bit more before you post, and you should do a bit more reading and research so you can be SURE what you're saying is correct. Otherwise, you'll come across as stupid.

And you should at least try to have at least a LITTLE BIT of respect for your fellow posters here and what we're trying to do.

Try and understand, it requires more courage to go against the caste system in sports, than it does to just go along with it and not care about white athletes being discriminated against. You should realize it would be a lot easier for me just to say "I don't care" and stop posting here.

But I honestly don't think you are able to understand that, and now you'll reply with some more insults.

It was Showtime, so what, my mistake. I'm sure based on my prior posts, knowledge and experience as a fighter no one will think of me as stupid. You on the other hand have a bad case of W.D.S.

Solidpoint. Aren't today's athletes constantly heralded as "bigger, stronger and faster"? Oh that's right, it's usually only applied to football and sometimes basketball (or in comparison to baseball pre-Jackie Robinson); coincidentally the only sportswhere blacksare disproportionately represented other than sprinting anda fewother events such as Kenyans in marathons.Edited by: Don Wassall

I'd say Haye is better than Ali. You really can't compare fighters from decades ago to fighters of today. Today's fighters are much stronger and faster and I imagine at least the top 10 heavyweights would be able to easily beat Ali. Haye is clearly faster than Ali and hits much harder. Haye has KO'd 85 percent of the fighters he has faced and Ali only 60.

Haye calls Klitschko the best fighter in the world. True Manny Pacquiao fights are more interesting but Manny takes more shots than Wladimir does.

LONDON</span> |
Mon Jul 4, 2011 7:57am EDT</span>

</div>

(Reuters) - David Haye said Monday that
Vladimir Klitschko is the best fighter in the world but still believes
he could beat him in a re-match after losing their world heavyweight
unification bout.

</span></span>

The Ukrainian outclassed the
Briton to win a unanimous points decision over 12 rounds to add Haye's
WBA title to the WBO, IBF and IBO belts he already held.</span>

Haye
later explained he could not unleash his "Hayemaker" on Klitschko
because a broken little toe on his right foot meant he could not balance
or launch himself properly.</span>

He told talkSPORT radio: "Whenever you have injuries, the last thing you do is tell your opponent because he'll aim for that.</span>

"I
couldn't push off my right foot but that's not the reason I lost the
fight -- he was better than me, pure and simple. I came off second best
and even if I'd been 100 percent fit I might not have won. He's the best
fighter on the planet right now."</span>

Haye said he believed he could still beat Klitschko if he gets the chance of another fight.</span>

"I'd
love a re-match but the ball is in his court. I had the title and went
out to unify them, but now he's in a good position and it's up to him.
If he wants another super fight he can fight me. If he wants an easy
one, he can fight one of the guys who just goes over for a pay day.</span>

"It's
always been my plan to retire before my 31st birthday but I've got my
fingers crossed that he'll check out how much he earned (from the fight)
and realize he'll earn peanuts against anyone else compared to fighting
me again.</span>

"I'd love the
opportunity to do it again and I believe on my day I could beat him. I
failed this time fair and square but I'd like another crack at it. I'm
very frustrated with myself."</span>

Klitschko said a rematch was not top of his agenda and questioned how much Haye really wanted it.</span>

"You
know what? I am in the driving seat right now," the Ukrainian told Sky
Sports. "And I will make the decision what I am going to do next, with
David Haye or without David Haye, and it's a pretty good feeling.</span>

"I
am a pretty aware of my choices and what the next steps are going to
be...David Haye is out of the window, he's out of the picture. He's
out."</span>

IMO, Haye/Klitschko was a good demo on how Wladimir would look in the 70s.
Haye fought 100% defence, much like Kevin Johnson did against Vitali. Fighting in that way theyavoidthe highlight reel knockout but they can't win the fight or even any rounds.

Peoplewho dont like them want to believethe 70s greatswould just swat the Klitschko brothers away. But it don't work like that. The 70's fighters would have had to fight the brothers much like fighters do today, and thats to box orget on the inside, if they failed, they lost. If George Foreman whos style was based on being the bigger man and using his size to overwelm other fighter tried the same with the Klitschkos, they'd be picking up pieces of "Big George" for a week!

Wladimir's jab would of really picked Ali apart, his power alone wouldbe too much for most of the 190 pounder's 30 years ago.

lost, funny one about picking up pieces of George Foreman.

If Ali fought Wlad, it would be like Chambers fighting Wlad, in the end both would be drapped over the ring rope unconscious.

Exactly. The idea that "today's athletes are bigger, stronger, and faster than those of the past" often has a racial component. However, it only goes in one direction. When have you ever seen a present-day white athlete said to be better than a black athlete of 40-plus years ago on this basis?

Correct. You can see Clay-Ali fighting tomato cans like Alonzo Johnson, weighing only about 180, on Youtube. The Youtube video discreetly shuts down just before the the US tv announcers start complaining about the phony decision that gave the win to Clay, one of many that he got. Henry Cooper, also weighing only in the low 180's KO'd the loud mouth in fight one but thanks to Dundee's blatant cheating he didn't get the win, and not only have the record books not been corrected but when they show that fight on the telavivavision they carefully splice the action and don't mention one single word about anything unusual.

Not only are the heavyweights bigger and better and stronger than ever before right now, but they are far more international in scope. Clay and all the rest of their Negro "superheroes" never even fought one single Russian or eastern European or Cuban or black or white African.

Boxing does need to get the weight divisions brought up to date, though. There needs to be some more heavier weight classes - and less lighter weight classes.

No, looks like HBO will have a Bob Arum (Top Rank) card on September 10:

HBO schedule

They'll be showing a Gamboa fight.

Here's the HBO PPV Schedule

They'll have Mayweather-Ortiz on Sept 17 and Hopkins-Dawson in October.

I caught some of the telecast again and Vitali-Adamek was mentioned in a graphic on the bottom of the screen. I assume Vitali-Adamek will be on tape delay and the Gamboa fight will be shown afterwards.

David Haye regarding a potential rematch with Wladimir:
Whether Wladimir would want to do it with me again I don't know. He has shown in the past he's the not the sort of guy to pick the toughest of challengers.
Yes, he "picked"Â￾ you most recently. And yes, you thoroughly proved that you were neither "tough,"Â￾ nor a "challenge."Â￾

Poor cwybaby, he had a bwoken toe and that's why he kept falling on the floor.

I also remember crybaby's bwoken hand, except he was on a tv show and
waving it around all over the place, and people with real broken hands
sure don't do that. I also remember his poor widdle hurted back, only
he had no medical records to show that that one was real either.

Gaylord seems to have a simple stubbed toe, not a broken toe. Here's a broken toe. Notice the discoloration from internal bleeding.

The ONLY way a broken toe would effect his ability to fight is if he broke his big toe or had "turf" toe on it. A broken pinkie toe is nothing at all, it's just a pathetic excuse...
