Nick Florence - FR QB, Baylor
11 carries for 60 yards and 2TD in victory over Kent State. He also was 20 of 27 passing for 216 yards. Nick is Baylor's third string QB. He got the start because expected backup Blake Szymanski was injured in practice.

On another note NDSU;s Pat Paschall is getting serious loks form the NFL. I wonder what he has that Tyler Roehl didnt have to be considered a RB prospect, besides a darker tan.

I was at the UGA vs. LSU (caste) game...a good buddy of mine has season tix & invited me a while back. Man, it was awakening looking at the DWFs (in person) from a CF prospective (I'd not been to a game in a few seasons). Looking at all the "active"/current DWFs, I realize how DWF-ish I was pulling for the Dawgs/SEC all those years, etc. Walking back to our tailgate site (post game), I saw another group of tailgaters (all White) blasting out some rap...I was about a half a second from drop kicking their speaker into the next zip code. To see all these "rabid" DWFs pulling for "their" team/criminals (in person) was a good eye-opener. That's the core problem with DWFs...zero racial identity or pride.

I live in Alabama. I moved here and I knew white fans (DWFs) love their Crimson Tide, Auburn Tigers etc. I do express my opinion there should be more whites starting in the SEC. DWFs one to one will politely listen if I give my sincere opinion whites are not inferior athletically ,but face discrimination . Southern DWFs always say (if they say anything) blacks are much better athletes genetically. I can't help feeling this statement is more of a cop out. Maybe after decades of demonization of the white southerner, they are naturally shy about giving opinions which could make them vulnerable to the dreaded "R" word.

Yessir,JW96. I am a native Georgian & grew up a Dawgs fans. It wasn't until I discovered Caste Football that I (finally) awoke to being a quasi-DWF. As many of the fellas here know, the SEC has the most DWFs, as it's the blackest D-1 league. You're correct about the DWFs being scared stiff of the (contrived) "racist" label. I've awakened a few buddies, but generally folks will listen but not learn (about the caste system).

I believe that all of us need to start a grass roots case for Toby Gerhart being a Heisman candidate. That would truly expose the caste system. He is trending to rushing for over 1,600 yards this year on a team that is actually winning games at Stanford, the more they win, the more Toby will be featured on TV and the publicity will help greatly. Talk him up whenever you can!

i was watching the Iowa game the other day and they showed Brandon's picture and he almost looked part black to me. Is that just my TV or is his picture just dark?

some pac 10 writer named Ted Miller has stated on ESPN blog that Toby Gerhart should be a legitimate candidate for the heisman trophy this year. This is great news folks.

Gerhart = total stud.They don't make'em like this kid.I can't help but really be
impressed with him in all facets.Humble, smart (4.0) and athletic.

I'd take in on the Seahawks in a quick minute.

Rex Burkhead looks to be the superior back for Nebraska tonight over Roy Helu Jr., but to be fair Helu is probably having an off night judging by his previous stats. I doubt Rex has any shot to play his way into the starting role this year because Helu is solid, but maybe he can split carries equally if things continue to go well. Hopefully he'll get some more touches before the night's over. He's a heck of a talent.

Haha I know what you mean, there are certain players that depending on the angle, the sunlight, etc. can look "part black." The only reason this is even possible to think because there are a significant amount of light skinned black players, since anyone more than 1/4 black is considered fully black, even if their skin is the same color as your average white person.

On the front page of the Minnesota football website, there's a picture of Eric Decker and it makes him look light-skinned black!

"Burkhead hammers forward."
Good job, ESPN. Stick to the script.

RW, I thought that was a fair comment. It was at the end of the run and he gained two extra yards after the final hit. I would have described that as "hammering" the way he pounded into the defensive back. There is nothing wrong with "hammering," I'll take that description any day. It's not like "stumbling, bumbling, fumbling" or other such garbage.

It would be a fair comment if any of our boys ever got the comment "He turned on the jets there." or "He just flew past the D on that play."
But it never happens. NEVER.

I think Joe Martinek has a real good shot at ripping off another 100+ yard afternoon. I really think he's the top prospect we have under Gerhart. I mean this kid has got it all. Size, speed, vision, power, moves. Only a rs sophomore too.

Is anyone able to see the game to tell if they've ceased to hand him the ball as result of an injury or for other reasons?

i would have guessed an injury, since the other guy is not really running well.

I sure hope not. I believe his last run was a 15 yard touchdown, so maybe they want to just give the young guy experience since it's pretty much a rout. I wouldn't agree with this, but I do hope it's the case.

Well, Uncle Butch noticed that he had a white player getting the benefit of a redshirt season his freshman year. Can't have that. So he burned Hunter Furr's redshirt today in a meaningless game against Georgia Southern. Hunter got three carries at the end of the game for 6 yards. The clock is now ticking on Hunter. I have no doubt that he won't see the field again this season.
