I recently heard out in the field, from a D-1 recruiting coach, that it didn't matter if a certain 2014 white HS RB had rushed for 10,000 yds. in a season, it would be difficult for a "white" RB to earn a scholarship to the college he coached for. That's a direct quote! Now, instead of just not offering without saying a word or making excuses, it seems coaches/recruiters are saying it, "if you're white, forget the RB position."

Is this legal?

I ask anyone here, is there anything that can be done about it? Does anyone want to do anything about it?

The best way to go about it would be to file a class action lawsuit against the NCAA and the major recruiting services. That would take a "class" of plaintiffs -- White high school and college football players who have been discriminated against -- and it would need a tremendous amount of financial backing along with patience and tenacity, as such a suit would likely be dragged out for as long as possible by the defendants, and would require many expert witnesses and the cataloging of a lot of statistics and comparisons.

I actually thought McNair was better than McNabb....

Biggest game of your career, one final drive to tie the game. McNair almost leads his team to a score, McNabb vomits. McNabb only need a field goal to send the game to overtime. Neither belong in the Hall of Fame but McNabb sure as hell doesn't.

There are three young quarterbacks that I think will do well in the NFL, Matt Barkley, Nick Foles and Landry Jones. I think all three have a good chance to become franchise quarterbacks.

Foles was drafted in 2012 by the Eagles. He played well in adverse circumstances in 2012.

Barkley was also drafted by the Eagles, in 2013. The knock on Barkley was his arm strength. From what I saw he had decent arm strength so I don't think the criticism of him was accurate. Plus he's young so his arm strength will increase.

The presence of Foles and Barkley on the Eagles means Michael Vick, convicted animal abuser, is finished in Philadelphia.

Landry Jones was drafted by the Steelers where he will back up Ben Roethlisberger. He was enormously productive in college and I believe he will continue his productivity in the pros.

The 2012 draft produced a number of quality white quarterbacks who will have successful NFL careers.

Andrew Luck, Ryan Tannehill, Brandon Weeden, Nick Foles and Kirk Cousins all have promising careers ahead of them. More than one of them will be franchise quarterbacks.

There were 5 white quarterbacks taken in the first 4 rounds of the 2013 NFL draft; Mike Glennon, Matt Barkley, Ryan Nassib, Tyler Wilson and Landry Jones. All of them should have been drafted higher than they were.

Because of where they were picked all of them will probably stick with their respective teams this year.

I'm curious to see what opportunities they get and how well they do in their careers.

I'm especially interested to see how Landry Jones does. He was a prolific passer at Oklahoma but was talked down by the sports media. Former GM Bill Polian called him the best QB in the draft.

Some white quarterbacks taken late in the 2013 draft or signed as UDFAs could surprise. Zac Dysert, Sean Renfree, Brad Sorenson and Jeff Tuel all have a chance to stick in the league.

Notice how over in buffalo undrafted tuel has completely outperformed Manuel in every aspect. yet they still only see tuel as a backup. Read around how the dwfs get offended and defensive when ppl claim manuel only looked good against backups and weak defenses. I wonder how they feel about an undrafted qb outperforming their 1st round qoutaback afleet.

It's looking like stanzi will be the odd man out in kc. smith is a lock as is Daniel for backup duty. bray is getting most reps. maybe stanzi can go to greenbay once he gets cut to battle for backup duty. I'm a fan of stanzi he is very tom bradyesque in his delivery and pocket movement. he just needs to go somewhere he has a chance to backup.

I'm really hoping Tannehill has a breakout year. Unfortunately, caste GM Jeff Ireland has loaded up the O-Line with sumos who's pass blocking skills leave a lot to be desired. They had a chance to patch up the line by drafting Lane Johnson, but chose injury prone afflete DE Dion Jordan instead. Hopefully this boneheaded move costs him his job and Tannehill is still able to thrive despite crappy pass protection.

The Dolphins have significantly upgraded at WR (as they desperately needed to), and maybe upgraded at TE with Dustin Keller, but the offensive line is woeful to this point. It's amazing how some organizations stick so desperately to sumos when White o-linemen on average are so clearly better. Mindless adherence to Caste illogic may really hurt Tannehill's development.

When someone comes back with the old standby that "the best players play," what they should really be saying is that the players playing are the ones that have the highest odds of preserving the careers and social acceptability of coaches and talent scouts.

Good observation and summation Pie! I'm gonna have to use that, if ya don't mind! It's too good not to use because we are bound to hear the crap when we speak up about FACTS, not just our opinions...:thumb:

A large part of this has to do with the fact that football, unlike most other sports is so slotted by position. As great as Tom Brady is, there may have been a chance we never would have seen what he could do had Drew Bledsoe not have gotten injured. I imagine there may have been other quarterbacks who would have shined just as much as Brady did if given the chance and weren't stuck behind someone else.

This guy Tuel may be something special or he may not be. Still, I'll be rooting for him to play well in order to keep EJ Manuel on the bench.

And it still boils down to where it starts, in youth football and at the high school level. Sure, we get riled up about how our players are unfairly overlooked on NFL draft day, but considering that the majority of D1 players are black, how can it be any other way? We get excited when we see a college team starting 10 white players, which is ridiculous. At the HS level, 80% plus of the players on the field are white, and well over 80% of the state champion teams are white, but they are ignored by scouts and other "talent evaluators" based solely and demonstrably on skin color, the "eye test".

Drew Brees also may have ended up as a journeyman type qb if the Saints insisted on Culpepper instead of him. The Chargers didn't think he had the prototypical size and were ready to drop him after one bad season, then drafted Rivers then things started clicking for Brees, he did pretty well in a run oriented Norv Turner offense, then hurt his shoulder of course, but regardless was still never seen as the "future of the franchise", now on a completely different career path.

The problem is rivals and scouts, teams get incentives for recruiting guys with stars behind their names, the more the better, even though most of these guys never amount to anything. People often cite McGuffie as a bust, even though he was a 4 star recruit and did more than what many 5 star recruits wind up doing. With 4 star recruits there are even a ton of more busts. Of course he had the highlight video so I guess that makes him a "bigger recruit", probably the only reason why he was a 4 star recruit in the first place.

Whats worse is ESPN showing high school games now, favorable matchups between black teams. I bought a high school preview magazine that "previews" every state. Schools that I know are majority White will only have a few pictures of the few black players giving the impression that all of these teams are majority black. Of course some states it was hard to do this and inevitable to post pictures of White guys.

What's most frustrating is the amount of high profile white quarterbacks who were screwed over and will be remembered as big busts. Matt Leinart, Jimmy Clausen, Brady Quinn, and and now Tim Tebow will all be mocked. Then you have the huge influx of black quarterbacks trying to replace the white players.

Yes, this is the most blatant and determined effort yet. It's obvious how much the success of Griffin, Wilson and Kaepernick meant to the agenda as now they're trying to open the floodgates and as usual a large chunk of the DWFs have eagerly bought right into it and now believe that most of the best college quarterbacks are black.

This poll has to be rigged. I refuse to believe that even the DWF's are this stupid and hateful

^ regardless of who starts, the Raiders are an awful, awful team (that tends to happen when your roster comprises mostly of Black chumps).

The difference in starting quarterbacks is, if the mulatto fails to look all that impressive (most likely) it will because he has an awful team.

If Flynn fails to impress, it's because he's a bad leader and he's the reason the team sucks.

All of this will of course be laid out for the DWFs to mull over in their MENSA brains, presided by in depth, intellectual discussions chaired by the usual cadre of emasculated, race-traitor f@ggots—ie, Theisman, Esiason, et al.

Foles has come in and played well for the Eagles..
4 TDs yesterday (3 passing, 1 rushing). Since Vick has gone out, Foles has totaled 7 TDs & no INTs.

When Kelly was asked about the possibility of Foles taking over the starting position, USA Today reported that Kelly just shrugged.., I mean why would a guy with 7 TDs to no picks (and back-to-back wins)deserve a start in Philly.. :yo:

Jimmy Clausen was written off after his rookie season. This is too soon.

He still has chances of developing into a quality quarterback.

Foles looks as if he might be a big time nfl quarterback. This is probably Vick's last year with the Eagles.

With Foles and Matt Barkley the Eagles look set at qb.

For some reason Clausens exile from football rubs me wrong a little extra. Lots of QBs had poor rookie years. He was just given ONE season, and that was it.
