Claussen had even less chance that Blaine Gabbert has had with Jacksonville -- always under tremendous pressure with no time to throw and often no one to throw to, and then the DWFs and media say "He's a bust." The amount of credit or blame a quarterback gets for the success or failure of the other 10 players on offense is absurd.

i dont know about credit anymore now except for the few elite like Brady, Manning, Brees, Rodgers, now if a qb does well and wins he is just called a someone who managed the game well and credit goes to the team and the losses are all on the qb. It used to be the qb got all the credit for the win and blame for the loss, but doesn't seem to be true as much now, except for the qbs mentioned and black quarterbacks.
 
It's my understanding that Clausen had surgery and we'll probably see him trying out for a team next year. Jimmy had so much upside as a high school recruit and was almost destined for greatness compared to the likes of montana and brady if he could reach his potential. He got a raw deal at Carolina for Scam. He still has time to put it all together if he can get another look from some team not black quarterback crazy.
 
After Claussen was drafted, there was media innuendo about him being "too arrogant," "not a good leader" and other such drivel. Maybe he's a little "too Germanic" looking, the type of looks typically found among Hollywood villains rather than NFL heroes. It was like he was set up to fail despite his lofty draft position, which happens a lot more often than DWFs realize, and not just at the quarterback position. Matt Jones comes quickly to mind, but there have been and continue to be a number of others.

Hopefully Houston sticks with keenum. He did well considering it was his first start. He allows the houston offense to be more vertical. The playcalling in the last few possessions was terrible. Kubiack knew the chiefs d linemen were dominating and he did not call for more quick reads instead wanted to keep going for the big play and have keenum hold on to the ball much longer. He didnt do keenum any favors.
 
Keenum did play well for sure, he showed plenty of arm strength to go along with his accuracy. He is yet another record breaking white college QB that was overlooked and a great example of how often the so called expert GMs and scouts get it wrong.

Theres another 3rd stringer in jacksonville waiting for his shot who i think will turn a few heads like keenum. Thats if and when he gets it.
 
Case Keenum is a great argument in exposing the caste system to DWFs. Here is a QB who had an amazing college career, set tons of records and then became an UDFA. The question to ask is if he was BLACK, what would the media coverage been of him? The answer is obvious. His exploits would have been front-page BSPN news every week and he would have been a sure-fire first-round draft pick. When a DWF states that, no, he played for Houston, so even if he was black, he wouldn't have gotten much coverage. The reply to that is "what about Steve 'Air' Mcnair?" DWF point destroyed.

Also one of the earliest black quarterbacks hyped up and former # 1 pick of black-troit lions andre ware played for houston university. Well all know that ended in a trainwreck.
 
Matt Barkley has come in the last two games in relief. He's played the equivalent of one full game. He had some problems, throwing for 4 interceptions and fumbling thrice.

In his defense he had not worked out with the first team and he's a rookie.

In spite of his problems he moved the team at times and passed for close to 300 yards. He had a completion percentage of 61%.

This shows he has promise. Hopefully he will continue to get opportunities.

This is a key. Pure pocket passers are being knocked down in the draft. That's why Nick Foles and Kirk Cousins were available in the 3rd and 4th rounds of the 2012 draft.

That's why Matt Barkley, Ryan Nassib and Landry Jones were available in the 4th round of the 2013 draft.

Smart teams will take advantage of the situation.
 
If Barkley gets a fair shot I have no reason to believe he will not be successful. It really depends on whether or not the coaching staff is going to actually let him develop. He was considered a top pick two seasons ago and he was pushed down by the agenda to promote black quarterbacks.

We have all noticed the much shorter leash that white QBs get so honestly I think the better situation is for these guys to get drafted and developed behind older veteran QBs.

It worked for Hoyer who was playing really well before the injury, Cousins is better than the gremlin, Mallet has improved by learning behind Brady, hopefully Nassib is developing behind Manning.

All the black QBs that have come into the league have been mediocre at best, stringing together a few good games just to lay a few duds - no consistency.
 
The new rookie salary caps make pocket passers into even better investments than they were before. A late round pocket passer only counts like $400k against your salary cap. Nowadays elite QBs make >$16million a year. That's $15.6 million difference can buy a lot of good offensive talent.

Even Kordell Stewart would occasionally have a few good games, which would excite DWFs and was one of the reasons he was a starter for so many years despite being a terrible quarterback overall. Black QBs lack consistency (which is true of most black athletes in any sport), are injury prone, and fade at alarmingly young ages while White QBs are like fine wine and often have their best seasons in their 30s.
 
Mike Glennon is having a good rookie season for the Buccaneers. He looks like he might become a franchise quarterback.

Yet the dwfs on the Buc message boards are already suggesting he's a backup or mediocre starter. They want the Bucs to draft a non-white quarterback in 2014. Some of them are still on the Freeman bandwagon.

These dwfs are really far gone.

Nick Foles and Case Keenum have both emerged as franchise quarterbacks.

They're going to be starting in the NFL a long time.
 
Currently there are 6 black starters out of 32 teams in the NFL. That means that 23% of NFL quarterbacks are black.

Blacks are 12% of the general population. That means that blacks are overrepresented as NFL starters.

Even so, the anti-whites claim that blacks are being discriminated against at the quarterback position. This is a lie.

The statistics prove that it's white quarterbacks that are being discriminated against in the NFL.

I think keenum needs to finish strong. He is going to need the endorsements from the players to minimize the chances the team will consider drafting a black quarterback. The media has already started pimping teddy sewerwater as the texans top pick.

The Texans already have a good quarterback in Matt Schaub and a promising one in Case Keenum. They should use their first round pick on another position, an offensive lineman, for example.

Case Keenum is, I believe, a rookie, having been on the practice squad last year. He's done fairly well. He should be given a chance to develop.

Compare his performance this year to Geno Smith's. The media isn't suggesting that Smith be replaced, just the opposite.
 
Kirk Cousins is getting an opportunity to start for the Redskins for their last 3 games.

It will be interesting to see how well he does. He's playing with the exact same team as Robert Griffin, so a direct comparison can be made between the two.

If Cousins outperforms Griffin you can bet the sports media and the DWFs will be making every excuse imaginable to "prove" that Griffin is still better.

I hope Cousins does well.
 
Unfortunately, I think Case Keenums tenure as a starter is soon to be over, as the Texans will surely have the #1 pick and take Sewerwater.

Oh, and count me in as another who is firmly on the Blake Bortles bandwagon. I had never heard of him before I read about him on this board, but the guy is shooting up in the draft rankings. I watched some of his games and the dude can flat out play. If the Texans had any sense they would take him #1 in the draft over the overhyped black quarterback.

Some teams view Bortles as the best prospect (if he declares). Perhaps Houston is amongst them.
