Yes "qb guru" bob dimwitted-field was on nfl network saying manziel was still a work in progress even after winning the heisman, whereas negro qoutaback afleet taji boyd is his view is the best all around black quarterback in cfb. These dwf's really make me sick.
Tahj Boyd will probably regress this season like most black quarterbacks and still make it in the top. Freeman declined his senior year, his best season coming with Jordy Nelson catching anything thrown in his general radius, actually turning a few would be picks into big plays. \
dwfs may not notice it, but I would say about 50 percent don't like black quarterbacks. Many are saying Kaepernick, Wilson and RG3 will be figured out this year. Well most of them say 2 of those black quarterbacks will regress but always say one of them is special, I don't know if they actually believe that or saying that to not come across as racist. I have told the story before, but I will say it again. When Aaron Brooks was starting for the Saints, many fans stopped caring, especially after Jake Delhomme came in and looked better and even more so after Jake was released and Delhomme took the Panthers to the Superbowl, and Marc Bulger (also a backup to Brooks) was pretty good, and there was a period where JT O Sullivan was showing promise (also a backup to Brooks at one point) was showing promise. There were chants of "WE WANT JAKE", they were accused of being racist but they had the "hes a local boy" card. Many still consider Aaron Brooks one of the worst quarterbacks in Saints history, despite the fact that he one the Saints first playoff game in its history. Although that was luck, they won because a greasy handed kick returner fumbled the ball and a White special teamer picked it up and scored. Many try to say these fans are racist because Brooks holds a bunch of Saints records, well behind Brees, he is in the top. But he got by playing backyard football with Joe Horn. Defensive Coordinators figured it out, and he started getting picked off alot, and would smile after every mistake. Fans didn't like that. Then when you count in the fact that Mike McCarthy (Packer's coach now) was their offensive coordinator, and he had to simplify his playbook for Brooks, and Delhomme was above average in his prime, the Saints could have had success much earlier, like post season success, and more than one win in a wildcard game. Delhomme gets flack for being a game manager but thats the role John Fox put him in, run on first and 2nd down and throw deep on 3rd. It wasn't much different with Tebow, except Tebow got even less chances to throw, other than 3rd and long.
They also don't like the demeanor guys like Cam have, slumping over, pouting. Geno seems to be the same way. Many hate Kaepernick's celebrations (kissing his "guns"), Newton's celebrations after scoring a td in a game where they are down 3 tds with 4 minutes left to play.
So dwfs are quick to turn on a black quarterback. I mean they are quick to turn on a White qb even when he hasn't done anything wrong, but its usually media fueled like "he's gotta noodle arm" "he can't throw" "hes a statue and afraid to get hit". They eat that **** right up and believe it. Fans are actually saying Tebow has a noodle arm. Anything but, he has great arm strength. Its the accuracy on the intermediate routes he needs to work on and compared to guys like Byron Leftwich, Jason Campbell, Tavaris Jackson who got numerous chances, he is much better, and Leftwich had an akward motion.
It ay seem like dwfs love most of these guys because of the media, but I don't think thats true. Until a black qb shows consistency or wins a Superbowl (Doug Williams didn't start the season, so he didn't lead them there) it won't happen. Out of all the black quarterbacks they tried to push into the league the last decade only one had real success, which is McNabb, and he was done in his early 30's, and now dwfs are questioning how good he was since every qb in that system has done well under Reid when McNabb was down. They aren't sold on Kolb, which was the final question mark, so if he Kolb doesn't start then that will justify their beliefs, and if Manuel sucks then even more so. Why Michael Vick is still getting any love, I have no clue.
My guess is, although they love to worship negroes, they still need one player to relate to, and that is the qb, which they don't consider an "athlete", more of a "smart, 2nd coach on the field", despite many of the newer guys that can run as fast as tight ends and linebackers, as well as some of the "older" guys like Brees and Rodgers, I would say Brady and Manning have the least amount of speed, but even Brady has a quick 10 yard burst, and both are good at moving around the pocket. Brees can dunk a basketball at 6 foot. I think this is why they buy into the whole running qbs have to be black. When a White guy is running around and making plays it just confuses them, so they just believe the talking heads "oh these skills won't translate to the next level", oh you mean even the guys like Tebow, and now Manziel which succeeded against the SEC where most players (heavy emphasis on defenders) come from. Also they relate to the White fullback, the "high motor, brings his lunchpail to work, working class kind of guy", but they are being phased out of the game, most of it due to more spread type passing offenses, but still not that many White fullbacks out there, when you consider how many have been converted to fullback.
and most realize that a qb can't run for his entire career, the average career of a rb is 3 and a half years. Even the good ones tend to decline at 30. You want a franchise qb to last into his mid 30's. They will eventually have to learn how to pocket pass. If RG3 isn't running the option, then he won't have receivers open by 5 yards on a consistent basis, will he be able to make those throws? Don't know because never seen him, and thats what seperates college from the pros, because college you have at the most 4 years, which a good deal of runners can maintain health through.
but yeah, Manziel has a high chance of being screwed over. They will repeat negatives over and over and dwfs will believe it. He has a better chance if he stops taking off to run, and I think he can be a successful guy without running forward, he is still really good running around making passes down the field, better than Rodgers, better than I have seen in live in my lifetime.
