WR Bryan Walters was released by the Minnesota Vikings.
People dont seem to realioze here this is the 4th white db to be caught for doping in 10 years. They obviosly are thinking they need drugs to play with the bruthas. God you people are idiots. Well sort of.Today's cuts get off to a gruesome start with the Giants cutting Broha, and the two white WR's of course. Broha maybe to practise squad according to report from a NY paper linked at weenieworld. Also, Tyler Sash will be suspended for four games, and so he might not show as being on the final roster due to his status.
The Giants with their black GM and caste-hardened coach are so predictable. You just knew if all things were equal in performance they would choose the black player. I'd rather see Broha go to another team. F the Giants. With all the "supa affletes" the Giants have drafted at receiver over the last few years, the White guys never had a fair shot.Today's cuts get off to a gruesome start with the Giants cutting Broha, and the two white WR's of course. QB Brian Hoyer and C Dan Koppen released by the Pats. I also hear that Danny Coale will be getting the axe by the Cowboys.
I remember when the Bills in 1992 had 4. Beebe, Chris Walsh, that WSTD with the 10.9 100 meter speed and Brad Lamb who now is in Federal prison. If New England knew full well that long-time center, Dan Koppen, wasn’t in their plans for 2012, why didn’t they cut him on Monday, or earlier? Veterans, especially those who’ve appeared in multiple Superbowls, aren’t typically treated so poorly. Koppen made it clear that he wanted to continue playing after breaking his ankle is the 2011 opener…by waiting so long, the Patriots may have ruined his chances of finding a new team. I hope he catches on somewhere else and resurrects his career.
With Koppen gone, and no updates regarding sumo Brian Waters’ return (hopefully he doesn’t), the Patriots are likely to keep six white lineman (Mankins, Vollmer, Connolly, Wendell, Solder, McDonald) and two sumos (Cannon, Thomas), with an all-white starting five.
As for Branch, I thought he was a lock to make the final 53, especially after they cut Gaffney and Stallworth, and have little experience behind Welker, Lloyd, and Edelman (Matthew Slater is only an emergency receiver).
Jeremy Ebert had some drops, only a handful of catches, and one short TD catch against the Bucs during the pre-season, so I think he is still in danger of being cut and signed to the practice squad. I think New England will then sign a flanker from another team...
CAPTION: Ebert Scores vs. Bucs
With Branch gone, Ebert's only remaining competition was Jesse Holley, who was reportedly not at practice today (and Ebert was in attendance). Perhaps this means that Ebert did make the squad? Three white receivers making a 53-man roster would be an exceptional feat in the Casteon NFL, but I'll believe it when I see it...
