They haven't yet given up on VT's Logan Thomas for the draft. Here is an article trying to hype him up.
The writer is trying to make the case that he's another Cam Newton. Now I'm not a fan of sCam, and don't think he's really all that, but the only characteristics that he shares with Newton is that he's big and that he's black.

If you scroll down to the comments, you'll see that virtually none of the DWFs are fooled by the article, either.

The author claims that Thomas is the best thrower in the 2014 draft class. Ludicrous.

This is just another attempt to promote a black quarterback who doesn't deserve it.

On merit Thomas should be an undrafted free agent.

Thomas sucks - his recession over his college career should tell everyone that. Also, if his arm was so great why is Tom Savage being touted as having the best arm in the draft with Mettenberger up there as well. The author is probably just a negrophiliac black qb lover.

Is Boykin this years choice? Or that culturally appropriating ND QB?

This year it's Cardale Jones and Jacoby Brissett. Neither one is projected to be a 1st rounder but they could go in rounds 2-5. Neither one looks to be an NFL caliber QB but that won't stop teams from wasting a draft pick on one of them.

2012, Robert Griffin hyped to the skies, supposedly better than Luck, taken second in the draft. Bust.

2013, Dion Jordan, drafted third in the draft after Miami trades up for him. Bust.

2014. Jadeveon Clowney and Greg Robinson hyped to the skies, taken first and second in the draft. Both looking like busts so far.

Who's the next great black hype?

New Piss DT Robert Nkemdiche hands down my choice. Production has been abysmal but media still coddling and pushing him along as a premier pick.
