Griffin will not be an elite NFL QB, SCAM is not elite and will not be. SCAM has hit his ceiling, teams have tape on him, he has more INTs than TD passes.

How many of SCAMs TD runs were of the 1 yard variety? He is a TD vulture, they have two highly paid RBs they can give the ball to in goal line situations yet they give the ball to Newton to inflate his stats.

How did the Panthers get to the 1 yard line? Eleven Hovercrafts? Mental Telepathy? Sentinel Prime's Decepticon Teleportation Device? His 3,900 passing yards and 700 rushing yards were a non-factor?

There's only 4 teams in the league with more points, and only 3 teams with more yards. I think "Scam" MIGHT have a little something to do with that, lol.

I really find the "deep ball propaganda" to be amusing.. in college, especially the Big 12, these plays are allowed to develop. In the NFL, you aren't going to get several seconds. Receivers' won't often be open by 10+ yards, either...

Common sense indicates that "RG3" is going to be overwhelmingly a short to mid-range passer in the NFL. The good thing about the NFL is that there are legit pass-rushers' from many college conferences. When it comes to NFL pass-rushers that are from the Big 12 and non-Big 12, I'd wager that the "gap is growing" in favor of the non-Big 12. I think this upcoming draft is going to show that. The NFL won't stop drafting defenders' from OU, Texas, Texas A&M (now going to be in the SEC), but I expect to see a large disparity at d-line and outside linebacker.

Carolina's offense uses a lot of short dump off passes relying on the receiver to get yards after the catch and SCAM throwing it deep to Steve Smith (who should give carolina back his 2010 season salary after giving up on the team and showing a piss-poor attitude - yet all the experts will only talk of his resurgence this year and will never mention how as a professional he just gave up). The panthers also have two 1st round running backs...so hope that answers your question on how they got the ball down the field.

Keep on worshiping your false idol though

The blacks certainly have RG3's back!

Jemele Hill & Kordell Stewart of ESPN believe the Colts should draft Robert Griffin instead Andrew Luck #1 overall.

DD.comment
: Ex-Colt's coach Tony Dungy said the same on Sunday Night Football (NBC), which is relevant because he's good friends with Indy owner Jim Irsay. If he listens to Dungy, Griffin could go #1 ovwerall.

The racists Stewart and Hill should both be out of jobs. Both are nothing more than affirmative action hires. I posted an article in the Stanford thread that Hill wrote about drafting RG 3 ahead of Luck. It's all about skin color to them.

I don't know much about Griffin but he could be a good NFL QB. I have read that he is pretty smart so it's possible he is at the top of his demographics IQ spectrum, I think the Wonderlic will verify if that is true. So he may actually be worth a shot, the Cam Newton thing turned out alright, and I was sure that was going to be a Vince Young type of thing but Newton turned out to be better then Young is right now.

But seriously, Luck has the tools to be a Brees/Manning/Stafford type of QB. He might or might not, but if you don't take a shot at it then you won't be a championship caliber type team. And if the team behind you drafts him and it turns out he is that super QB then you are really screwed. Especially in Indy where the guy is following the greatest QB of all time (argueably).

But we are talking the Negro Football League where all decisions are made based on how it effects the pro-black concept of the game, so don't expect much commonsense or rational thinking.

If Griffin turns out to be good then so be it. Black quarterbacks have been on a downward spiral in recent years. Which ones are good? Newton certainly is but I don't see any other good black qb's in the league. Convick has returned to his former self, Freeman is playing poorly and Tarvaris Jackson is a joke. So much for the supa affletes taking over the position like the media claimed during the 1999 draft with McNabb, Culpepper, and Akili Smith.

What I do know is that the Andrew Luck hype is so big that he needs to be good right from the start. If he isn't the DWF's will quickly turn on him. He'd end up being the next Brady Quinn while Griffin will be a starter for years even if he's mediocre.

Griffin's hype has to have surpassed or be on equal par with Luck's. He needs to live up to the hype too. People are saying if Luck is number 1 overall than Griffin is a close second. I still don't see his style of play translating. Year after year people get excited for black QBs because they are "exciting" and can run with the ball but that does not translate. This season following football I have just really begun to realize and become fed up with all the retread lazy journalism/scouting year after year (mostly based on the caste system). By the end of the season I have just kind of tuned out.

I don't really care about the upcoming senior bowl/combine either because I see these no name black players being given spots to play in the senior bowl over bigger name white players. Guys like Nate Potter, Matt Reynolds, Logan Harrell, Derek Wolfe, Brett Roy, Scott Solomon, Joe Martinek and Shea McEllin have all been snubbed from the Senior bowl. The cycle starts all over again. I don't really think inroads will be made to blowing the caste system anytime soon, there are cracks for sure but the pipeline to the NFL is so corrupt and anti-white.

While on the road today, I had the radio tuned into a local sports talk show and the hosts were high on afflete jock strap fumes. Robert Griffin III is better than anybody in history! Forget Andrew Luck, this guy has more TD passes than incompletions after three games! Hand him the Heisman and the number 1 slot in the NFL draft!
Looking back, At least I nailed it on the Heisman call, next is the NFL draft. "RGIII" is going to enter the draft, and I'm still betting that Saint Dungy will convince Irsay to take him at number 1.

I've little doubt Dungy will try his hardest to make that happen. Matter of fact i'm not so certain that isn't the whole plan! Everyone THINKS it will be Luck but take into consideration they just ushered the Polians out the door and brought in a scout from the black quarterbacks only Eagles. It is clear they plan on darkening up one of the last remaining White teams and who better to usher in the Indianapolis dark ages than an overhyped Michael Vick clone?

Since tomorrow is national signing day, I thought I'd check to see if any team was able to duplicate Florida's incredibly racist feat last year of not signing a single paleface to a scholarship. I thought LSU would probably be the best place to start, but, alas, they did sign one paleface, an OL. Sadly, Iowa was almost as bad.

Anyway, the Tigers recruited a 6'3" 270lb "dual threat" black quarterback. Get ready for the hype. I'm sure there will be many comparisons to JaMarcass "Purple Drank" Russell.

I have noticed that the media is starting up the hype job for Logan Thomas to be the number 1 draft pick next year. Caste whore jock sniffers like Kiper, McShay and that dweeb Bunting have begun the hype of this guy. He did not put up huge numbers in the ACC yet another ACC QB has in his first year as a starter - Mike Glennon who is getting no respect. Another hype job will be for EJ Manuel - a player who has proven to only be inconsistent and injury prone when getting a chance to play.

White QBs are also getting attacked and picked apart - Landry Jones/Matt Barkley/Aaron Murray are all going to be targets all year. I am hoping Barkley does end up winning the Heisman this year. Sadly this trend is going to continue - the assault on white qb's is only going to get worse moving forward. The DWFs want "exciting" qb's that can run. ESPN wants that and the NFL wants more black QBs. Hopefully this is just another small blip like earlier last decade with Vick/McNabb/Leftwhich/Culpepper.

I am hoping Newton enjoys a sophomore slump and Griffin epically busts.

In my junior year of high school we had a quarterback with similar dimensions he used to carry tacklers like Paul Bunyon at the high school level. I can't see him having any running ability at this level(except for huge holes on broken plays).

This happens often with black quarterbacks. He had an NFL caliber reciever in Coale and had an average season with prototypical NFL size at 6'6 250 pounds with a strong arm. He was only a sophomore last year, he lost his two top receivers and the top rb, I can see a Jacory Harris type regression. Although if his stats only drop a little bit like Freeman after the loss of Nelson (yards went down to under 3k in the pass happy big 12 but managed to keep a good td int ratio) then Thomas will go in the first, first overall is out of the question unless he improves this year. This rarely happens with college black quarterbacks, they usually peak early and regress, at best stay the same. Freeman was a late 2nd rounder/3rd rounder pushed into top 20.

The NFL choosing size over skill-set at QB -- whether the player is White, black, Poly or latino -- is going to produce a lot of BUSTS. It's not only Logan Thomas and E.J. Manuel being thrown out there.. it's also Tyler Bray. (And, then, there's the people knocking Matt Barkley's "stature" -- and he was arguably the best college QB last year.)

I'm been following the "internet chatter" for next year's draft for about a month, and if people want to talk about the weak defenses' in the PAC-12, Big 12 and ACC, I'm all for it. Some talking-heads have said that Tyler Bray may be a 1st/2nd rounder by the time his "eligibility is up".. I'm all for that angle of discussion, but don't tell me he's going to be NFL-ready after THIS, his JUNIOR year. We've seen guys like Erik Ainge put up pretty nice numbers at Tennessee, but it didn't translate to the NFL. QBing in the NFL is NO JOKE. Even if it takes the better defenses' 3 or 4 weeks to gel, that still leaves 3/4 of the (regular) season to seriously harass QBs.

Ultimately, in the AFC, young QBs will get several wins over other young QBs, but, overall, the conference should remain top-heavy with New England, Houston, Baltimore, etc. Cinci will be tested this year, and I don't consider their Draft to be "as good" as the MSM suggests.

In the NFC -- if Jay Cutler, Matthew Stafford, Matt Ryan and Aaron Rodgers remain healthy -- there's going to be a brutal fight for a finite number of playoff spots. The same teams, with established QBs (possibly including Philly), will mostly do well again this year. NY has a tough schedule.

In the recent Draft, RG3 and Russell Wilson went to the NFC. Amongst Logan Thomas, E.J. Manuel and Geno Smith, at least one of them will likely go the NFC (Philly, Tampa, Arizona, San Fran, Dallas) IMO. Geno is being pushed as a guy that'll go no lower than the 2nd round. E.J. Manuel may go in the 2nd or 3rd round.

I do agree. I do not think that without a snap being played in 2012 Bray should be considered a first round pick. However the MSM will push guys like Logan Thomas, E.J. Manual and Geno Smith (even though he is a pocket passer) as the evolution of the position much like they did with Griffin this year - playing off Newton's surprising success as a rookie. No white QB is branded as an "excting, playmaking" QB. This is what is being pushed by the MSM, DWF's and analysts. Bray on the other hand is in the mold of the prototypical successful QB - tall, strong armed pocket passer.

Barkley, Landry Jones and Tyler Wilson will all get degraded and torn apart during the pre-draft process while Thomas and Manual will really avoid any head on criticism much like Griffin was immune to any criticism this year.

Leonardfan,

E.J. Manuel is falsely labeled as a "dual-threat." His "running ability" makes Cam Newton look like a cheetah in comparison! As you noted earlier, he's also injury prone.

Florida State's defense will be a year older, and it will keep them in games. If Manuel's arm doesn't emerge this year, plus an improved decision-making, I do think he'll face criticism. It's Logan Thomas whose being built-up as "sacred" and the guy "that can't be criticized." The MSM picks at least one black QB and treats them like they're The Natural...

Deadlift,

I agree completely about Logan Thomas. Once the 2012 draft was over all the "experts" did not hesitate to crown Logan Thomas as the black quarterback to make the run at the number 1 spot in 2013. I watched him play, he was not that impressive IMO. Glennon who plays in the same conference and was a first year starter put up much better stats.

Every year there is a player that seems to come out of nowhere. His face is thrown on the cover of every paper, every website, there will be a Heisman Campaign in his honor, and he will some how emerge from relative obscurity to suddenly realize his talent. He will also play OB, and be black, and previously unproven. Due to all this attention, by the end of the season he will rise to being a fringe first round NFL pick. By the time the talking heads, "experts", and unnamed NFL executives are done and the combine is around he will be an unquestioned Top 10 pick. After the combine (regardless of performance) he will be the "smart" choice for # 1. ...

...Geno Smith Jr, WVU (241-372 2763YDS 64.8% 7.43YPA 24TD 7INT)
Smith is also a very viable candidate he also players for a very dark school. If WVU wins some games this year, don't be surprised to hear his name rocketing up draft boards.

Guess I was a year early on this one!

Geno Smith will no doubt be the first pick in the draft. One slight problem is the NFL is running out of teams to start rookie quarterbacks. My prediction is that he gets drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs and starts next year, with competition coming from the Jets and Raiders to land him.

Here's a typical fluff piece from BSPN telling us how smart Geno is. Why? Because he turned down a scholarship to a fine arts school and majors in English. All that means to me is that he might speak better and more literately that his ebonics spewing chums. In the article, he also compares himself to an offensive coordinator due to how well he understands the game.

http://espn.go.com/college-football...-quarterback-geno-smith-focus-solely-football

At least Smith says he's not that great a player and he's just more prepared than other guys. How White of him.

This simply reminds me of the Griffin III hype about what a genius he is. That seems to be the media's new big push with black QBs after the failed experiments with mild-retards like "Purple Drank" Russell, Vince "Radio" Young and "Clueless" Akili Smith. Now we have this new breed of super smart, super affletic QBs.

I agree with others that Geno will be "pushed" to the top of the first round by the usual suspects.

Case Keenum played in the same offense vs similar competition and in his final season in 2011 he threw for 5631 yds/48 tds/5 ints with a 71% completion percentage.

He received NONE of the hype that Smiff is getting. It seems that the system QB stigma that has haunted white QBs such as Keenum, Colt Brennan, Graham Harrell, Kellen Moore and other prolific white passers does not apply to these black quarterbacks.

I am pulling hard for Barkley and Klein to start putting up some big wins and numbers. Hopefully teams start running more and slowing down the WVU offense. Klein will have to be perfect and not lose a game. Smiff will be allowed to probably lose 3-4 games much like Griffin did last year and still get the heisman.

That's seems to be 100% correct. Just look at the lack of attention that Nick Florence is receiving this year and he's putting up huge, RG3-esqe numbers.

You are probably correct. In another thread I alluded to the fact guys like Tyler Wilson and Barkley are going to be minimized during the predraft process and everything is going to be done to push them down draft boards.
