Boxingnews reporting that the fight is scheduled for March 19. Irritating that yet another black no name gets a crack at the title, otoh, he did win the WBC eliminator fight against Ray Austin. OTOH, why were he and Austin allowed to fight in the eliminator, at least one of the young European heavyweights like Helenius should have been in there.
Oh well, at least Vitali gets his mandatory out of the way, to clear the path for the imaginary fight against Haye.
 
If the referee hadn't intervened and obligingly stopped his fight with Austin the fat Cuban Negro would probably have collapsed from exhaustion.

I never watch the fight.
as i didn't care. but from that you say, it will be an easy win for Vitali....
 
Odlanier Solis is in his prime at age 30, while Vitali turns 40 in July.

Solis has a brilliant amateur record, winning Gold in the world amateur championships at heavyweight in 2001 (stopping David Haye), 2003, 2004 (Olympics) and at super-heavyweight in 2005.

But I believe Vitali will prevail.

Solis is another obese, over hyped negro. Juan Carlos Gomez and Arreola are both better than this clown and look what Vitali did to them.

I can't find a working video of that fight online, but Solis completely ran out of gas after the first few rounds and was doing nothing thereafter, which even the talking head announcers (who were gratuitously going on about how the K's are "robotic") noted. The most interested bit in that fight was when said talking heads explained how Solis got his odd name. His daddy, no doubt drunk at the time, devised it by spelling his own name backwards.
 
Vitali will win this fight fairly easily. We shouldn't talk down the
Klits comp anymore than the DWF/MSM already do after their new hope
gets KlitschkO'd. Before the fight these same clowns predict the hope to
win or give a good fight. The Klits comp isn't that bad, they're just
that good. If their comp was so bad than the Klits wouldn't be the ONLY
fighters dominating everybody in the top 10-20.

I've said it before, if the division is so weak, why are the hold-over fighters from
the 90's doing so poorly? the 90's are said to one of the strongest era's in heavyweight history,
but the fighters in the 90s were going life &amp; death with hold-overs from the 70s and 80s.
McCall knock out Lewis, Lewis was the best in the 90s, why isn't McCall in the top 20 today?
 
The division is as stacked as ever. You have the Klitschko brothers, Adamek who could go toe to toe with any heavyweight from the 90's, Boystov, Dimitrenko, Povetkin, and Chagaev. These guys would beat any fighter from the 90's and earlier.

An "ancient" George Foreman "barely" lost to Tommy Morrison, and KO'd an overrated Michael Moore.

Oliver McCall in turn "barely" defeated an "ancient" Larry Holmes.

In fact, a "prime" Holyfield fought both Foreman & Holmes and "just" won either by UD. It's reasonable enough that if Foreman & Holmes (late 30's or early 40's) fought today's Euro Heavyweights, they'd TKO'd. Edited by: j41181

Holyfield admited he was "out on his feet" against Dokes in 92, Dokes had lost his world title in 82 too Jerry Coetzee, why aren't the best from the "great" 90's blowing holes in this weakest of all heavyweight division today??

Unless Klitschko gets old overnight this should be a sparring session. I watched this fight live and Solis looked terrible until the late ko. He looked fat and slow with poor stamina. The score cards looked rigged against Solis as Austin really did nothing but was up on 2 of the cards until the last round when he basically quit in the ring. Edited by: white is right

I took a big swig of super strong Puerto Rican rum or whatever it was once, and I have the photo of me KO'd and flat on my back, decorated in obscene ways by the female witnesses.

Odlanier spelled backwards is Reinaldo.
 
In the current issue of The Ring, Eric Raskin has an article in which he declares Odlanier Solis to be the potential "savior" of the heavyweight division.

He quotes Teddy Atlas, who is picking Solis to win.

So David Haye isn't the only Great Black Hope in the minds of the Jewish Supremacists.
 
Atlas is one of the most biased of all analysts. He always down-talked Tyson because he was fired before Mike became champion. He always downtalks the Klitschko Bros. because he wishes he was lucky enough to be able to train champions like them! But he will never come close to training a champion.
 
Atlas has been picking against the KlitschkO's for years and if he gets 1 right (everybody does eventually lose) he will declare himself a genius and knew the brothers were frauds all along...
 
The blueprint for a black heavyweight fighter to be proclaimed "the savior"Â￾ seems pretty simple"¦KO the now-retired mega-bum, Monte Barrett. Barrett has 9 career losses and Solis KO'ed him at age 38.

Miss Betty Atlas picked against a white fighter? Gee, that's the 500th time in a row. I wonder if she weeps like a Jewish school girl every time her dark champion loses his manhood in the ring at the hands of a white warrior? She'll have her heart broken (again) on March 19th.

I don't think Solis will be an easy opponent for Vitali, he has some very good technical skills and decent power.

However, I am confident Vitali will prevail as always, and will celebrate his 40th birthday in July as a world champion.
 
this will be vitali's most dangerous opponent since his comeback, I hope vitali wins.
