i watched some goals by Wondolowski on youtube, scored at the goldcup, and they didn't seem unmarked goals, at least not the ones i have seen
and i don't like when people say that a player is not fast, speed isn't really needed in soccer

I watched the game over some internet feed and the gay British commentators spent almost as much time slamming Wondolowski as they did worshiping Eddie Johnson. Johnson will make the WC squad because he can play out of midfield as well. Not sure how that bodes for Brek Shea's roster spot, but he did play in a couple great balls. Wondo probably needs another goal out of these next two matches now to stay in the mix during qualifying. I still think it's Terrence Boyd that he's competing with for a team place, and Klinsmann loves his Blermans.

Landycakes was a terror out there today and, gay or not, will be a leading, white team fixture going forward. The only goal conceded to El Salvador came from a penalty after clumsy hip-check by DaMarcus Beasley, who was at that point the only black on the field for the US.

Donovan's ex-wife was a hot actress. Pretty sure he isn't gay. :)

8 whites again for Team USA! I could live with that if they went with 8 at the WC next summer. Anyway, the whites are: Parkhurst, Goodson, Besler, Beckerman, Holden, Bedoya, Donovan, and Torres. Wondolowski, Shea, and Diskerud are our guys who are most likely to be subbed in. If you haven't seen Team USA play, tune in tonight! These guys have been playing some great soccer.

The USA has looked really good tonight, up 3-1 on Honduras right now. Landon Donovan continues to tear it up, scoring 2 more goals and adding an assist. Bedoya has looked good tonight too, supplying two assists to Donovan.

It looks like Klinsmann managed to get another "German" to play for him.

http://www.soccerbyives.net/2013/07/report-american-bosnia.html

That's fine with me, I hope all these "Germans" go to play for him; it's not like Germany needs any more blacks and non-whites on their team, not that any of those guys have the skill to play for Germany anyway.

Klinsmann is also suspended for the Gold Cup Final today.

It will be on FOX at 4 pm Eastern, for those interested. I'd expect 7-8 whites starting for the USA today, with some more attack minded football to be played.

Stuart Holden tore his ACL in that Gold Cup final and is out nine months, ending his World Cup hopes and possibly his international career (he'll be 32 during the next WC). This is the third major surgery for Holden. Any silver lining is that his successor will be Mix Diskerud, who delivered a man of the match performance.

In addition to this new Blerman, Brooks, Klinsmann got a firm pledge from 22 yr old Icelandic forward Aron Johannsson, who parlayed a strong tenure in the Danish league into the Eredivisie.

aron-johannsson.jpg

While this guy looks a lot better than most of our current crop of forwards, he is American only by way of pure technicality. He was born to Icelandic parents while they studied at the internationally-acclaimed University of South Alabama, and he left with them for home at age 3. He grew up in Iceland and spent his teenage years playing for their youth national system. Johannsson missed a cap-tying qualifier with a chance injury before deciding to reevaluate his options. The USA is simply a better likelihood to qualify for future World Cups and perhaps increase his profile.

Apart from bucking the trendy mulatto fetish, I'm not really excited about this precedent at all. The best-case scenario for him as a player just means that there will be a future Nordic poster boy for the absurd ideology that a Mexican anchor baby is "just as American" as the rest of us. At least he seems to speak English.

I'm not sure how I feel about this either Phall. It would be nice to have him up top instead of Eddie Johnson. But at the same time, he was raised his whole life in Iceland so it would seem somewhat mercenary. Although, being born in the U.S. is a lot better than the Blermans who have never even stepped foot on U.S soil.

On a more positive note, the U.S. won the Gold Cup on Sunday. I believe the U.S. started 8 whites, 2 blacks, and 1 mestizo....which is respectable. At least the 2 black players are multi-generational Americans (Beasley and Johnson sounds more American than Oguchi Onyewu) and not some multicultural agenda African immigrants.

As most on here, I was a huge critic of Klinnsy initially because of his preference for Blermans and West African immigrants. To be fair though, he didn't understand the perils of what we already know about black players because he never had to go through the growing pains with Germany or Bayern. But to his credit, I think Klinsmann gradually figured it out over the last year as his teams slowly became lighter and lighter; and coincidentally more intelligent and skilled. The players that he's selecting now have a high soccer IQ and much better tactical awareness than under Bob Bradley.

Klinsmann's team displayed impressive skill through out the tournament and were very entertaining to watch. It was rare to see that kind of consistent display under Bradley. They had about 75% possession in this match (which is ridiculous even for Spain's standards) while maintaining over 65% possession in almost every match of the tournament.

I'll support this team at the World Cup, as long as Klinsmann learns from his mistakes, picks the players that truly deserve to be there, and doesn't revert back to a Blerman or diversity agenda team.

maxresdefault.jpg

By the way, the funniest part of the trophy was celebration was Oguchi Onyewu rushing up the front of the podium to be one of the first players to lift the trophy - a guy who played almost no role in the team and was sent home after the first round because he was so poor.

Equally hilarious was Eddie Johnson's miss from 2 yards out on a perfect cross from Brek Shea. One of the worst misses I've ever seen. Someone please find a video of that :)

This shows how ridiculous American law is. Being born in a country should not get you citizenship. This is why America is really barely a country. No real country would allow this.

I don't think most European countries allow this, but I am not sure.

I saw on Big Soccer some people predicting a back four with 3 Blermans.

Iceland's soccer federation has weighed in:

Statement from KSà – Aron Jóhannsson should play for Iceland

Aron Jóhannsson is an Icelander born in the USA in 1990 where he lived in the first years of his life. Aron’s parents are Icelandic. Aron got his soccer education under the KSà umbrella, with Fjölnir, where he played all the junior years (with a short stay with Breiðablik) and then played for their full team, before joining AGF in Denmark on September 1st 2010.

Aron Jóhannsson played 10 international matches for Iceland U21 in 2011 and 2012. Of these 10 games 8 of them were in UEFA competitions and Aron was a starter in each of them.

FIFA allows players to changes national sides once if they fulfill certain criteria, even if they have played with junior national sides, as long as they have not played an official A team match. One of the conditions allows players to switch to a country they were born in if they wish to represent it.

Aron has for the past year been unable to answer a call-up to the Iceland National Team from the national coach due to injuries. During that same time, news filtered through that the US Men National Team coach was interested in the player. Aron has no link to soccer in the USA at all.

Yesterday a statement from Aron was published where he expressed his desire to play for the USMNT. The only thing that has been pointed out to KSÃ from an interested party, is that his income potential, as a USA player, is much greater, both in the form of grants and sponsorship, than if he were an Iceland player. It is simply so that an Iceland National team member must play for land and country and for that they get honor and glory.

It is the utmost wish of KSÃ that Aron turns back on his ideas to change national teams. Aron is an Icelander through and through who we need in the tough international competitions. Aron has already played 10 U21 matches for Iceland and his future belongs there. Hopefully the public and media will respond and challenge Aron to continue competing for Iceland. KSÃ has already requested for Aron to participate in the next national team match vs. the Faroe Islands on August 14th.

There is no logic behind Aron relinquishing his Icelandic soccer identity.

Iceland Football Association

I don't disagree with this at all.

Funny exchange on a typical gay fan board:
Ken Salazar says: I just hate the hypocrisy of the fans that hate on Rossi and call him a traitor, then without a problem say that it is a-okay for Aron to be part of our team. You can’t have your cake and eat it too!

ThaDeuce says: So you are saying that AMERICAN soccer fans should have the same reaction when a dual national chooses the U.S. as when a dual national chooses the other side... if you read Iceland’s official statement, you see it is their turn for sour grapes.

Seriously, don’t get this. Do you cry when Mexico wins and smile when we do? What the hell do you expect from soccer fans of a team but to cheer when we have good things happen (winning, acquiring talent), and btching when we lose? In what What world do you watch soccer?

"Acquiring talent", what an unorthodox concept for a nation's player pool. This numbskull would have no reticence cheering boorishly for "his" team of cosmopolitans, whoever they are.

I agree with you guys on this. Although Johannsson will be fun to watch play, and at least he isn't one of Klinsmann's Blermans. Like you guys and Rebajlo on this, I don't like all of these mercenaries, but I will take Johannsson over the Blerman's because as Milan said, he's at least been to the USA before in his life. I would prefer 23 Americans on the roster. This free-agent style mercenary system is ruining international football like all of the third world immigration is. Also, on BigSoccer, there are whole threads dedicated to finding all of these dual nationality players. I've also seen the thread where the DWFs want 3/4 back line of Blermans: Johnson, Brooks, and Chandler.

Take a look at this: the DWFs are wetting their panties over the possibility of this guy getting US Citizenship.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs...e5fcbd2-e559-11e1-8f62-58260e3940a0_blog.html

I honestly hopes he picks the USA... so the Germans don't have to deal with him on their team. The same goes for the Bayern Munich guy who was playing today, Julian Green. These guys playing in the US will at least help to lessen the darkening of the German squad.

Also, that's really terrible news about Stuart Holden; he was one of my favorite USA players, and to see him hurt with another ACL is terrible.

Based on his leg injury history and how innocuous the incident looked you have to wonder if there is something really wrong there.

Yes it is very concerning that it's his same knee that he's hurt again.

Also, I've been watching a rerun of NCAA Soccer Championship game, and the teams, Georgetown is all white, and Indiana has 10/11 whites. So if two of the best college teams in the USA have 21/22 white starting, why doesn't the national team follow suit? Oh yeah, we love to import ugly looking "Germans" and West Africans who've never even been on this side of the Atlantic, and of course play a bunch of Hispanics, because you know, they run circles around those slow white honkies. A lot of the Hispanics (like Joe Corona and Herculez Gomez) have dual nationalities, and if they aren't good enough to get a call up from Mexico, why the hell would we call them up then? It's not like Mexico's B or C team would be able to beat their A team...

If the USA actually utilized the talent they have at home in the NCAA College teams and MLS academies, rather than scout the world for dual citizens who could care less which country they represent, they might actually be competitive against strong teams like Germany, Brazil, Spain, or Argentina.

Also, It's not like Mexico is as good as Spain.

There was one player who was born in the US to one parent who was from El Salvador and one from Honduras. I think those are the two countries. He could then represent 3 different countries. I wonder if his parents were even legally in the US. This is how silly national teams are getting.

I am also against birthright citizenship even if the parents are in the country legally like the Icelandic player.

I am against it too. Someone mentioned this earlier in the thread; since Johannsonn signed on, now the jock sniffers, Gulati and co. have a Nordic mascot to justify swaying all of these second rate Mexicans and "Germans" to play for the team. Europe, I know you mentioned that none of the other great footballing countries really do this. Do you see Argentina trying to sway some half Argentine from Europe to play for them? What about Brazil? Or Italy? Or Germany(besides their Turks, but at least Ozil was born there)? Hell, even nations that suck at football, like Jamaica, didn't even think of calling up GK Sean Johnson, which should show you how much he sucks.

What we said about us being Mexico's "B" team, you could say that we would also be Germany's "C+, B-" team. We got a bunch of really average players like Jones and Williams. I don't know why Americans are so happy their "countrymen" (who NEVER even set foot on this side of the planet prior to playing for the USMNT) decided to play over here. They don't give a sh*t about the USA, or Germany for that matter. It's simple, these losers were never going to be good enough to play for Germany, so they all come over to the US to play. I believe Jones was the only one who was even called up to Germany for a couple friendlies. So DWFs call these guys "Americans" and are happy they decided to play for "us" over Germany? Something tells me some of these loser DWFs think that if they decided to try and play for Germany, they would be fixtures in their national team too, over the likes of Klose, Schweinsteiger, Lahm, etc. No DWFs, they're playing for the USA, because they never would've had a chance in hell to represent Germany.

Let's recap some "our" immigrant players.

"Germany"- Jones, Williams, Brooks, Chandler, Johnson, and Boyd (with undoubted more of those ugly mulattoes on the way over here.)
Mexico- Gomez, Corona, Orozco-Fiscal, Edgar Castillo, Omar Gonzalez, Jose Torres(white), and undoubted many more that I've missed in my brief overview.
West Africa- Bill Hamid(Sierra Leone), Onyewu(Nigeria), Joe Gyau(Nigeria), Maurice Edu(Nigeria)
Jamaican- Sean Johnson
Colombia- Juan Agudelo

So basically, if we fielded a team of immigrants, it would be a combination of a great footballing country's "C+" team, and a bunch of really average to crappy nation's "B" teams. Let that sink in for a minute. Like I mentioned in my first post, why don't we use those resources to get great American players from our Colleges and Academies in the MLS? Nah, that would be counterproductive, and would undermine all of Gulati's diversity efforts, as it would make the team 90% white, and very good. Gulati wouldn't want that, would he?

I did some research and there have been some players from Argentina that played for Italy. Camoranesi played in the 2006 WC. His great grandfather left Italy in 1873 and Italy gave him a passport. It's not like it was his father or mother. Aguy called Omar Sivori alsp played for Italy.

Pepe plays for Portugal but is from Brazil. He moved to Portugal as an 18 year old.

Spain really wanted Messi to play for them.

I do like the idea of blood being a nationality over a state.

I think someone who was born overseas but has one American parent is more American than the Icelander who has no American parents and never lived hear. The person with one American parent overseas is more American than the anchor babies too.

Camoranese is more Italian than Balotelli, but he really shouldn't play for Italy.

The whole idea of nation-states and even ethnicity is really becoming blurry. That's what the people in charge want. They want to destroy it all.

A whopping six blacks/mongrels started for Klinsmann's Euro-based team today:

Howard, Fabian Johnson, Brooks, Jermaine Jones, Eddie Johnson (no relation), and Altidore

Castillo and Corona-Crespin were brought on as subs. I can't recall if we're counting Bedoya as white, even though an American named "Alejandro" is infinitely dubious.

Once again, a reminder that when soccer was sold as an idea to the USA by the internationalist brokers in high places for the 1992 World Cup, the USA team had exactly one black - Cobi Jones. He was a novelty and that was acceptable. Someone else pointed out an obvious fact: American blacks don't even play soccer. It's too "gay" and there is no money in it.

But now, the USA fields an afro-centric team, even as the college scene is dominated by whites (to a fleeting degree). The MLS is a darkening experiment in multicultural propaganda. I could buy into a team with a chunk of "lunchpail" mestizos, since they are realistically reflective of this country's underclass and population writ large. Instead, our soccer federation imports magical negroes to reinvent the wheel and win future World Cups with "team speed" and "upside".

Just checked the box score... the "Go Go USA" squad won with four goals, all scored by the "pure" blacks. Klinsmann found yet another wandering weirdo to bring in, "Bobby Shou Wood".

bobby-shou-wood-27692.jpg

I'm out of clever quips to describe this f&&king guy.

edit: scratch that, i will invoke the persona of a shell-shocked vietnam vet. "there's Charlies everywhere!!!!!"

240px-Bobby_Wood_1860_2011_2.JPG

this guy is so far off the radar that a "diehard" soccer fan like myself has never even heard of him (because i would remember mocking him). klinsmann is plombing the depths to find these aliens with fractional citizenship in the bundesliga minor leagues.

Phall, I've been counting Bedoya as white; because, despite his name, he still passes the "eye test", and no doubt is very white.

BedoyaAlejandro_ISI_USMNTHCS20101011216.jpg

Alejandro-Bedoya-ISIPhotos.com_.jpg

I've never even heard of Bobby Wood either. Why do we have to scour the earth for rejects from other countries? With the exception of Johannsonn of course, who would've started for Iceland had he stayed there; the Blermans are a different story, though. It was a disaster from our perspective; the four goals were the result of a hat trick by Jozy Altidore, and one by Eddie Johnson, although Twellman I believe gave a lot of props to Michael Bradley for one of Altidore's though.

Phall said about Johannson:
The best-case scenario for him as a player just means that there will be a future Nordic poster boy for the absurd ideology that a Mexican anchor baby is "just as American" as the rest of us. At least he seems to speak English.

The announcers were talking about Johansson's history and how he qualifies for American. Twellman said that he has remained in contact with America because they went on many vacations in America. So that is what qualifies you as a real American now.

And Twellman said besides he was born in America so that is that. This is exactly your worry. All those anchor babies are Americans even if there parents sneaked into the country. Just like all those Turkish kids who were born here while their mother was on her packaged tour deal to get their child American citizenship.

I would say a player whose father was in the military in Germany is more American than the above examples. I don't think Klinsmann should pick them all though.

I am sitting here watching the Ivory Coast vs Mexico with a stadium in NJ full of Mexicans and Ivorians. I hate what our moronic leaders have done to this country. Every crappy third world hell hole can fill stadiums all over the US so they can cheer for their homeland, a place they don't want to live in.

This. I have little love left for this country and anger is becoming harder and harder to muster. This country needs to collapse or balkanize so that White folks can have a country or countries for them. Just Whites living amongst themselves. The Liberals can stay in "diversity land", just leave us be. As for Mexican soccer, why not just let them play all their home games in America. They can use our state of the art stadiums that our taxes paid for. They'll still sell out games and have nice facilities to boot. This "makes sense" doesn't it?

What exactly is the point of this thread?

I can't tell if you guys want more players who were born and brought up in the States, or if you just want only white people in the team. It sounds a lot like the latter, which is pretty disappointing.

What's wrong with Eddie Johnson and DaMarcus Beasley, other than they happen to be black? Their parents are American, they were born in America, and they learned their soccer in America. They're American through and through.

If you guys have issues with Germamericans, I get that - not because of their skin color like the lot of you, but because they were born in German, grew up in Germany, and would definitely have played for Germany except they're not good enough to play for that team and are "settling" for the US out of convenience.

But why the hate for EJ and Beasley? Or worse, Tim Howard? Because he's half black?

You ask 'what exactly is the point of this thread?'...I say what exactly is the point of your post?

I'm sorry to break your heart, but yes, blacks are an inferior race...even according to science.Even their status as human beings is debatable.

That above isnt hatred, they are facts,as cold as they come.

The overall point is that the people picking the teams -(like Klinsman) believe in black athletic supremacy. They are passing over more talented white athletes for lesser talented blacks simply based on skin color. Of course, this happens in all team sports and other nations like France are even worse when it comes to implementing black supremacy. But why should non-blacks support a team that discriminates against them? Why shouldn't I support a team that nurtures, appreciates and supports white athletes over "my" team that discriminates against us? Would blacks support the U.S. basketball team if it suddenly became majority white?

Eddie Johnson and DaMarcus Beasley are two great examples for this thread. Neither are particularly young (29 and 31) to be receiving constant tryouts. Both were all but finished internationally after long spells of poor form and regular injuries. Klinsmann saw fit not only to return them both, but to actually change their positions to plug into his formation. Are they such indispensable footballing talents that you must stuff the left side of the field with this duo? Why should Eddie Johnson play his first career game at left midfield for the international team?

They have each won a pretty good run of form under the current spotlight (past three games), which assures all stupid USA fans' blind support. Before that? Beasley's been made foolish rather consistently and Eddie Johnson has whiffed once or twice for every sure strike he's placed. EJ is not a first-team MLS striker, he's not a second-team MLS striker either... why is he a national team striker? If I were to take a stab at this question, I'd say that Jurgen Klinsmann is very impressed by his abdominal definition and instantly rates him higher than goal-scorers because of homoerotic meat-gazing. Klinsmann having a chink wife and hiring his mexican gardener to be assistant coach.... well let's not go into his corrupted German mind just yet, perhaps some evil Marxist drove a nail into that skull

America's best striker.

Geir Thorsteinsson, president of the Football Association of Iceland (KSI) on Aron Johannsson choosing to represent the United States instead of Iceland:

"I can't understand why America, with all of their hundreds of thousands of football players, don't look inside and develop their own talent,".

That's what happens when your talent pool is full of wogs and ****skins.

And now,some jaw-dropping figures:

If you think about that for a second, the situation is bizarre in the extreme. The population of the United States is roughly 320 million -- a thousand times more than the 320,000 people in Iceland. And it should be understood just how small Iceland really is; the Nordic island has fewer inhabitants than Luxembourg. In fact, Iceland's population is smaller than the urban area of the city of Mobile, Ala., where Johannsson was born. It is jaw-dropping that the United States national team happens to need the striker more than Iceland, who are only a two-legged playoff against Croatia away from qualifying for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
