zidane is obviously not muslim, he has never been muslim
naming his children with european or neutral names settles it
he was born in the right wing and very white city (for french standards) of marseille, has a local accent, and has no relatives who are deep in organised crime as far as i know, unlike benzema for example, who is a more typical arab

Finally England couldn't walk away with three points because useless black Danny Rose can't bloody jump:

Great header by Glushakov though! But Danny Rose is an absolute liability and any Spurs fan will tell you this.He is regularly found at fault for a goal every single game. Not only did he not jump here,he just capitulated and let Glushakov pick his spot.Absolutely pathetic.

Philosopher -

That goal was soft as shite. Danny Rose was busy gawking over at Georgi Shchennikov and seemed oblivious to Vasili Berezutski's movement. Schoolboy stuff...

England won't get very far with Rose, Chris Smalling, and Kyle Walker manning the defence. When it comes to high pressure tournament football, I don't have all that much faith in Gary Cahill either. His positional bungling on Balotelli's goal during the last World Cup still makes me wince every time I recall it (which I try my best not to...).

Zidane is certainly one of the best footballers I've seen in my lifetime, the only one I could think of as good as him would be Cristiano Ronaldo or Leo Messi today, but it could be said in some respects Zidane is even better than both of them. Its a different type of player so not easy to compare the three of them, yes Ronaldo scores more, but I think Zidane is the more complete and composed player.

The greatest moment for France was in 98, and that was because of Zidane. Platini may have Ballon d'or but he does not have a WC final winning goal, or a moment like Zidane did. The general view, by the majority of people is that Zidane is the best player France has ever had in the best team France has ever had (1998 world cup winning side). That is quite telling because of course he is a first generation North African immigrant and he is widely regarded as being the best to have played the sport!

BoxingSpecialist2 -

Well, that was a good wheeze. :roflmao:I actually chuckled out loud like some cartoon character. There's nothing quite like the dispassionate objectivity of the Muslim, is there?

You were already lamentably short on credibility but this load of fungus-blotched bollocks makes you look like a hero-worshipping six year-old. Who, pray tell, regards Zidane "as being the best to have played the sport"? Besides delusional Muslim fan boys like yourself, that is...

I know someone who was at the match in Marseille last night. He said on the way in there were fat drunken Russians wearing Vladimir Putin t-shirts:facepalm: trying to provoke fights with England supporters. I guess it got worse later on. No doubt the Russians will claim they are victims of "Russophobia".

Nice goal from Luka Modric against Turkey. It came out of nothing.

The Croats look good. They are in control but they probably remember what happened against Turkey in 2008.

it's a shame that they can't score more than 1 goal
in such a strange group phase with the 3rd teams of some groups advancing to the next round goal difference is going to be important i guess and it could be a way to make sure turkey will not advance

In a sad state of affairs, it's sickening that we've had to wait until the 3rd Matchday to get a matchup between two all-white teams. It's great to see Poland and Northern Ireland playing all white guys!

Germany with the usual 3 non-whites starting.. you know, those three that could never be dropped. I think Low would run Khedira, Boateng, or Ozil out in the starting XI even if they had a broken leg.

And here Bull**itSpecialist2,this should shut you up for good, atleast as far as Zidane is concerned:

Juventus owner Gianni Agnelli claimed that the departure of Zinedine Zidane to Real Madrid was no loss to the Serie A giants.

The honorary president of Fiat said in an interview with the Gazzetta dello sport that the French midfielder, who transferred earlier this month to Spanish giants Real Madrid for a world record $120million, had been "more amusing to watch than useful".

"When I saw him for the first time he played very badly and I said to (Michel) Platini what have you sent us? He told me to calm down, he'll amuse you."He was right, he was more amusing than useful," said Agnelli.

Agnelli claimed that it was Zidane's Spanish-born wife Veronica who called the shots in relation to his choice of club.
"After five years he wanted a change. His wife, understandably, wanted first to go to Barcelona before choosing Madrid. I don't like holding a champion who wants to leave."

Agnelli added that while they could live without Zidane, he regretted that they had not succeeded in signing Italian striker Christian Vieri from Serie A rivals Inter Milan."Without Vieri there is a small deficit in attack. With him we would have been great. We really needed a striker like him up front."

Nedved who replaced Zidane, won the Serie A in his first two seasons with Juve, and dragged them singlehandedly to a CL Final, which they would have won if he wasn't suspended.Nedved looked destined to make The Czech the Euro 2004 champions until they met Greece.

Meanwhile,Zidane was close to a flop in the Galacticos team at Real, while Ronaldinho made a much greater impact in roughly the same time.

Poland registered a 1-0 win over Northern Ireland thanks to a Milik goal:

Go Poland!:pesas:

Poland were good value for the win. In controlling possession they avoided the fate of so many other teams that play Northern Ireland. The latter often win scrappy, shapeless matches in which neither team ever seems to have much possession of the ball.

Boateng saves the day for Germany!

I'll give Boateng credit; it takes some skill to turn the ball over in midfield, run back, nearly put a cross into your own net, and barely clear said error before it crossed the line.

the maych was closer than people expected, but ukraine was unlucky or made the wrong choices when they could have scored
ozil was non existant, and neuer made great saves but he came out of his goal unnecessarily, something he does very often now

Great find above.

Anyways, back to The Euros,it does indeed seem like Goalkeepers will be a major factor as there are quite a few shaky ones around.Neuer had one very good and one outstanding save against Ukraine:

Of all the keepers we've seen so far only Neuer,Llloris keep both out if you ask me.These teams aren't the favourites without reason!

I dont see why there is a debate on Zidane's religion. He stated himself that he is a non practising Muslim. It will take you less than 1 minute to search that on google and see it is the truth. What that tells me is he is Muslim, but doesnt care enough to practice. Those are his own words and should be accepted at full value. Without arguing about how good he is, my point is it is pathetic that arguably France's best footballer ever is not even an ethnic Frenchman. That speaks poorly for the entire nation of France and the French ethnicity. Then you have folks here defending the French and French people when the reality is clearly that 99% of the White French are wiggers, liberals, leftists or otherwise aiding in their own disenfranchisement/destruction.

But hey, if guys like Rebajlo and Frederic want to keep supporting a lost cause be my guest. And a "lost cause" is exactly what France is. In my opinion, it is the worst Europe has to offer culturally.

As for the matches today and yesterday;

Croatia-Turkey was awesome and very well matched but the right team won. The Turks had some good chances, but ultimately couldn't pull the trigger. Wanted to see more out of Arda Turan. Im a fan of both sides, Turkey and Croatia and it is refreshing to see both national teams stay true to their ethnicity and roots. Modric's goal was excellent but the play of Perisic was sublime. It didn't really surprise me because Ive seen Perisic in WC 2014 and for Wolfsburg in Bundesliga, and he's truly an awesome player, one of the better wingers in Europe I'd say. I really think this could be Croatia's year to go far and possibly even win. I think Croatia and Germany are the 2 best sides Ive seen thus far.

It was also great watching Poland play. Im a big supporter of Lewandowski but Milik's goal won the match. He looks like a fantastic young player.

Looking forward to Spain and Italy later on, two almost all white teams I am proud to support.

It's not "cool" to see posters here indirectly supporting England and France. In my opinion, they are the most dislikable teams in the tourney. I'm glad, in fact overjoyed that Russia was able to equalize and steal points from England, I thought it was glorious. Also, Vardy should have started, either in place of Kane or one of the wingers (Lallana, Sterling),I think he's the best player Englands got and he would have finished the match if he was on. The Manager screwed up. Same old story for England, poor decisions, poor play, poor results. Its also not surprising that the English fans seemed to have got the worst of the exchanges and seemed to have gotten beat up by the Russian ultras. All kidding aside the average Russian is probably ten times harder than the average Three Lions supporter. You learn that as a boxing fan! The simple fact is the people are stronger and more genuine the further out of West Europe you get (I guess its all that "liberalism" "equality" and "feminization" in the West).
