According to British bookie William Hill the favourites to win the tournament are as follows:

France 3/1
Germany 4/1
Spain 5/1
England 8/1
Belgium 11/1
Portugal 16/1
Italy 18/1
Croatia 22/1

At those odds Italy look like they'd be worth a flutter.

I think Pogba may be one of the ugliest guys I've ever seen. Also, if he fails, they've already got the excuse of "too much pressure" on Pogba, as the primary reason.

It sucks that three of France's best players are their three attackers, who coincidentally are three of their 5 non-black or Arab players in the starting XI.

France look pretty ordinary to me, their defence is shocking. I think Romania could snatch this one, as long as France don't score straight from the kick-off...

In the Copa America, USA bookies had USA listed as the odds-on tournament favorite! Just saying, trend England down a bit in the odds simply based on home-state bias. Although... they do look good on paper and could have been even better with Drinkwater and whoever got shafted for Marcus Rashford. Anyway, we're into the first game so all bets are presumably off.

I like Croatia a bit better than Italy considering the longer odds. Then again, the Euros have seen some quintessential 'catenaccio' games over the years, so maybe one win, two draws, and a series of penalties with Buffon is a strategic projection for Conte's Italy team.

Damn, even if Romania wins right now, France will have a pretty tough time not advancing out of this ridiculously poor group.

Damn!! Giroud scores for France!! I guess having two white players in attack has helped France out a bit.

Stancu converts a penalty for Romania!! 1-1 now!! Of course, Patrice Evra was the one who had the bad challenge to concede the penalty...

Also, Coman on for Griezmann, now only 3 whites for France.

France win on a stunner from Payet.

I'm going to be sick if I have to keep listening to the commentators praise every single thing France's black players do. For instance, Coman simply knocks down a ball and controls it without totally screwing up, and instantly, they say "Look at that silky smooth touch of Coman; France have a lot of quality in their subs for this team." Also, how in the HELL is Moussa Sissoko in the team if he went the entire Premier League season until April without actually scoring for a relegated team?

Getting sick of ITV hyping up Wogba, typical 'poster boy' negrophilia...

The commentators I was listening to were the same. They said they expect Pogba to go to Man United for the biggest transfer in history.:grazy:

He didn't look too happy though when he was substituted. Neither did Griezmann.

It is funny that 'frederic' hates (((France))) just the same as we all hate (((USMNT))).

I cheer for Gignac especially though, I used to play a FIFA video game and he was very good for my team.

see how important it is to have a flawless goalkeeper in those kind of tournaments
payet man of the match and giroud keeps scoring (8 goals in the last 8 games for france if i recall correctly) that's the only thing to remember from that match
also ofcourse pogba did nothing and the only arab started despite coming from nowhere (he shouldn't even be in the squad, as he wasn't even part of the reserve)
great contrast to see giroud scoring (compare with benzema and his zero goals for france over 2 euro champs) and payet shining (nasri? ben arfa? lol)

honestly the way i see things now is france is probably going to the quarter finals, so i hope that in the matches they have to play to go there, only the white players and payet get the spotlights
giroud is now only 9 goals away from benzema's number of goals in the national team, it would be great if after these euro champs he would be even closer
and payet is non white, but not black, and as a former poster wrote to me in a private message, payet is probably the best non white player (outside of south america i would add) so he deserves it

even if they lost or did a draw against romania they were going to go throught anyway, switzerland and albania lol
it would take a miracle to lose against those teams and i don't even want to root for any of those 2 teams
so no regrets for this match

really? when he played for toulouse?
or now that he is playing in mexico?
(obviously the french player i like the most is giroud because he's from the same city as me, and for what he did in the french league with montpellier)

biggest match tomorrow will be russia - england
obviously we will root for russia but i don't know if they can do it, i have zero faith in most of the eastern european teams
remember at the last world cup when they were kicked out by algeria lol (the rejects from the french league who couldn't play for france and can't even perform well in the african cup of nations)
but i will 100% root for them against england obviously

Saw the opening match of Euro 2016 after work today (I'm going to try and watch every match, but it will be hard with my work schedule). Was supporting Romania and hoping they could pull off an upset, but Payet's play was simply brilliant and his match winning strike was unquestionable and made his side deserved winners. Payet played well for France. For Romania I thought Stancu, Sapunaru, and Chirches (sp?) played well. France has a team of useless blacks, at times they had only 2 white outfield players on the pitch after Griezmann was subbed off, absolutely terrible for a supposed "European" team. Like is this for real? In all honesty, France has the look of an African team and 7 of 11 of their players were full Negro.

I almost forgot even more important than the match itself, is England fans and English football hooligans;

Carnage has erupted on the streets of France, mainly in Marseille, where England fans are said to have clashed with local Arab gangs, Police, French fans, and Russian hooligans. Numerous England and Russia fans have been arrested as brawls have ensued and shops have been set on fire. Police have used tear gas and rubber bullets to quell the football hooligans. Some police are saying it is a full scale riot, even a level above what is generally viewed as "hooliganism".

One England fan was reportedly beat up by rival hooligans and had his body dumped in the harbour of the Mediterranean Sea.

Here are some shots from yesterday and today of English hooligans going at it;

Streets in Marseille are said to be littered with beer tins, wine bottles, and alcohol perephenalia. Here is a shot of the morning after;

Stay classy England fans :) Just imagine what will happen for the match VS Russia, coming very soon. I'll be whole heartedly supporting Russia. If its anything like a fight, or boxing, the Eastern Europeans would win easily, but football is a more "cultured sport" so its harder to predict. England are probably the favourites, but Ill be pulling for Russia.

France looks like a warzone, with the violence, shops set on fire, hooligans, strikes (so there is no transit), garbage and empty beer tins all over the street because municipal workers are on strike.

Edit: French riot police are now referring to clashes between England fans and Russia fans as "rioting"

Well, the big, bloated Euro 2016 has begun. The composition of the "French" team more or less reflects the crumbling Dystopia it allegedly represents. I say "more or less" because despite the almost token presence of a mere three Whites in the starting lineup against Romania, only one of the eight remaining players was an Arab.

It's difficult to muster up any enthusiasm for this competition as the 24 team format has transformed the European Championship finals into a TV money-driven farce. The fact that 24 of the 54 eligible UEFA teams are in the finals tournament and that only eight sides shall be eliminated at the conclusion of the group stage (!!!) is an affront to both the sport itself and to any cerebral fan. But more teams means more matches which in turn means more TV money and more ticket sales and more merchandise, therefore...

The match being played at the moment epitomises the madness of "modern" Europe and "modern" football. Switzerland is playing Albania - but sixteen ******* Albanians walked onto the field in Lens. Switzerland's starting lineup contains three - yes, that's right, three - Swiss fellows. Funnily enough, that's exactly how many Frenchmen started for "France". The remaining eight players wearing Swiss shirts can be broken down as follows: five Albanians, one Bosnian Muslim, one Negro, and one mestizo. Talk about degeneration...

The French team had four whites starting: Lloris, Koscielny, Griezmann, and Giroud, but I definitely get your point; it's ridiculous; France is back to the days of the 2006 World Cup with their "new" lineup.

During the five minutes I was watching (sort of, I just had it on in the background) I assumed the team in red was Switzerland. It was only when I heard a Germanic name (Frei) for a player in white that I realised the "Swiss" are not in red! A disgusting spectacle.
