There was actually a number of them until the early to mid-1980s, just that none were stars, used as you wrote mostly as tailback-fullback hybrids, a role blacks almost never play at the collegiate or pro level.

There's a PSU graduate in our golf group here where I live. I'll be letting him know that I will be following PSU closely in 2026. I'm sure he'll be puzzled.
I really like Hansen. He's big, tough, and fast. I wonder what the NFL will do with him?

Still haven’t seen a competent offense under Dickell! Plus Badgers have a depleted WR room as of now. 4 transfers out and 1 to pros. Joseph is a supreme athlete. But I guess it is back to spread
Option for UW?! The only success they have had under Dickell is when they are run heavy.

I noticed they landed Iowa State Safety Carson Van Dinter. 6’3 210lbs RSo. Badgers should have offered him when he was playing HS ball at Kaukauna!

Why ? The SEC needs to wake up and stop the Caste system ****, so whites must go to the heart of the problem and destroy the system there too! Unfortunately there are some that still allow regional prejudices to keep whites divided...not implying your reason is prejudice.
